1. YOU GUYS WERE THE ONLY HOTEL TO ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS! A little background: WE went to the Army-Navy game in Landover, took a bunch of cash, and didn't know that Northwest Stadium was a cashless facility. SO, we'd already drained the rest of our debit card accounts (since we took sso much cash out take with us) and had only cash to use every where else. Originally had a booking at Hampton Inn in Harrisonburg, and they did NOT accept cash. SO, they refused us, I hopped on Booking.com and saw that only this hotel had rooms in our range and, after calling them, they were the only ones out of our list THAT ACCEPTED CASH PAYMENTS......And then your staff went even further. We had to stop and pay for gas, food, and extras using cash on our way back that evening, and (after we arrived at 1:30 AM that morning tired and ready for a soft bed) ending up being $1 short for the amount needed for 1 night. As I went back out to the van, got my wife to search her purse for an extra dollar, she found none, and was able to scrounge up a few $$ on her Venmo account, and I brought it back to somehow make a payment with that also. BY then, your host had adjust the price, accepted the cash payment, and handed me a key with the Room Number......I told him I had the money ready if he still wanted it, and he said "I already adjusted the bill so we're good" and for THAT I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL. 2. The next day, we slept in, got out of our room right at 11:00, and the cleaning staff were very good to us also. They knocked on the door at 10:50 with their "housekeeping" intro, I let them know that "we've got almost all of our stuff packed and will be out very soon", and they nice gentleman said, "Yeah, I heard ya'll were the late arrivals so we left you until last." Been bragging about you to all my family and friends for the rest of the day, and I will continue to from now on for the kind & courteous staff you have there.

parking lot was a little cramped with all the crew trucks there and our air unit in room 152 was VERY LOUD.

The waffles were amazing! We really enjoyed being able to get up each morning and have a hot meal!

The older lady that cleaned rooms was very rude to us most of the time! She fussed about how much food we ate and banged on the door everyday morning and woke us up even after we informed her that we cleaned our own room and had our own towels.

My partner and I had never stayed in this area before but we were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed our stay at this nice hotel and we also really liked the location. Booking the room was easy and I was happy because this is the only type of hotel that offers smoking rooms in this area and that is a necessity we like to keep.The rate for the room was fair and under $80 which I loved because I hate hotels that over charge their customers so I hunted for the best value and what we needed in a room. We only stayed 1 night but I honestly wish we could've stayed at least a few days. The room was very clean and had nice furniture, you can tell this hotel actually takes care of their property and rooms. There were nightstands on each side of the bed and honestly I was glad because you wouldn't believe how often 1 of us gets stuck with the side of the bed with no nightstand when we stay at a hotel. The bed was large and the sheets were super clean and the bedding looked like it was still new, no holes or anything even though it was a smoking room. There was actually enough pillows to keep us comfortable and they were large and supportive. The only thing I could say I would've liked better was if the mattress was a bit softer but I do understand that alot of people prefer a supportive mattress instead of a softer one. The bathroom was clean and there was enough towels and toiletries provided. There were absolutely no burn marks anywhere in the room and honestly it's surprising. Most hotel rooms that allow smoking end up damaged somewhere in their rooms, especially in the bathroom on the edge of the bathtub...it happens so frequently the hotel staff stops trying to repair the marks because it usually ends up just happening again... we just ignore it for the most part but I was surprised to see that this room was in perfect condition. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Asked for non-smoking room and was told I could get one but when I arrived I was told I would have to take a smoking room as that was all that was left!

They could have reserved the non-smoking room as requested! The room was booked and paid for the night before the stay and I am angry and disappointed with the handling of my reservation!

I stay here a few times a week and The staff is wonderful.they are very nice and clean and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay as good as it could be. They have the biggest free breakfast around 5+ Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is nothing not to like

The only thing that pissed me off was I was there after 1 and the office was closed and they wouldn't book me in till 2 which was fine but I was tired and wanted to sleep. I had to recall at 2 with a other woman there who had also pre-booked and the lady rode up on her little golf cart after 2 to check us in.

I liked the room was good sized and clean. My neighbor was quiet.

As always staff was wonderful, room was clean, location is perfect for me. That's why I go back when I need to stay in Christiansburg!!

Had to ask for rags, not sure what's going on there and the housekeeping staff is great but they don't knock and announce themselves. They knock barely and let themselves in too quick.

A very clean and well kept room. Breakfast and coffee was good. The price for the room exceeded our expectations. I would stay here again. The beds were great! The exterior of the building was constructed to make the building look like log cabin.

Well, they were having a problem with both ice machines... we did get enough to fill our two travel mugs with ice and water for the road. Need some work on their massive parking lot -- concrete was cracked and many potholes.

What I like about this super 8 I. chirstiansburg va is that the staff is very friendly. The 2 managers are 2 of the best people I've come across in many years. And I plan on staying again tonight.
