We arrived 2 hours before check-in so went to reception to leave our bags while we went for a walk, but we're given our room immediately, so a great start. The unit we were given was a bit tired and definitely needed to be renovated but the location was excellent so we weren't bothered about it. We went straight out exploring for the day and it was only when we got back that afternoon we discovered that neither of the TV's worked. We didn't worry that evening as we went out again, the next morning we reported it on our way out and within 5 minutes the manager phoned me to say we had been upgraded to a new room. The new room was amazing with a beatiful ocean view. The customer service we received was excellent, I can not fault this place at all and would definitely recommend it everyone visiting the island.

We were rather concerned about the 1 bedroomed we had booked as my brother was there the week before and very disappointed with how run down his apartment was. When we arrived we had been upgraded to a 2 bedrooms apartment. This was modern and newly furnished with great ocean view from balcony and pool below. We were very happy after going through a lot of stress and illnesses and able to recuperate naturally relax.

The shower was sheer glass at bedroom end so had to close window blinds for privacy but huge modern shower.

Fantastic location; we were able to walk from the ferry with our luggage in tow. Easy walk to grocery store and restaurants too. The large soaking tub in the bedroom overlooking the Coral Sea was a special treat! Open floor plan with large, well-equipped kitchen and couches. TWO patios overlooking the water.

The elevator that served our section of the building was broken and we had to carry our several suitcases up three flights of stairs - and then down again when we left. It was quite a chore. We would have appreciated some kind of advance notice as we might have changed our mode of travel (either bringing our automobile on the ferry) or finding a place to leave our heavier luggage. I understand that Magnetic Island relies upon workers from the mainland to service their buildings and that we were there over a weekend (arriving on a Saturday evening, departing Monday am.) I gently voiced my concern to the office staff when we departed, but she seemed indifferent to our plight as they had no control over the repair situation. Even so, some kind of notice would have helped us a lot.

The view

One Single bed had feet missing making it uneven, we removed the base and slept on mattress only. The other single bed had the base feet already removed. TV is main bedroom not working Dishwasher not working, kept tripping the circuit breaker A/C dripping in main bedroom Water leak in main bathroom Lack of kitchen utensils ie tongs, vegetable peeler Broken blind in main bedroom, wouldn’t go up No lift working for our entire stay, we were on level 5, so lucky no elderly guests! Some of these issues have been mentioned on your reviews, but obviously not addressed.

Location was absolute ocean front, overlooking infinity pool. Large living areas and balcony. Walking distance to ferry terminal, restaurants and IGA. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, perfect for 2 couples as each had own bathroom and toilet. We had an allocated carpark directly outside our entry door. We reported some maintenance required and that the dryer wasn't working. I believe our apartment is getting a full refurb soon. Staff promptly delivered a new drying rack so we could dry a load of washing on the balcony. Will definitely book this apartment again!

The property was fantastic and very spacious! They views were outstanding and takes your breath away when walking up in the morning. It’s quiet and very clean. The staff was outstanding and were very helpful in anything we needed as it was our first time to the island with our 8 month old son. The pool were great and heated which was so relaxing next to the ocean waters. Rochelle and Belinda were so friendly and even though we had a late check in due to taken the last barge, Rochelle was smiling and ready to check us in with a bottle of wine ❤️😁

The most spectacular views! The pools were amazing, and because there are 4, we had variety. The room was bright, modern, and clean. I loved the sound of the ocean crashing under our apartment. Paradise!

The kitchen was poorly equipped, which made self-catering more challenging than it should have been. Especially for such high-end accommodation. And the dishes could have been cleaner. The slats on my daughters bed fell off. It would be ideal if the inifity pools heated.

The lack of equipment in the kitchen & the quality of what was there. There was no frying pan, the wok & skillet were so overused everything stuck to them. The blinds were broke, the table had a dent in it and it just felt a little unloved and needed some touch ups & felt like it could have been a little cleaner

Absolute fantastic place to stay!! The apartment was spotless had amazing views and facilities for the price. I would definitely come back and would also recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit magnetic island Thanks so much again Kind regards Thomas

We had a great room in a sheltered position near the side (heated) pool with beautiful sea views and a bit of action with the ferries coming and going. Walking distance to supermarket, Thai massage, restaurants and island bus. Great size 2 bedr unit with plenty of space. Good size kitchen. Great bath tub with views in the master bedroom. Covered patio with large table. Another 2 seafront pools (not as sheltered) and a roof top pool, which looked nice, but gate was broken so didn't go in.
