We had a memorable stay at Shirley’s Bed & Breakfast. Our suite, The Lavista, was very large with lovely decor, a very comfortable king sized poster bed and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The views from the window of this lovely property were very nice and we enjoyed the heated in-ground pool. The hosts, Jeff & Cheryl, were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Cheryl’s delicious breakfast choices and homemade bread items were a real treat. Full time availability of tea, coffee, wine, beer, water and snacks was an appreciated plus. Jeff’s collection of interesting cars was a treat for my car-loving husband.

That we couldn’t stay longer!

It was a very nice 4-room log cabin set in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. We were sad we could only stay for one night. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby!

I wish they had larger shampoo/conditioner and body wash installed on the shower wall as most hotels do these days. We were on a long road trip and didn't pack our own, so the tiny bottles and soap provided were not adequate.

Absolutely amazing place. The loveliest owners, and just stunning. The rooms were huge, beds super comfy and breakfast was brilliant. We stayed here on a roadtrip of the US and were gutted we didn't have more time to spend there. Will be sure to stay again in the future for a longer period of time and really get to enjoy it to it's fullest. Thanks so much guys x

It was a delightful weekend! Everything was perfect: the room, the bed, the pool and the breakfast! What a breakfast! Everything fresh and full of flavor! I have celiac and Shirley made me a delicious gluten free pecan bread that I even got the receipt. Thank you for making our weekend in Roanoke unforgettable!

This B&B was one of the best ones I’ve ever been to. Jeff was very helpful when we arrived, Cheryl’s breakfast was awesome, the property was beautiful and as described. We also had to change the date of our stay due to an issue with our motorcycle and needing to get it repaired before continuing on our trip. They were very accommodating and had no issues with switching the date to the following night since we were stuck .

Private location, but still convenient to dining and shopping. The room was comfortable and everything was clean. The hosts were wonderful! Breakfast was delicious. We had a really great stay!

Great but short stay at Shirley's B&B! Not too far out of Roanoke, but quiet and peaceful. Amazing log home with plenty of space to be on your own or among the other guests. We only stayed one night but would highly recommend for longer stays. Lovely outdoor space including a heated pool! Our Inn-sitter Gail was wonderful and very helpful and welcoming. An amazing breakfast and lots of extras (wine, beer, snacks!) Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Lovely hosts who were very welcoming. The room was huge and the furnishings were unique. Breakfast was cooked to order and accommodated any specific requirements. Extremely relaxing and a great stopping point for a journey along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Incredible stay at Shirleys. Such a beautiful house and so comfortable. Felt so welcome and hosts are amazing and we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was so delicious 😋 Best stay we have had! Would love to come back in the summer.

The location is secluded and beautifully situated with a view of the mountains. The house is spacious and the classic automobile parts are clever. We enjoyed the pool.
