Deluxe double room had an incredible modern bathroom that was the same size as the room with beautiful finishes and although property is situated next to highway it is well insulated so there is no noise from traffic that is passing by . It is a very authentic and unique Tudor style house with a lovely function room for special occasions

The room itself is spotless, staff friendly
When we pulled onto the car park I was horrified, it looked derelict, a huge skip with a mattress on the floor, I could see that St some point this had been a beautiful place mat a guess another hospitality business destroyed by Covid However once we entered there was a sign apologising for the renovation work and we were taken to our room, it was small but immaculate the bed was small but comfortable and again immaculate. All in all if you're looking for a budget stay close to Luton Airport and Stevenage it's ideal Also had large flat screen TV with Netflix etc available, WiFi brilliant speed and free to access At only £50 a night and it's location you can't grumble really

Room appeared exactly as advertised. Rooms were clean and well looked after. Bathroom looked very new, l assumed just got renovated.
Suggest the Lodge should introduce the use handset phones in the rooms, so that we do not have to go to the reception everytime we need to make a request.

The Hotel is right on the A1 with direct access via the northbound lane and easy access (5 minutes) via the southbound lane. A very nicele refurbished and decorated classic building providing an amazing and refreshing atmosphere. Also a magical place for small weddings or events which may require accommodation for your honoured guests. The rooms and ensuite bathrooms are decorated with actual marble throughout which adds tremendously to the aesthetics, comfort and functionality of the rooms (no dirty carpets or cheap plastic tapestry). We'll heated and air-conditioned for the summer days. The rooms provide this luxury feeling and comfort you wished you could find in all hotels. Still needs a bit of finishing off work on some corners but this barely affects the experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Ample parking at the front and on the side.
Bathroom, marble tiled floor, heating, environment decoration.

Very friendly welcome on arrival from the staff Love the revamp moden Indian setting in the court yard . Very pretty looking at night with the lights. Lots of parking space for your vehicle. The staff were very helpful when you needed them to sort out things in the room like the heating 👌. If you like a old tudor style building to stay inn with a difference this is a place to stay . I stayed in the colder months but i bet it more lovely in the summer months . The entrance to the tudor hall looks run down but they are revamping the place inside to out side .its nice to see a old building being used still and ideal for short stays . Near to lots of activities and places to see 👀 hitchin town is lovely place to visit linked to tudor town experience too. Letchworth garden city has lots of history to the first road island in England is their first to be built. The Tudor oak lodge is a great place to stay with a difference to other places i have stayed inn. Hatfield house and stevenage town centre.
The only problem with the bath room was the shower the water was too hot no cold water flow in the system it seemed. I reported this . The turning off the A1 you have to be careful from the busy road. The buliding entrance needs a name sign to be seen when you first turn into Taylor road . The gates to the car park can be missed .

Me and my partner had a great 2 night stay, surprisingly quiet considering it's close to the A1 slept really well wasn't woken up by the traffic atal. Really friendly hotel manager offered to carry our bags to our room. The room was clean and cosy, modern bathroom with a lovely walk in rain head shower, bed very comfy. All rooms are situated around a very pretty courtyard all with there own front door.
Being without a car getting too and away from the hotel was a pain and only having a garage within walking distance for food etc was expensive. Saying that it would not stop me from going back.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff were genuinely welcoming and generously upgraded our room for free, which was a pleasant surprise. Our upgraded room was tastefully decorated and featured a luxurious bath and shower, adding a touch of indulgence to our stay. Throughout our visit, the staff provided attentive service without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Neat, clean, comfortable, spacious....
Limited heating in room. Despite the fact that electric wall heater worked all night long but room remain cold because of air leakage from door and crevices.
