It was clean and that’s a big deal. The rooms were quiet. It worked for what we needed and I would stay again

No complaints

The beds were very comfortable. The room was quite clean. I learned that it is best to make a reservation directly with the hotel, rather than using third party online companies. There was confusion over the Bookings.com website that stated we could pay at the hotel, but the charge was actually put through the next day after making the reservation. We didn't have to cancel, but I wonder how much hassle would have ensued if we had. This was not the fault of the hotel. Lesson learned.

Having instruction on how to operate the TV remotes would have been helpful. We found the towels very thin. And the outlets on the bases of the lamps did not work.

Cute artwork that’s actually for sale. Lots of options for the free breakfast. Room seemed clean. All the staff was friendly and awesome. Liked that there was a loveseat in addition to the bed. Nice that laundry room was available. Close enough to walk to lots of things.

There were four flies when we entered room that were immediately killed. Throughout the night and the next day, more and more just kept showing up! We always had between one and five flies in the room and couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. The window had a good screen on it. Was kinda gross, but idk that it’s actually their fault.

They call their breakfast a "continental breakfast". Actually it was a BREAKFAST FEAST. They had everything: a waffle maker, a pancake maker, coffee, hot chocolate, assorted teas, hot entrees, hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, milk, fresh fruit, muffins; not to mention the syrups, dairy products, condiments and other delightful offerings. As an artist myself, I appreciated it that all the walls were decorated with hand painted canvases that were very well done.

Nothing it was perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Staff was pleasant and welcoming! Room was clean and comfortable. Safe parking next to the main road. A little noisy from the main road but that was expected as the hotel was an older hotel so the windows didn't seal as well as a new built hotel. Breakfast was great, better than the two bigger chain hotels that we stayed at during our trip. Price and value was great compared to surrounding hotels. Good location, we would definitely stay again next time we visit the Port Angeles and Olympic NP Area.

Not much to complain about. If the windows were double or triple pane to eliminate the road noise, that would make it perfect or you could just request a room facing away from the main road.

The room was mostly clean. I dropped an item that rolled under the bed and when I reached in to get it I came out with lots of dust and hair on my hand and sleeve of my sweatshirt. The rest of the room was clean. The hot water is fast and amazingly hot. Water pressure is good as well. The door on the freezer section of the mini fridge was stuck so we couldn't use it. Everything else worked well. Pet area is good. Breeakfast was also good. There are restaurants in the area as well so we found easy options for dinner.

The hair and dust under the bed. I was told there were pet waste bags outside but I didn't see them (I had my own so no big deal). Needed to use the garbage can by the front door for the pet waste which is fine with me, but maybe not for other guests. We were in the room right outside the ice machine and pop machines. One of the pop machines is very noisy...we could hear it running quite often from inside the room. We could also hear people upstairs moving around.

For me, first impressions mean a lot, and our initial arrival and check-in experience was very positive; Monique was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. As we planned to stay 3 nights, we requested a room on the uppermost floor. Monique helped get our bags upstairs. Nice room with comfy bed and all the standard stuff ... plus a Keurig coffee maker. Fresh cookies in the lobby was a nice touch. Complimentary breakfast was above par. I'm a detail person, and their attention to such was noted and appreciated.

Maybe a little pricey, but certainly more reasonable than the national chain places in the area.

We travel with a “people lift “which we need for our disabled daughter and it has to fit under the bed so that we can get her on the bed for sleeping. This is one of the rare hotels which does not have the underside of the bed blocked by a board. Also they were ready to give us a rollaway bed if needed. 👍🏻😁The staff were very courteous and helpful. 😁The Inn was clean, and they had “no carpet floors” which helped a lot with our lift. The beds were very comfortable, the room was big enough to move around in, the breakfast was well stocked with delicious choices. I highly recommend The Ocean Star Inn.

I had nothing that I didn’t like.

It's better than we expected. Very close to restaurants, coffee shops and other central places. It's also not far from the Lake crescent (around 35min), Olympic game Farm (10-15min) and other attractions. We stayed in a two queen size bedroom. The room is big and comfortable. There's a small refrigerator, microwave, sofa and table with a chair. The complimentary morning coffee is awesome! They have fruits, pancakes, waffles, juice, milk (not only the "traditional" cow milk, butter, cream cheese, honey, some syrups, coffee etc. All is fresh and delicious!

There is nothing to complain about. Much better than most 3 stars we've seen sometimes.

The entire place was so clean. Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was even good. I have to say the staff were also very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Only one thing I can complain about and it’s a nit-picky thing. The bath towels were a little small for my liking but there were plenty of them and they were clean
