The location was excellent, close to tourist sites and restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful.The breakfast was really good and the lady serving was excellent, so obliging and happy. There is a lift, which made it so much easy to take our luggage up to our room . It is an older establishment,so the bathrooms and rooms were small and outdated but everything was spotlessly clean.You are out most of the time so this was not an issue. The cost was very reasonable , particularly as breakfast was included.

If you were a bigger person you may have found the shower a little difficult to negotiate.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the cleanliness was excellent (especially compared with most places). The location was excellent, being only 5 minutes walk to the Arena, but free from the noise of traffic and people, and with excellent neighbourhood restaurants, a Pam supermarket and other facilities nearby. A small park opposite gave us some tranquil green space when we wanted it.

The bathroom was a bit small, but perfectly functional.

The location was excellent, 10 minute walk to the train station, and 5 minutes walk to the arena. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Nice continental breakfast which was included in the price. Bed was comfortable after a days exploring. As a solo explorer I felt fine on my own there. Front rooms overlook a small area with trees and a fountain. Buses pass the door practically. It would be noisy at night if you want the windows open but the double glazing is really good, and there's a small air conditioning unit in the room, and when I was there it was exceptionally warm but this did the job.

There was no kettle or tea making facilities in room which would have been lovely, although if you go to reception they will give you this, but if you're settled in your room it's a bit of a pest.

Hotel is very well located. Just a few steps from Piazza Bra, Arena and city center. Rooms are small and facility is a bit older but together it creates "genius loci" of this hotel. Bed was comfy and breakfast is fine - sandwiches, bread, cheese, cake, coffee. If you plan to spend lot of time outside and looking for a hideout only with fine breakfast and friendly stuff then Hotel Sanmicheli is a good choice for a fair price.

There is a huge traffic around the hotel. Especially in the morning. You do not need to set up your alarm as local drivers will take care about awakening. This problem disappears when you close the window.

The staff is so nice; especially the old morning shift receptionist and the lady at breakfast restaurant. A day to Garda lake and monte Baldo is advisable. Bus ticket for 24 hrs is 11 Eur The Tokyo buffet restaurant near the hotel is sldo a good choice. The price for dinner is 26 Eur/person.

The shower is is so tiny. The air con is at wrong location and worked poorly The afternoon shift gave me wrong information about bus ticket to Garda lake and monte Baldo

Great location barely five minutes stroll to the historic Arena. A gem of a hotel run by two gentlemen of Verona, the room smallish but nicely presented with large, comfortable bed, small desk, two chairs, TV, bedside tables and drawers. A tiny en suite, little more than two square metres but with Italian ingenuity and design including shower, loo, basin, hair dryer and radiator. Two ladies of Verona served astonishingly generous continental breakfasts - cerials, fresh fruit, various breads, ham sandwiches, yoghurts, fruit juice and endless coffee.

Nothing, except that we had only two nights there.

The hotel was a short walk away from the train station. It was located very close to everything that we wanted to see. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and will help with skip the line tickets and tours, which we took advantage of. Nescafé coffee in the room and there is a breakfast option (cafe 3 mins away). The building is locked at night after the staff leave at 9:00pm

Super friendly staff, awesome location close to the city center. The room is very clean. Typical Italian breakfast included! All in all great value, especially when you are a solo traveler staying for one or two nights to explore Verona.

Like others mentioned, the noise from the street is considerable. But I had a room facing the street directly. The rooms facing other sides are probably quieter. The staff said the traffic will stop around 12pm, and in fact it did and the noise was gone. The rooms are a bit worn-out, but as I said it's exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

I loved everything! Truly. It was my first stay and I will definitely return! A major delight was the wonderful breakfast served by dedicated ladies who were especially efficient. They clearly care that every guest is welcome and enjoying their meal. I appreciated them very much.

There was not a single thing that did not please me.

Location is perfect; 15 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins to the Arena. Room was clean and comfortable, but quite basic. Breakfast is great, with very nice staff (just like the gentlemen at the reception!).

Bed a bit hard, bathroom a bit small, but no real issues there.
