The wood. Beautiful building and interiors. Superior craftsmanship on stairs and railings and ceilings. Views from our room. Comfortable and quiet.

This is not a B&B. It's strictly a B. When one stays at a place designated as a "B&B", one expects one of those fancy breakfasts whipped up by the owner. This place served you food purchased at the local store: bagels, muffins, etc. Stuff you took out of a bag, sliced, and placed in a toaster. Oatmeal was bagged and you add hot water. The breakfast they provide at the typical hotel chain is better than what we were offered. Nice place to stay (views and quiet, out in the country), but it definitely was NOT a B&B.

Loved the location. Welcoming host! We did not have clear weather, but we could see enough to appreciate the grand vistas. The facility was exceptionally spacious, large suite rooms, huge outdoor areas and great in-door gathering areas. It was just the two of us so we didn't benefit that much but it made me want to come back with a large group.

Nothing to complain about. It's a remote location (that's what we like about it) but then, you have to drive a bit for restaurants. Floyd is a few mile down the road and you want to go there anyway. We arrived after 7 in the evening and our host recommended the Treehouse Tavern for a bite to eat. It was perfect for us. Continental breakfast was adequate.

It was absolutely amazing. The owners are two of the nicest people I have ever met. This is the definition of beauty and comfort! I will be returning. I had some GPS issues which caused difficulty finding it. They stayed on the phone with me and brought me to them, and were waiting to greet me when I pulled up!

There was nothing I did not like (other than having to leave).

The continental breakfast was OK. The coffee was HOT and GOOD! The owners were very accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. They were very nice people and very considerate. The view, well, I cannot put it in words!!! The horses were beautiful and so were the deer. The suite we stayed in was very clean and airy and most of all--very quiet. It was a beautiful place to relax and spend quality time with family and friends. We plan to go back as soon as we can!!!

Peaceful and cozy. You can walk, hike, enjoy hanging out away from everything. Real good pizza and bbq restaurant down the road in the middle of nowhere. Deer all around and beautiful singing birds. Horses on location. Feels like home.

Loved the location and the hospitality was great. Very nice facility, service, and ambiance.

When I stay at a bed and breakfast, I always expect some type of home cooked breakfast. I have stayed at many and this is always the case. The breakfast was just store-packaged items and fruit--something you'd get at a microtel. Even a pan of homemade cinnamon rolls or coffee cake would have been a vast improvement. Very disappointed.

Cabin was clean and comfy. Common area is fabulous - beautiful wood work and incredibly comfortable sofas.

The road to the lodge is very rough - washboarded gravel. We probably would not have booked if we had known as we are driving a classic car. Several guests seemed surprised after they arrived to learn how far they would have to drive to find anything for dinner. This was a bigger issue when combined with how rough the road is.

A one time and unique experience enjoying the warm hospitality and gorgeous place.

The rooms do not include a table. You can hear sometimes the people in the next room. The microwave, fridge and sink are for shared use.

Great hosts. We didn't get to meet the wife but the husband gave us a tour and he was super. The rooms were extremely large and we loved the Jacuzzi tub.

The one thing that could have been better was the breakfast. Upon booking a room from a bed and breakfast, we were looking forward to a good home cooked meal with fresh egg, meat, toast or biscuits at least. The spread consisted of bagels from a bag and bread to make toast. It did have some protein bars and a couple of pastries. We were just really disappointed with it and it was one of the things that we had really looked forward to.

It was such a beautiful property and the people running it are the best most genuine people. you feel like you’re visiting family and getting an awesome stay at the same time. I will definitely be back.
