I/ we stay at this facility 4 times a year. Been doing so for the last 4 to 5 years on the trip up to Virginia to visit my mom and extended family. This is our 1st travel day stopping point. The rooms are always clean, breakfast is consistent over multiple stays, the lobby coffee is actually very good and even superior compared to even higher end hotels, and the staff are usually very friendly! This place is a winner! Only bad experiences i ever had there... the 1st six months of covid. One particular stay, the facility was very short-handed and a few things were predictably off. I chose to overlook those due to the circumstances. Twice, i had militant-types at the front desk giving me grief about masking. I refuse to wear one, period. I put my foot down, they relented. Both of those micro-tyrant types are long gone from the front desk. Every big organizations will occasionally hire a lemon or 3.... It happens. 😆 Great sailing north of that. Love that Longhorn and Olive Garden are mere yards away, and that Chinese buffet across the street? Been there for dinner our last 2 times through, and it ROCKS! I see offerings there you just don't see in other Chinese buffets, like spare ribs, egg fu yung, shrimp, crawfish, and they even have sn ICE CREAM machine in the back that i almost missed 1st time through! Best to drive across the street versus crossing that road however... that can be a bit of a shooting gallery on foot.... haha! See you in September 2024! 😁😁

Check out was noon and starting at 11:20 they were contacted us are we checking out. I felt rushed trying to get the kids ready to leave. Someone opened my door when I was in the bathroom getting the kids ready. If check out was noon as posted on website and the door they should honor that. The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean.

We've/ I've stayed at this facility well over a dozen times. This is our go-to hotel every trip up to Virginia to visit my mom, which I try to do every 3 months. There's a Longhorn steakhouse a quarter mile away that we hit every trip for dinner. A very reputable Chinese restaurant literally right across the street as well.

During the height of covid in mid-2020, there were homeless folks sleeping on the back deck furniture. Seems to have been corrected. As of recently, being in a major mall complex, I still see the occasional sketches walking around in the rear parking lot.

Friendly staff. Housekeeping didn't speak English but used their phone to translate what they were saying when checking to see if you needed service or just fresh towels. Hotel was clean and well kept.

When you pulled the curtains so no one could see In and to keep the light out there was a gap. Had to prop my suitcase against the wall to hold he curtain shut.

Loved the location. We didn't have to drive everywhere. Plenty of restaurants that are walking distance to.

Not a fan of the hard omelets on Saturday morning, but the gravy, biscuits, sausage on Sunday were great.

Good size room, clean and comfortable for working.

The arrangements for the airport shuttle were a bit vague and not what your central customer service said they were. Tiresome in the late evening.

The room was suitable for a comfortable night stay. Nice bedding, hot shower, breakfast, and tv. The room was spacious and secure.

There wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom, only a small refillable body wash on the sink counter. Also, the soap was a bit difficult to dispense in the shower.

The cleanliness of the facility. From the dining area to the rooms to the pool and exercising room was truly relaxing.

This year was different the staff wasn't as informal, attentive, or aware to us as guest. Seems like there were changes to the staff. Last year when we visited the staff was very friendly, professional and informal.

Breakfast buffet was totally unserviced we were told most guests were gone 7 am tgsts why it wasmt stocked? Watched a dozen people come for food and find almost nothing

Location was good but getting transported to the airport was a nightmare. 6 am flight no shuttle no taxis and an hour wait for Uber. Your desk clerk saved not only my day but my entire vacation.
