The staff were lovely and really helpful. I wasn't happy with the location of my first room and they moved us immediately to a more suitable one. The breakfast was also really good, lots of choice and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and I was impressed that my bed was made up every day, bins emptied and clean towels provided.
The rooms were a little tired. The hairdryer and some of the lights didn't work. There were also alot of suspicious lookkng stains on the carpet! Also we were only given 2 cups and 2 glasses despite there being 3 of us and we only got teabags and coffee provided in the room on the first day, it wasn't replenished after that

I thought it was clean and the room was well layed out for a family of 4. The staff were pleasent, the breakfast was great.
At breakfast both ourselves and many other guests noticed a guest keep shouting, hitting the window, throwing he's shoes about. He seemed to calm down when he realised a bottle of wine was still in his bag as he kept pulling that out. Our issue was, kids were present, we noticed a pregnant women. He's shoes actually hit a guest and nothing was done. When we mentioned this on checking out, "Ahh yes. The guy by the window we'll see to him" so they were fully aware and didn't action it. Slightly disappointed, as he had been there for a few hours. Bar this I wouldnt have had anything to say, it was brilliant value for money.

Location was brilliant-we travelled by train, so very convenient. Also close to shops and good restaurants a short walk away. Liked that you could get food, albeit a limited choice, and a drink at the hotel at any time. Ambience in lounge area was good and staff very attentive , polite and friendly. Room and ensuite also very good - comfortable with all needs met. We loved ourr stay, but one thing let it down......
........THE BED WAS TOO SMALL.!!!!! It was a double and definitely not big enough for my partner and I to sleep without one of us being at the very edge of the bed or not have any covers. We definitely did not get a good night's sleep. For us and probably others too, a few rooms offering a king or even super- king (2 singles zipped together) would be the icing on the cake., Please don't suggest we book 2 singles. The actual mattress and bedding are not in question - they were good - it's just the size, that is,.

Great buffet style breakfast, plenty of choice, room was comfortable but not much clothes storage space, especially if staying for more than a few days. Otherwise all good.
I stayed over a weekend and would have stayed Monday & Tuesday but the room price skyrocketed for the 2 extra nights as, I was told, Monday & Tuesday are the 2 busiest days for business people. Way over my budget. Having lived in Thailand for 18 years the cost of living in the UK came as a shock, but that's not a criticism of the hotel.

The room was a good size with a small sofa next to the bed. Very clean throughout. It was also very quiet in the room. The bed itself was really comfortable and there was a choice of firm and soft pillows. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but nice (and included at no extra cost). The staff were accommodating for vegetarian options but there were loads of other breakfast choices too.
The shower had really low pressure which was disappointing. Also our room was on the lower ground floor and only one lift went down - there were no clear signs for stairs anywhere which meant we had to wait quite some time for a lift every time we wanted to go up or down. If we stayed longer we definitely would have asked where the stairs are but having some signs would be helpful too.

Situated in a housing complex area. Library opposite. Shopping centre next door. Flats all around. My room view looked out over the GP and Library. Convenient for the parking site....2mins walk. And the shopping centre 2 mins again.......easy to grab a takeaway for dinner. Excellent if you just need a simple base in the area. I needed a quiet place to work. Despite being in such a built up area the insulation was great.....once you closed the window you heard nothing. Thick blind out curtains cut off all light for a comfortable night's sleep and the room was very clean.
Breakfast was so-so. Good range of options...just no flavour. Couldn't taste anything from the eggs or sausages. But it's a 3 star hotel, can't expect luxury food. There were several energy saving LED side lights in the room....no main overhead ceiling light though, so it felt a bit dim at night. If your expectations are of a 3 star hotel, then for the price, this is excellent value. Very clean and comfortable. Good strong WiFi. All the necessities. Cleaning staff deserve a raise.

Everything went well. Breakfast very copious with many choices. Bedroom a little too dark: the main light is not in the centre of the room. The bedroom and bathroom are well provided. I liKe the soap and shampoo distributeurs : just pressing on the top. I cannot remember having similar and so practical in otherhotels
I am not a difficult person. All was satisfactory. The ceiling light was too much in a corner and therefore I found the room slightly too dark but that is just a little detail

Breakfast was okay, ran out of supplies fairly quickly, staff were very hepful
The restaurant was an absolute disaster, we were warned that several things on the new menu were not available , thje wait time was totally unacceptable, we were a party of10, the first two meas arrived after about an hours wait, one was right the other not, and so it continued meal by meal, some not very warm, some wrong an absolute disaster, really we should havehad a refund. We sat that table at 6:45 and left at 9:30 pm

Great location for travelling up north. Clean, quiet. A good night's sleep was needed and I got it! Near good amenities.
By mistake I booked the travelodge north bound. 2 Travelodge inn's on the A14 in Kettering so obviously I booked the wrong one. The call centre wasn't able to change my booking so I called the other hotel to see if they could amend my booking. They couldn't and the premium number cost me a fiver! In the end the location was fine, just a couple of miles to detour. Room a little chilly despite having my own heater but manageable.

It's a nice central location, staff were very friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness of the hotel. (You could have told me it was finished being built a couple months prior to my visit and I could believe it)
The bedroom windows only open about 2-3 inches which was not ideal in warm/hot weather. The mains sockets seemed to be focused on the opposite side of the room from the bed (USB-A sockets were provided by the bed) but unfortunately I had a USB-C to USB- C cable which meant I needed the wall socket (so maybe look as updating the USB socket to a hybrid socket or a USB-A and USB-C outlet
