I was impressed by the friendly welcome to the premises. The quickness of the registration and room key allocation and information provided about the facilities upon arrival. The room was very spacious and comfortable. What was most enjoyable was the quiet. It was very peaceful. Apart from hearing the odd door closing, other visitors respected peace and seemed to adhere to being mindful of other visitors comfort. When I left, again, there was a friendly goodbye and 'hope to see you again'. They knew my name and took the time to not only meet and greet you, but to say a fond farewell. Each visitor seemed to receive the same courtesy which was lovely to see. The facilities were very good but unfortunately I didn't have time to spend in the bar or to have a lovely meal in their lovely restaurant. I will be visiting again and will most certainly make the time to enjoy both.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. The only thing I would have really enjoyed is to have breakfast. I couldn't see an option on my booking to have breakfast with my stay. I didn't actually ask but I know that this would add a lot of value to a stay at this hotel. So, next time, I will ask. Please include a breakfast - even if it is an option for room service, it would be lovely.

Our stay was actually really really good, the inn ticked all the boxes we were looking for. To begin with it was VERY clean, probably one of the cleanest I have ever seen. Then the room was sizeable, the bed was comfy, the shower worked well, you had several lights to get the level of brightness or dimness you wanted, and the room was well equipped with furniture and services. The area is quiet and surrounded by green, and the parking is included. Also, there's a pub and a restaurant in the same structure. The location was ideal for our needs, as it's between Cambridge and London.

the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel very comfortable , Our room was spacious and clean,  The bed was very  comfortable and i absolutely love blackout shutter over the window it  ensured a perfect night's sleep Bonus free parking!! We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant called nirvana it's fine Indian dinning was delicious i absolutely loved the menu and the  service. Was exceptional We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and eating at the restaurant, can't wait to return.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with all necessary facilities, hairdryer tea/coffee, washing products etc. Excellent value for money

Only drawback for me was accessibility. I struggle a little with stairs and steps and there were lots of small steps, even on the ground floor There were disabled parking spaces but then steps into the hotel! I did manage these slowly. I would still stay here again as it was excellent value for.money.

Stayed the night before a funeral at the crematorium which was a 5 minute drive so very convenient. Had everything we needed for a night's stopover, room had all expected facilities, biscuits with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo and shower gel provided and curtains were blackout.

Decor a little tired, few quirks like bathroom handle upside down and toilet flush required a knack but no real issue.

I had planned to go out for an evening meal, however when I arrived I discovered that the hotel had an Indian restaurant on-site. So I decided to save a journey & eat in! WOW, what a treat - the food was quite superb, very tasty & quite different form the norm - it transpired that the chef was Indian not from Bangladesh - as a result the flavours were very different. Breakfast was absolutely what was needed to set me up for a day at Knebworth.

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Evening meal (curry) was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Good location for working in Stevenage. Quiet room, even though close to a road. Parking available, and free of charge.

Room was a bit tired, fitted out with furniture which is quite dated now. Overall the property could do with updating.

Staff were great, I had a small issue in my room and they sorted it immediately for me. The beds were really comfy, and the bedrooms and en-suite were clean. The rooms are not modern, but for the price they are really good value.

The rooms were hot, I couldn’t get the radiator valve to turn off, and if you are on the ground floor you couldn’t leave the windows open all night as someone could get in. Not a problem if you are on the upper floors though.

Although a little dated, it was clean and comfortable. All the staff we spoke to were very polite and helpful. Very friendly team. We were going to a local party so needed a base. There was tea and coffee in room. We had a drink at bar but didn't use restaurant. For the price it was absolutely fine.

No air con, but not the end of the world.

Guy at reception desk at check in was super friendly. Room was quiet, quite big and had everything in it you need. Shower was good and they provided big towels, such a nice touch. Big, comfortable bed, 2 seater sofa, table, desk... couldn't ask for more, thank you.

Maybe an electric socket near the bed would have been nice.
