I stayed in this hotel after getting a late flight back rather than travelling home the same night. I’d stayed in a different hotel at Luton Airport on the flight out and the walls were clearly paper thin and it was so noisy, so I was kind of expecting this hotel to be the same - but it wasn’t! I heard no noise from my room at all, which is just what I wanted. Good choice of breakfast too.

For the amount of time I was there and the services I used, I don’t actually have any criticisms. My room was clean, I didn’t use the airport parking and I didn’t have an evening meal, so I can’t comment on them.

The staff blew me away, SOOOOO IMPRESSED, they were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful! Black out curtains and soundproofing were excellent and meant I could sleep without disruptions. The room had an iron and ironing board, which was usually a comfortable chair. USB electric connections as well as UK 3pin. The towels were soft and bed comfortable. Brilliant location walking distance from the airport and train station, good car parking should you wish to drive. It's super easy to find.

There was not enough space to hand clothes that needed it. The shower didn't have as much water pressure as I would like, but did the job.

The beds were comfy, powerful showers. Closest you can get to Luton airport. Our scheduled flight into Luton doesn’t land till 00:30. The car hire places don’t open past 20:00 with no key pickup option very inconvenient so we had to stay the night in a hotel. Included breakfast was ok. The rooms were well soundproofed we didn’t hear any aircraft noise.

The rooms are extremely small. Just enough room around the bed to walk round even with the sofa bed as a sofa. We had a double and a sofa bed. We didn’t have anywhere to put our 2x suitcases. They just had to go in front of the door and wheel them around when we wanted to get out. The suitcase stand we could only use when the sofa bed wasn’t a bed.

Quick, easy check-in. Clean, comfortable room with everything you need for an overnight: coffee, shampoo etc, and even an iron and ironing board! Good breakfast and takeaway cups for coffee. Despite it being so close to the airport, the rooms were noise free. Had a great night's sleep.

Unfortunately, there was a fault with the a/c in the bedrooms, 😥but there was a fan in the room. We attempted to open the windows, but the smell of airline fuel was too much. The fan, though, was adequate. There is no shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. It is very close and only a short walk but it's uphill and not pleasant if cold, windy or raining which is most days in UK ☺️!

The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was very easy at the time I arrived (early evening). In the room, which was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the floor to ceiling curtains completely blocked out the light. Considering the airport is just on the other side of the road and could be seen from my room on the fifth floor, there was very good sound insulation and I slept very well. Breakfast starts at 04.30 (cold) and 06.30 (hot) and it's included in the price, unlike other hotels on the airport. I walked to the terminal for my flight.

I had an evening meal which was acceptable pub food, but a bit pricey. Food stops at 21.00.

I liked that the hotel is walking distance from the airport and thus close to public transport center. I liked the breakfast.

I didn't like that there's no hot water for tea at the lobby. The Nescafe machines are closed after breakfast but theres no other ways to boil water in the lobby. I didn't like the fact dinner ends relatively early.I made my check in at around 2200-2300 and was hungry from the trip. There were several options but they didn't match my diet (curry and toasties). In general there were no salad options in the restaurant, which is a shame.

I landed at Luton around 21:00 and needed a place close by to just crash. The Holiday Inn Express is less than a 10-minute walk from the airport- you exit the airport and basically walk straight for about 7 minutes until you see the hotel. It’s really important for me to mention that, as a female solo traveler, I felt totally safe and comfortable staying there! The hotel itself had a secure, professional atmosphere that didn’t feel sketchy at all. From what I could tell, it seemed like the other hotel guests were families with kids and professionals traveling for work. The room was equipped with all the standard amenities including some thoughtful touches such as providing both firm and soft pillows. The reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which isn’t necessary but always appreciated. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express for travelers arriving to or departing from Luton at inconvenient hours due to its proximity to the airport and 24-hour reception.

My room was a bit small but I think that’s fine for what it is

Exceptionally kind, friendly, mannerly staff : Katie and Dean. It was a pleasure and a blessing to meet and spoke with. Room was spotless, bed very comfortable, nice view. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items and coffee was more than perfect. Delicious food , ice-cream, refreshing cold lemonade with ice. I have been assisted by Katie to become IHG member and I felt honoured. Great stay , good time , as always . It was not my first stay in your lovely hotel , and as always the standards of comfort are very high. 1 million of stars award !!!!

We needed a place to stay overnight for our early morning flight the next day, and this was perfect. It was an easy 10-minute walk to the airport, which was great. But despite being next to the airport, the rooms were all nice and quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. We were also very impressed by the food from the restaurant that we had for dinner, which had really great vegetarian options. If we need to fly out of Luton again, we'd definitely stay here again.

The shower head was a bit odd and hard to maneuver around, but not the end of the world.

Decent walking distance to the airport (500 meters?) The absolute best aspect of my one-night layover experience at this hotel was the staff; they were just so incredibly pleasant, friendly, attentive, easygoing and accommodating. I felt I could ask them anything. My room was quite comfortable and with good lighting. The lobby area extended into a sort of big lounge with lots of seating and tables for dining. Usually expecting not to eat from a bar menu, I thoroughly enjoyed the gluten-free pizza—what a nice surprise and treat.

Just that the USB jacks in my room didn’t work—none of them that I tried, maybe three/four. Kind of vital while on travel. Also, the music in the lobby lounge area…imho not apropos, as there was top much clubby music, maybe for a younger party demographic. We asked at the desk whether a change was possible and were politely told it was a pre-programmed playlist that couldn’t be changed. Shame; probably some classic, moody jazz or cinema scores, for example, would have a broader appeal and fit into the atmosphere more fittingly.
