Fab location, lovely reception staff and good breakfast spread and service. Access to the city was ideal with plenty of choice to eat.

One thing let them down. We wanted our water bottles filled before we left. We asked for this in the breakfast room but were told we can do it in our room. We did explain that we had already checked out but the staff member made us use the carafes on the counter which was difficult. I am reporting this as it was the day manager who was unhelpful. I am sure any other member of staff would have been more accommodating.

Excellent location, only 15 mins from Train Station, it is a single door in between 2 other restaurants so was a bit strange but once you are inside its beautiful. Breakfast was really good, Room was very comfortable and stunning decor was a lovely view and very quiet at night. also kept our bags until we had to catch a later flight that day which was very helpful.

It was probably a once off but we got stuck in the lift on our last morning, and while it was all resolved within 40 mins it felt like more to us, the engineer had to manually move the lift up so that we could climb out. Staff did ask us were we alright but we felt maybe a later check out time would have helped or a stiff complimentary drink!

A small hotel with great character, situated in an old building just 5 minutes’ walk from Pizza Bra. The room was a good size and the bathroom spacious with high quality toiletries; it had been cleaned to a high standard. The staff were excellent: helpful, interested in our stay, and wanting to be sure that we had a good time both in the hotel and in our enjoyment of the city. Breakfast had an extensive range of options to suit all tastes. Recommended.

Because of its size, other than reception, there are no areas that you can enjoy and relax in, e.g. to read a book, and so you are restricted to your room in that regard. It was a warm April and not yet possible to use the air conditioning, which meant uncomfortably warm nights which were not ideal for good sleep. It was not possible to have the window open at night due the noise from the room. The staff did offer to move us to a room at the rear of the hotel, but as our stay was a short one it did not seem worthwhile.

A very nice room in an old building perfectly situated 5 minutes walk to Piazza Bra and colosseum. Room cleaned every day with everything we required. Breakfast had a great choice which more than satisfied us and set us up for the day. Staff were engaging, polite and informative. Position of Hotel was on the main entry into Verona center on a tree lined wide boulevard but our room was very quiet for sleep. We made a great choice for our stay and i recommend this to other guests.

Cannot name anything which was a negative experience for us.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, as last time we chose Verona for a stop on our way to another Italian city. The hotel was perfect for this purpose, close to the train station and to the city center. The rooms are spacious (even the standard ones) and very clean (this time I think I noticed the smell from the door of the room and it pleased me, I am the daughter of my mother after all). Breakfast was better this time, nice croissants and the pancakes were also quite tasty.

We had some trouble this time with the room temperature, the heating was on when we got to our hotel so we thought we turned it off and left the windows open, but when we came back the room was very hot and it took all night to cool it down. We also noticed they fixed the shades and you can no longer close them for a darker room, this was disappointing as my husband really struggles when the room is not dark enough.

Very beautiful room, nice location, nice breakfast.

I should have specified a please do not call my room. They called every morning I was there for things that could wait until afternoon, It disrupted my sleep, as I was in bed when they would call for things that did not warrant a phone call to the room even if it was good intentions, but no other hotel has ever done this. I would have breakfast and fall back asleep due to jet lag and this made it difficult to fully relax…I didn’t see any do not disturb signs to put on the door. If I did I would have put them on.

The Breakfast was amazing. They are so wonderful and courteous there. The location is perfect as it is close to the Piazza and the arena. It is also close to the train station and many other sites. Their restaurant recommendations were great as well. The restaurant Casa Vino they recommended is like going home to family for dinner.

I wish there were more surfaces to place your toiletries in the bathroom. A luggage rack for suitcases would be a nice addition as well.

Really loved this hotel. The entrance was through a huge wooden door from the main street into a courtyard and then lift to reception - the whole place felt quirky and different and perfectly complimented our experience of visiting Verona. We received a very friendly and informative welcome - provided a town map and marked out the places to go and excellent restaurant recommendations. Room was unexpected; chandelier, balcony, swagged curtains, wooden shutters, lots of natural light, very comfortable bed; surprisingly quiet considering it was facing the main road. Bathroom was functional - designed for wheelchair use. Air con worked well. Cleanliness over three night stay was great. Excellent location - ten minutes walk from the train station, ten minutes walk to the Coliseum and twenty five mins taxi ride to airport. Fabulous breakfast buffet with personal, cheerful service and happy atmosphere. Everyone we met spoke fantastic English which we were grateful for.

What a wonderful stay! The hotel room was just like the photos, it was very warm and cosy and lovely. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was vegan croissants available and breakfast and gluten free options too! Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the Arena and easy to access everywhere. Close to the bus station too for Lake Garda trips etc

Another vegan option at breakfast in addition to the croissant would have been great, perhaps a dairy free yoghurt and something savoury like a vegan cheese or some cooked vegetables. We couldn't find the door to access the hotel initially, so maybe a little bit of advise about where it is on your booking information could help (it was very easy to spot once we had found it).

The staff were so helpful, polite and happy. The breakfast was lovely and room was very clean and well maintained.

The room was a bit small but fine for a couple of nights
