The owner! She was absolutely the best. Super kind, helped us shape both of our trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre in the best possible way. We saw so much we did not initially plan. Also, she gave us a better room because it was available. And the day after we checked out, we had left our car in a parking lot on the train station and spent the whole day in Cinque Terre. We came back late, the parking was locked and we could not get our car out. She helped us out by calling people she knew and when that didn’t work, she offered to accommodate us for one more night free of charge. At the end we managed to get our car out, but we will forever remember her kindness and generosity.

It was the first hotel we stayed at where each room has an assigned table which is used for each meal in their restaurant. It wasn’t a problem, just something we found to be unusual.

- most friendly welcome we have ever received at a hotel - amazing level of service by all the staff - many personal touches, very homely feel, with many lovely areas to sit - amazing food and very flexible, catering to any of our needs - despite on the small side, modern and very comfortable bedrooms with a nice balcony (beautiful views on mountain and sea side). - great place to start exploring Cinque Terre (although I would recommend avoiding high season like we did, because it gets extremely busy). We parked our car at Moneglia train station (about 10 € for the day), took a train to Monterosso and took the ferry from there.

Location, location, location, ok not Portofino or the Cinque Terre but it’s overlooking the town and sea or an equally beautiful mountain scene from the other side. The rooms are mostly large, well decorated and furnished, bathrooms top class. Food and bar was excellent and the Italian buffet breakfast very good. Staff were all attentive, competent and very helpful.

Being very picky here, but the road to the hotel is not going to suit every driver. The parking is across the road.

One of the best stay on our many European journeys. Food amazing and very relaxing family oriented atmosphere. Lidia and her team did a fantastic job. Hotel la Vigna is highly recommended for everybody seeking a great vacation. Cinque Terre and Portofino are nearby to visit.

The property is lovely. The staff are very kind and considerate. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bed is perfect, the shower was fabulous! The dining room room offers delicious dinners and is very well run.

It’s a bit far from the beach but there is transportation to and from the beach area.

The hotel is run by a family which is the nicest family I have ever met in Italy. The service offered for this 3 star hotel is just perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Nice breakfast. Stuff very helpful with everything you need. Unfortunately, we stayed too short to enjoy more of the hotel (like the pool and the restaurant).

We booked a room with a view, but since there was a mees up with the reservations, we could not get a room in the hotel itself, but in a close by apartment, directly over the street (which was also great).

Very nice hotel, with a wonderful view towards the sea. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and well renovated. Personnel is top and friendly. And last but not least: restaurant is very good and cheap. Highly recommended.

Nothing. The location is a bit far from the motorway but the mountain road to reach the hotel is lovely.

We had the best 5 exceptional days at La Vigna! We were a group of 14 people and we felt like home, everything requested was possible, they are all beautiful people. I would give 5* for the food and the service in the restaurant! Ricardo makes the best deserts! Thank you Lidia, Victoria, and special thanks to Giuseppe, Alessio, Elena and all other staff ( sorry for not remembering all names) that made our stay so special.

The hotel is located outside the town. The road to get there is very narrow and albeit scary for non locals
