New, clean, good location.

Nothing. One small ding…we had a rate that included breakfast. The server had not been trained about how this worked, so she charged us for breakfast. The manager stepped in and did not charge us for breakfast, and made sure the server understood how the inclusive rate for breakfast worked. It was all good and well-resolved. The service was good and the server was very attentive and helpful…a very sweet person.

I love the facility. It is clean, the staff is great, good water flow in the shower, and the hotel is in a really good location, 5 minutes from downtown Roanoke. I enjoyed the bar. The view from this property is tremendous.

I would have liked an included continental breakfast. The food is excellent, but it isn't cheap. My biggest complaint is the cable system. The picture was consistently pixilating, but even worse, they do not include multiple sports channels that I like. Examples include The Golf Channel and FS1.

I love the location of the Hilton Garde Inn Roanoke and the staff. The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. Each time I have stayed, my room has been ready on time and it is always clean and very comfortable, and the amenities listed on the website are quite accurate. The location of the hotel is close to many restaurants and shopping, but it is off the main road and therefore very quiet. The location makes one feel safe and parking is close to the entrances of the hotel. The fact that there is a restaurant in the hotel also makes it nice if one is too tired to go out. Lastly, the check-in and check-out process is easy and seamless.

There really isn't anything I do not like about the Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke. I feel the beakfast could be a little cheaper in cost, but that is my only concern.

The people were welcoming and friendly. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for this trip.

I wasn't thrilled with the cable. There were several missing stations. I'm used to some sort of included breakfast, which you don't offer, but I knew that going in. My biggest issue was the room rate. I've stayed in that facility before and it was about half the price of this trip. I feel like I got gouged by the price because Virginia Tech was graduating this weekend. I wasn't in Roanoke for that and I'm not pleased at how much I paid.

Very friendly staff. I appreciate the level of customer service my entire stay. The meeting rooms were perfect for our business meeting and the snacks and beverages offered were great.

Paper thin walls. This is my only complaint. I could almost hear my next door neighbors breathing.

Nice place to stay while on the road.

For some odd reason Hilton's booking system always puts me next to the elevator even though I specifically request to be in a quiet room on top floor. I think they are punishing me for rating one of their hotels badly last year.

Nice clean room

The bar/restaurant was supposed to be open until 9:30 when we arrived at 8:10, they stated that they were 'tryin"' to close early (on a Friday night) and were not friendly nor prompted. We closed out our tab and went to Texas Roadhouse at the bottom of the hill

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was quick to help and very kind. The views were incredible, and the location left us feeling like we were completely secure and secluded from the bustle of the greater Roanoke area.

The pool was out of commission during the stay, but this was not the fault of anyone, nor was it an inconvenience. This is the only "letdown" and is largely a nonissue that had plenty of attention given to it by staff.

Enjoyed the beautiful Mountain View. The staff had treats and a toy for my dog! We will be back!

I would have preferred if at least 1 pillow was for stomach sleepers. They were all too stuffed for me.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was very good.

Getting to the hotel can be challenging, if you're not used to steep hills and tight turns.
