I liked all the special touches, soaps, Kleenex, hairdryer, lotions, etc. it felt very clean, even for a “dog” room. Staff was very likeable. Great potty area.

For me, standing 6’, I find I’m getting a little frustrated when the toilets are low. My one recommendation would be to replace over time with a taller toilet. I don’t like to take a handicapped room from someone with special needs, but it does aggravate my knees which typically,and fortunately, don’t give me problems when I’m not dealing with shorter toilets. I realize this is specific to me.

The room had simple beauty and a cozy cabin-like appearance and feel to it.

As a woman traveling alone, I would have liked a more secure look to the door, such as a double-lock. At the back of the room was a small size window which did lock, but didn't appear strong enough to withstand an attempt at entry from outside. So a bar or other object preventing entry would've given a more secure appearance.

It’s not a 5star resort but it’s a great location, quiet, really home-y room, very friendly staff, really good value for what you get. And AC!!!! I stayed here while visiting Olympic ntl park, originally wanted to stay in port Angeles but chose Sequim because it was cheaper —- honestly very glad I did. It’s such a cute little town.

Shower curtain is a little yellow/frayed, needs to be replaced with a fresh new one.

The hotel is a little worn however, our room was exceptionally clean. Beds were great, towels and bedding super clean and fresh and most of all the place was exceptionally quiet. The microwave, coffee maker were new and the coffee top notch The shower was fantastic with unlimited hot water and amazing pressure. We could tell the owners considered the comfort of their customers a top priority. If you are not fussy with appearances, you're in for a treat and likely a wonderful night's sleep.

Can't improve on perfect.

Staff was amazing, rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable and great location. The rooms are very vintage and makes you feel you are in a time capsule, but made you feel so comfortable and so welcomed. Every morning they stop by to ask if we needed room service (bedding clean towels, coffe, etc). I will be staying there again. Loved the retro look.

Curtains were blackout curtains which made the room super dark. Maybe a sheen curtains under the blackouts, to have options on lighting.

Staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly and personable, and our sizeable room was cleaned daily. There were toiletries, a tea/coffee maker, microwave, and fridge; the AC was quieter than in most places, and we had windows on two sides of the room. There is even a laundry room (includes an ice machine) for the guests on the property. Restaurants and stores are in easy walking distance.

The furnishing looked a bit dated, but was okay. The bathroom was pretty small, and our necks somehow didn't like the pillows.

Quick access to your room. We were on ground (or 1st) floor and parked right infront of the room. We had some heavy suitcases as we were travelling for 2-3 wks. It was convenient to lug them out of the car and into the room. Also very convenient if you are looking for a grocery store near by. There are also fast food restaurants just next to it.

Breakfast would have been good. It is not offered.

The room was clean and tidy and included a microwave and refrigerator. The room was quiet and heavy blackout curtains helped insulate against road noise and blocked the light from the street and nearby businesses. Great shower and bed.

The outlets on the light fixture above the bed didn’t work and it was difficult to reach the outlet between the wall and mattress.

Check in staff was lovely and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely a quirky spot, not a cookie-cutter motel experience. Within walking distance of the grocery store and shops. Would stay again for sure.

It took us a hot minute to figure out how to turn on the heat. For the record, you have to take the heater remote off the wall and actually point it at the unit over the counter. Just pushing the buttons won't do it. :)

The room was as advertised: very clean and very comfortable. It was definitely dated and this isn't a five star hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be; it is what it is, which is a clean, comfortable home for the night for a very good price. The front desk staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming! The location was also fine for someone just passing through; on a main street, with restaurants and other services close at hand.
