the room was clean and very comfortable, i liked the pillows, they were really soft and the bed was great.

the exterior looked a little divey so i was pleasently surprized when i got inside. Also, I would have liked to have a bath tub in the room, there was only a shower. although the shower was quite large and the water was nice and hot.

Very comfortable and clean queen sized bedroom with private entrance and usual ammentities (coffee maker/TV/Wifi). I enjoyed being able to set my own room temperature and appreciated the window coverings that provided privacy while still letting in light. The proprieter and his family were very welcoming and accomodating, even providing maps of local biking trails. They made me feel quite safe as a solo female traveler.

The only thing that could be improved is the shower which took a minute to heat up and had moderate pressure. However I understand a remodel is ongoing and nevertheless hot water was very much appreciated after a rainy day hike.

The staff at the Great House Motel was really what made our stay. They keep the rooms clean which is so important. Also, the owners and staff were friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. We had to cut our trip short and they just took care of it for us. If your are looking for a comfortable and clean room surrounded by friendly staff--this will work for you. Have a comfortable sleep and then get busy with hiking, boating, or sightseeing!

You know if you change too much it won't be the the old-school motel with great value. The room is small--but hey--it's clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again and look forward to being treated very well.

Actual bed cover/blanket instead of those ghastly thin blankets that are everywhere now. Place is dated but has everything you could wish for. Bed was comfy and shower fine. The owner was very pleasant. The room had heat, had air con, Fridge Freezer (Midea - surprisingly quiet - normally I have to unplug because of the noise but not with this one), TV and a cute little table and two chairs to actually eat at properly. Very impressed for the price and would definitely stay there again. It was also very quiet which was a surprise.

Parking is tight for a long vehicle. The room is small with many objects so it feels a bit crowded but then I used all such objects and would not have wished for them not to be there!

This place had character. The staff, more than anything, made my stay incredible. They go the extra mile in every way; the room was comfy and adequate and updated. The location was great too. I will definitely be back!

There was really nothing that I did not like; they exceeded my expectations in every way. The parking lot is a bit tight for getting in and out, but that's the older design I suppose.

Room was nice size

The floor was dirty, black feet, shower curtain was filthy. No windows to open for extra air in room.

I like that the beds were not concaved in the middle. They were pretty comfortable. I also loved that they have a han held shower head which really helps with limited mobility..

The coffee pot could have been bigger, since it is set up to accommodate 4 people. The little Styrofoam cups are not too healthy.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were endless choices of channels on the television. The breakfast was quite extensive with something for everyone.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Better furnished than many chain motels, including a table and a not-tiny refrigerator, with a separate freezer. Chairs and table in front of room had a view of Olympic Mtns. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Though no daily cleaning, like most places now, they were ready to provide anything you needed.

The bed was super comfortable and I had best sleep score in years (59 minutes deep sleep). The room was inexpensive and dated but had many comforts such as a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hairdryer.
