Lovely, cosy room with multiple facilities, even a coffee machine. The shower was beyond brilliant and possibly the best I've ever used! The room was comfortable, lots of lighting choices , and the continental breakfast provided was of great quality.Remote controls for aircon, electric window shutters and TV were all present and correct. We stayed on a Sunday eve and the pub was closed when we went to bed;the pub is shut Mondays and Tuesdays , but I do wonder whether on a Fri or Sat night there might be a lot of late night noise from the pub garden-but this is pure speculation.

I was staying for work, just the one night. Loved the place. I’m so jaded from staying here there and everywhere; however when I got to the BH, I just immediately relaxed. Dinner was superb, all the staff are lovely, and the accommodation just off the patio was superb. So comfortable, plenty of little extras. I can’t get over the price, such great value for money. I cannot wait to stay again. K

Consider offering booking online through your website - I’d like for you to take the full amount rather than you having to hand back 20% to b.com in commission. You deserve every penny, the stay was perfect.

Secluded quiet and well equipped… good value for money. Lovely decor very clean lots of modern touches. Plus air con electric blinds on windows. Lovely walk in shower… tv…mini bar and fridge.. Set in lovely gardens… continental breakfast was great… Also outdoor table and chairs… and parking. Would highly recommend.

Lovely room but a bit small if staying longer than a few nights…. as nowhere to sit comfortably apart from the bed (which was very comfortable for sleeping) … perfect for 1 or 2 nights stay…

What a find! We booked this chalet for two days as it was nearest to where we needed to be. The gastro pub it belongs to is excellent, but that would be another review. The chalet itself had everything we could want, including air conditioning on what turned out to be the hottest days of the year. Compact but extremely comfortable, our hosts had thought of everything, including every extra you can think of. The fridge was well stocked for our breakfast the next morning and we couldn't possibly have eaten everything. Fresh milk, a coffee machine, fresh fruit, juices - just perfect. A great night's sleep in a super comfortable bed and we didn't hear anything at all, despite the bar being busy and the chalet next door being occupied. Very much recommended, we'll certainly be returning. Thank you.

Friendly staff. Lovely bar and outside seating. Large car park. Every effort is made to make the location excellent, especially the restaurant.

The bed in the room is very close to the cabinet with the fridge and drinks; it is difficult to move through there. The restaurant tries genuinely to be of a higher standard than it achieves in terms of its food. Having said that, the food is good. The effort to provide great service and a beautiful environment is obvious, and we would recommend the Black Horse in spite of these comments.

Fantastic room - had everything you could want incl: Comfy bed. Great bathroom with shower and heated towel rail. Great coffee machine and real milk in fridge Continental breakfast included, juice, yoghurt, porridge, croissants and muffins Easy to follow instructions provided for anything you needed to know about. Would definitely stay here again NB Restaurant was very busy, and great food so would recommend you book a table in advance if you want.to eat there

All the extras you could want in a well designed compact room, and skylights were great for hot nights! A lovely choice for continental breakfast. Gluten free options were a welcome surprise. Great food in pub too if you wanted it. very popular pub. Made it a great short break.

A little but noisy outside when taking an afternoon siesta - but then it is at a lovely pub and was wonderfully quiet at night and in the morning.

Very clean, old building but well presented with space around the tables in restaurant area. Food excellent and menu varied and different. Chalet very clean, contemporary decoration, stylish and warm, nice twist to have breakfast in room. Equipment instructions for heating. Aircon, etc well thought out and presented. Staff welcoming, courteous and good fun - especially Sara!

Chalet Room was tight for space - especially down left side of bed and to get past unit with fridge and breakfast/coffee station. Bed was comfortable but very high and had to climb on - also for someone with mobility issues like my husband, was a bit of an issue but for our time there was ok.

The property was cosy and had exactly everything we needed. Breakfast in the room was good too and gave us a good start for the day.

Some of the drinking glasses in the room were a little dusty and there were a few cob webs, potentially from if people hadn’t stayed there recently. But nothing we would complain about.

Lovely chalet with 1 room and en suite. Situated adjacent the main pub and restaurant. Continental breakfast included with lots of fresh items in the fridge. Room was modern and very clean, large comfortable bed and shower room.

Was a room was a bit small, but was ok for us. Also the room opened up directly on to the main pub area where people where having drinks nearly out side the door. Could do with a little area in front of the room that was for the guests only. Tbf it was a gorgeous weekend day when we was there and the pub was packed outside, may not be an issue most of the time.
