The property is very close to the station (5 minutes on foot) and to the main streets of Letchworth, with the main gardens just a short walk away. Shops and restaurants are reachable in a few minutes, and it makes an excellent starting point for longer walks to explore the city’s history. The building retains its original charm: old and elegant. The interiors and furnishings tastefully reflect the period of construction, avoiding the cold and impersonal feel of modern decor. The staff has always been kind and attentive. Breakfast is good and dinner is excellent.

Tourist attractions in the city are now almost nonexistent, with only a small museum remaining. It would be nice if the staff, upon the guest’s arrival, offered suggestions on what to see in the city, perhaps providing a map: the history is fascinating, and it’s a shame it isn’t better highlighted.

The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent, we ate an evening meal in the restaurant, the chicken and tarragon pie was delicious! A lovely full English breakfast buffet, plus continental options, were available in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There was a wedding on site, so parking was difficult. The room had a coffee pod machine which didn't work, but there was a kettle, and coffee/ tea making items, however, the tv had to be unplugged in order to use the kettle! The toilet wasn't the easiest to flush, and the water in the toilet was disconcerting colour! None of this distracted from the positives of the hotel, and we would stay again if we were in the area.

The hotel is situated close to the town centre and railway with a large free car park. The room was clean and comfortable with a couple of usb charging points and had little extras like a coffee machine and hot chocolate. It is a 60’s hotel with older furnishings some of which are a bit dated but these just added to the character. The bath was huge with oodles of (very) hot water. We ate in the restaurant where the food was good and the staff pleasant. Overall it was excellent value for money and included breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The bedroom was very comfortable, with tea & coffee making facilities. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were excellent. The food menu was also varied and we enjoyed the meals we ordered. Good car parking. Near to the train station, for visiting family and London.

The bathroom was on suite and very clean. But for me getting into and out of the over bath shower was awkward. Walk in showers only in single room's. I managed with my husbands help, but consider, older and small guests please.

We only stayed one night but from what we saw it was very good. We have never been to Letchworth itself but have driven past it many times. It was one of the first garden cities created in England and is a very charming town with some lovely original buildings including the Broadway Hotel which we thought was very impressive. We never had an evening meal at the hotel but the menu looked very good. We did however have breakfast from an extensive menu that was included in the price for hotel guests. When we next have an overnight stay in the area which will definitely be staying at the Broadway. If you do decide to give the Broadway a try you must go to your room in the lift. It was really novel and must try experience.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we found a lovely Italian restaurant a three minute walk from the hotel. The buffet breakfast wasn't available as it was January and there were not many people staying at the hotel so I ordered the full English from the breakfast menu and it was delicious. Also had cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast etc available to help yourself. Plenty of free parking at the hotel.

The traffic noise during the night but it was only because I am not used to traffic noise as I live in a cul de sac.

The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. Excellent location to explore Letchworth Garden City.

The lift was out of order. We were on the 3rd floor. It may be difficult to negotiate the steps for older customers. There was no other way to get to the rooms. The shower was either cold or scorchingly hot so couldn't be used. I would not book a standard twin bed room in this hotel again. Maybe the double rooms on the first and second floors are better value for money.

Theres nothing to dislike at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great in town centre with free parking. Short walk from Norton Common park, with black squirrels in abundance. Not ever seen a black one before, so new experience to add to my stay. My room was clean with plenty of condiments and had a bath, with plenty of hot water, something you dont find often. Breakfast was included, small breakfast menu plus continental table, catered for everyone'. Morrisons is just next door if anything was needed.

I found nothing to dislike at this hotel.

B eing woken up by a delivery truck delivering to the hotel at 5 am outside my bedroom window. I know deliveries need to be made, but a refrigerated truck left running outside your window with tail-lift up and down and crashing around with a pallet truck at that time of the morning was uncalled for Then breakfast. I was there at 7am, placed my order at 7.25 I asked where it was because I was pushed for time to be told it's in its way now. A few minutes later a staff member came up and asked what it was I ordered because they had forgotten. I was offered a bacon and egg sandwich instead for speed. Was not happy. I stay there for convenience, and I don't want to look elsewhere, but if issues continue, I may have to.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bar/eating area was lovely. Lunch was great and so was breakfast! The room was basic, but the beds were comfortable and the fan was welcome. The hotel is near the train station & taxi rank, so we could leave the car in the car park and get a taxi/train to the gig at Hitchin Priory.

The room was at the front of the building, so there was some external noise. It didn't bother us as we were late to sleep anyway.
