The owner! She was absolutely the best. Super kind, helped us shape both of our trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre in the best possible way. We saw so much we did not initially plan. Also, she gave us a better room because it was available. And the day after we checked out, we had left our car in a parking lot on the train station and spent the whole day in Cinque Terre. We came back late, the parking was locked and we could not get our car out. She helped us out by calling people she knew and when that didn’t work, she offered to accommodate us for one more night free of charge. At the end we managed to get our car out, but we will forever remember her kindness and generosity.

It was the first hotel we stayed at where each room has an assigned table which is used for each meal in their restaurant. It wasn’t a problem, just something we found to be unusual.

- most friendly welcome we have ever received at a hotel - amazing level of service by all the staff - many personal touches, very homely feel, with many lovely areas to sit - amazing food and very flexible, catering to any of our needs - despite on the small side, modern and very comfortable bedrooms with a nice balcony (beautiful views on mountain and sea side). - great place to start exploring Cinque Terre (although I would recommend avoiding high season like we did, because it gets extremely busy). We parked our car at Moneglia train station (about 10 € for the day), took a train to Monterosso and took the ferry from there.

The hotel is run by a family which is the nicest family I have ever met in Italy. The service offered for this 3 star hotel is just perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Nice breakfast. Stuff very helpful with everything you need. Unfortunately, we stayed too short to enjoy more of the hotel (like the pool and the restaurant).

We booked a room with a view, but since there was a mees up with the reservations, we could not get a room in the hotel itself, but in a close by apartment, directly over the street (which was also great).

We had the best 5 exceptional days at La Vigna! We were a group of 14 people and we felt like home, everything requested was possible, they are all beautiful people. I would give 5* for the food and the service in the restaurant! Ricardo makes the best deserts! Thank you Lidia, Victoria, and special thanks to Giuseppe, Alessio, Elena and all other staff ( sorry for not remembering all names) that made our stay so special.

Very nice hotel, with a wonderful view towards the sea. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and well renovated. Personnel is top and friendly. And last but not least: restaurant is very good and cheap. Highly recommended.

Nothing. The location is a bit far from the motorway but the mountain road to reach the hotel is lovely.

Genuinely welcoming and warmest hosts always ready to provide very useful information; breakfast room with large windows and wonderful view; lovely garden area with secluded swimming pool; really good cuisine and helpful staff.

A welcoming family run hotel in the hills behind Moneglia with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy hotel with good rooms that have sea or mountain views. There is a pool, ample free car parking and a popular on onsite restaturant with a good menu and reasonably priced, which is a bonus as the hotel is a car drive away from Moneglia if you want to eat out. Breakfast good and plentiful.

The staff were very helpful & friendly,fabulous. We saw them being very attentive with people leaving.The warmth of the place was very humbling.The food in the restaurant was incredible.We totally loved our stay.

Wonderful location with fantastic views out to sea. Staff were super friendly the rooms were modern, plenty of space and perfect for our stopover for one night. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had was outstanding
