The Luton Hoo is a gem of a mansion house hotel with luxurious, magical and authentic period interiors. The grounds are large, lush and filled with beautiful wildlife (deer, pheasants, birds) - it's an absolute delight to take a long walk at any time of day. Overall, this is a remarkable venue and I highly recommend it. Perhaps the best place to stay in Bedfordshire.

Location wise, it was very convenient for me because it's a 10 minute cab ride from the train station (with a direct link into King's Cross) and a 10 minute cab ride from the office of my company. It may not be the most convenient for business travel otherwise. The hotel is in a good condition but it could do with a refresh of carpets. They have decided to do a major refurbishment starting this autumn.

I just love Luton Hoo. I have stayed a couple of times on my own now for for some R&R. The staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and the comfiest beds and pillows! The spa is great and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. Sometimes things can be a little slow but well worth the wait. If you stay at Luton Hoo, everything is peaceful, relaxed and time slows down. Just relax and enjoy it. Such a stunning place be.. I love it here.

This was the second time I've stayed and the TV in my room didn't work.... luckily I had my laptop but. ..it would be nice to watch something in the evening and morning when enjoying the lovely room.

Every aspect of our experience was truly remarkable, thanks to the impeccable service and dedication of your staff. A special mention goes to Mr. David and Mr. João, whose professionalism and attentiveness made our visit seamless. They briefed us on the hotel's excellent facilities, provided physical transportation to the tennis court, and assisted with charging our electric vehicle, which was deeply appreciated. Their commitment to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for their efforts.

Room comfort, setting, staff were kind. The setting is wonderful, glorious trees. Very peaceful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The selection of teas and coffees was excellent, including the coffee machine. The temperature of the room was great, and it was spotless.

Providing no room service is a real problem for disabled people and presumably parents of young children. It took us a long time to find your menu, and then to be told you don't provide room service was a real negative. The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. Would it be feasible to use non slip floor tiles or have a boundary to keep the shower water confined? Some sound proofing would be wonderful if possible.

Hotel is located on beautiful and spacious grounds, great for a stroll. Staff were friendly and welcoming and they offer a chauffer service between the Mansion House and Country Club. Breakfast was varied (including a freshly cooked dish) and served in the Wernher Restaurant. Great small touches such as the welcome chocolates in the room. Room was very spacious.

There was a smell in one of the twin room bathrooms. We had pre-booked a massage but on the day it was cancelled due to staff sickness, which was disappointing as I would think there would be a back up/contingency should such an event occur.

My stay at Luton Hoo was amazing. The site is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The scenery is very well kept and the main house and rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating at all times. I will definitely be returning!

I noticed a few minor details worth mentioning. In the corridor by the rooms, some of the wallpaper was peeling. Additionally, a few of the steps were damaged and had red cones placed around them, as well as by the spa area, which slightly affected the overall aesthetic. While these were small issues, they were noticeable - not enough of a problem to stop me from going back!

Beautiful historic property set in amazing grounds.

The service and attentiveness of a lot of the staff was really poor. There are lots of people employed but the majority of them just walk around looking busy but don’t come over to see if you want anything, clean plates away etc. On a number of occasions we had to stop staff and asked for things like top ups of water, which they said yes to, then didn’t come back. Also topped up three glasses before the water ran out, then didn’t come back to top up our 4th guests glass. Reception staff were really good, friendly and helpful, as were staff at breakfast, but the lounge and Saturday night dinner staff were really poor considering how expensive the food and drink is. Staff need more training, but even the head of the restaurant was poor.

The perfect location, the place with a great history and lots of historical artefacts. Fine dining. Excellent breakfast, restaurant and service. We enjoyed it much. Celebrating our dating anniversary. A pool and a spa were just for two of us. Looking forward to visiting again after reconstruction.

A spa/pool zone was not maintained and clean as usual. There were no shampoo/lotion/conditioner in the showers and unpleasant smell in a steam room (usually it is fir tree aroma). One of the sauna / saunette rooms didn’t work.

The building is beautiful and has a very interesting history. The spa area is 5 minutes walk from the main hotel, so we had a room near the spa area, which has an excellent pool , sauna etc. However this meant walking over for breakfast, although we could have asked for the shuttle to take us there. The breakfast was very good with many options and more than I could eat. All the staff were extermely helpfull and well trained.

The temperature control in our room was broken so the staff immediately provided us with 2 stand-alone heaters, but then there was no regulation of the temperature, which became hot during the night.

We had a lovely relaxing stay for a special occasion. We were showed to our room, which was very large and clean. It was in the basement. We then went to the spa, which was very relaxing and not too busy at all. As the room view was not very good we went for a long walk round the beautiful manicured grounds, which were stunning and we saw deers and other wildlife. The buffet breakfast was really well laid out with a very wide choice. The staff were very helpful and polite.
