Room was clean and tidy, plenty of room for baggage storage. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately no breakfast available, however, had read previous reviews and brought my own! Provision of electric kettle made this very easy for instant porridge. There is a Tesco Express at the Esso garage at the next roundabout at Sheffold on the A507 to the west.

The access to the car park from the A507 at the roundabout was easy, but beware, the road was busy at 9am and not so easy to return to, partly because the road authorities had allowed the grass to overgrow at the corner where the A600 meets the A507 at the roundabout making oncoming traffic difficult to see at the last minute.

Friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate us at short notice with our two pugs! Lovely restaurant within the building, easily accessible location with free parking and nice and quiet considering it’s not too far from a main road.

Lots of comments on here about the property looking a bit tired - but you can see from the photos how the rooms look before you stay, so to leave a poor review for this is unfair! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean - for the price it’s great value for money and we’ll definitely stay here again.

slight problem with shower that Dan sorted straight away. He was very helpful and always spoke to us when we saw him. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel as it was our sons birthday and the staff there were amazing. We will stay here again if in that area.

No facilities for breakfast but that's not major as there are places within short driving distance.

The staff were really nice and and helpful. Marlon went out of his way to make sure I was comfy. Resolved the heating problem quite swiftly and another staff member sorted out issues with the kettle

Parking could be tricky

In room 22, We would have prefered a room on the left hand side could hear traffic tooting on the roundabout/ back of hotel, and not next to flight of stairs. The plumbing we could hear other people flushing their toilets etc from above and could hear people talking and tv in the next room. ( walls pretty thin). Only could get bbc1 on the TV, had to ask for 2 more pillows and another bath towel, and glasses to drink water out of. The kettle took ages to boil, as I had a shower, got dressed etc before being able to make ourselves tea/ coffee. Only one bedside table not 2.

You have to remember the price that you are paying, and for this you get a very clean en-suite room, tea & coffee, tv. Super friendly staff, loads of parking and right next to a roundabout that leads to all the main towns in the area (remarkably no road noise). Better still you get a fantastic authentic Turkish restaurant with great food and service. Best VFM you could ever ask for. At the moment there is no breakfast however this is well advertised and loads of places near by.

Nothing, knew where I was going as I have been several times before

Very noisy next room for two days I stopped there not much sleep. Restaurant excellent but it spoiled it with people next room I was in 26 next to me 28 terrible

I have stayed before and the accommodation and as before very clean and tidy with excellent staff. Many thanks and when back working nearby I will not hesitate to book this very comfortable property.

Loved the good size of the room, and the bed was comfortable. Soft sheets and towels too.

Just some occasional loud conversations/laughter heard around 10pm (as falling asleep), think coming from the restaurant below.

The location was perfect for me and my 3 kids. The staff were very very helpful....I had 3 very young kids by myself and they couldn't have offered me anymore help with carrying things and holding doors etc.

Room was clean, all I'd say is its a little tired.
