We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. Everything about the hotel itself was amazing—clean rooms, great amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff, whose warm smiles and genuine hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. Their attention to detail and kindness truly stood out and left a lasting impression on our family. Our son experienced true kindness and respect during our stay, which we deeply appreciate. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for its outstanding service and exceptional hospitality!

The only slight challenge we faced was finding somewhere to eat, as the hotel restaurant was not open during our visit.

Very helpful staff, beautiful property with gorgeous rooms overlooking the ocean. Large balcony, comfortable bedding, luxury bathroom. There is a onsen on the top floor and an onsen in the back courtyard that is open air. It is possible to privately reserve the open air onsen hourly from 3 to 5 PM. The dinner was amazing and the breakfast was so fancy. Dining room host described each dish and was right there to meet all of your needs. They also had a one hour all you can drink shochu tasting with local whiskey and plum wine that came with an appetizer, and it was fun to try the local beverages.

My family and I loved everything about our stay here. The staff was so helpful and kind. They helped us arrange plans each day, including using their free shuttle as well as securing drivers with taxis for half a day when we wanted to go to many spots around the area. Our rooms were so beautiful with amazing views. The meals were exceptional: many courses, delicious and beautiful, each meal’s menu thoughtfully prepared with our food preferences in mind. The staff is wonderful. The whole experience is quite special.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The onsen hotel is spacious and all the staff are so readily to assist and answer any queries that I had. Room is spacious and clean. the outdoor onsen is a gem, so relaxing and well landscaped. Our omakase meals tasted great and different dishes for the 2 nights that we stayed. One of the staff even recognized us when we were walking to the train station after our sandbath at Saraku and picked us up to drive us back to the hotel. We really appreciate that and save us the 30mins journey back hotel on my own.

The indoor onsen looks dated and probably needs some work.

It’s puzzling that this place has a rating of only around 8. In my view it is a solid 10. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The hotel establishment is spotless and tastefully done. The outdoor onsen is small but exquisite. We had terrific food and still the rate was so reasonable. Apart from a location that is a little far from the center of Ibusuki, there is nothing I would fault. Definitely a place to return to.

Highlight of the room was the semi-open air onsen bath and very friendly hotel staff. Liked also the interior design of the japanese-style room. However, compared with other onsen resorts I stayed in with similar price range, this wasn't the best one (e.g. old equipment in the room, limited food options, old coffee machine). It's also not conveniently located for tourists travelling by train, as there's only 1 train per hour.

The service was outstanding! Every care was taken to assure we were comfortable and our plans were intact. This included picking us up at the train station at midnight after travel mishaps, helping us figure out taxi, busss, and train travel to a seaside Onsen, and calling ahead to our next destination to coordinate a shuttle. This is one of the few places that saw my long legs and immediately went to get a larger Yukata and slippers. The Onsens at the property were also first rate.

Everything was wonderful.

although the location was not perfect, the facility provided shuttle service to and from the miyagahama station. there were convenience stores within 10-12 minutes walk.

we were there on the weekend so most restaurants and stores were closed but we had breakfast and dinner provided which made it fine for us. nicer to have a car.

The one-hour self-service free-flow shochu experience in the evening was most amazing and perfect value for money (1500 yen)! Dinner and breakfast were impressive, with super friendly English speaking staff. The (almost private) outdoor onsen and the sea view from our balcony at sunrise were also a big plus!

Nothing at all!

Spacious room, awesome private rotenburo and public sento, really awesome dinner and breakfast 😻😻😻 location is not too far from the train station too! Konbini within walking distance as well! 😻😻😻

Price is a bit high, but it's what you'd expect from such an establishment - it's worth the price, even though it is expensive!
