The atmosphere. A decadent dive in the 90s and 00s of a british themed hotel. The dining room is adorned with Diana and Charles photos. Even the menu is stuck in 1999. Felt like being a teenager again. Also is there another hotel in the world that let you sit in the driving seat of a real doubledecker?

Of course feeling like being in the 90s comes with a price. Moquettes are failing, reservoir pipes discharge directly in the floor waste, furniture lost its brilliant color. The korean stars that stayed at the hotel are dead for the most part. You should book some meal courses in advance, otherwise you won't be able to taste them. At 10 o' clock the breakfast buffet disbands.

Perfect location for hiking in Seoraksan National Park This hotel is ideal if you’re planning to hike in Seoraksan. There’s a bus stop right nearby, and the park entrance is just a 5-minute walk away — super convenient! We stayed for two nights and had enough time to explore and enjoy everything. The rooms are basic, but having a bathtub was such a treat after long hikes. You can even buy bath bombs or aromatic bath salts in the shop on the ground floor — a small detail that made a big difference. Our room had a beautiful mountain view, which was a lovely bonus. The breakfast deserves a special mention — a wide variety of food and everything was very tasty! The only suggestion would be to start breakfast earlier, especially during summer season — even 6:00 AM would help hikers a lot

The hotel is a bit old — the furniture and carpet are worn and creaky. Also, the overall decor might not be to everyone’s taste — it has a very unique, vintage style.

The hotel is a bit strange. The strange thing is that the very rich interior is not combined with a sufficient volume of services that would correspond to the impression of the interior. The main thing is the lack of a lobby bar. It is not about the quantity and quality of drinks, although this is important, but that in the evening you simply have nowhere to sit with family or friends. The rooms are small, you can’t sit there. The breakfast is very good / the staff is wonderful, but the range of services is clearly insufficient for a hotel of this level

This hotel is magical, as if something from a Hogwarts fairy tale is floating in it. A beautiful and large lobby, a 24-hour store Mini museum exhibits on each floor on different genres and topics, about famous people. The rooms are cozy, some in gloomy shades, like the students' rooms at Hogwarts. There is a bathroom where you can relax. The hotel has a restaurant, you can order room service. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are large.

Bird droppings and dilapidated balconies could be cleaned and updated to make it nice to spend time on this small veranda during the warm season. TV could be removed completely or replaced with a more modern smart TV. We were advised to come for breakfast at 7am to reduce the queue, but we like to sleep and came for breakfast at 9am, and there was no queue. The hotel really could be updated, at least some small details, but basically this hotel has its own charm and enchantment, despite everything.

Location, location, location!!! We avoided the daily loooong line of cars attempting to secure limited parking by simply walking 5 minutes to the park’s entrance; food, both breakfast and especially dinner were outstanding; charming interior; our room (deluxe double) was big enough and the Mountain View was very nice; some staff spoke good English and all were very friendly and helpful. Had plenty of hot water except one early morning; but an hour later there was plenty of hot water.

Definitely a bit dated. Needs some updating. The shower water runs off the back wall and floods the floor. The secret is using minimal water pressure so the water doesn’t hit the back wall.

A wonderful hotel right next to high mountains and a large park and temple complex. The interior is reminiscent of a Harry Potter film, where everything around is in English style and slightly shabby from the past century. It looks quite interesting, like a museum in England. Also, in the hotel, every floor really has museum exhibits of a certain genre in music and films, famous singers and actors of the past. Their filmography, signatures, history, awards, etc. are exhibited. It’s interesting to walk and see and read about them. Inside the hotel there is a lounge area and a 24-hour mini store where you can buy souvenirs and a quick snack and water. The hotel also has a working restaurant, the food is very tasty, you can order to your room. There is parking on site. Room: cozy, comfortable. The window offers mountain views. The beds, blankets and pillows are nice and comfortable. There is a kettle and a set of tea/coffee. Two 0.5 liter bottles of drinking water are also provided every day. Bathroom: shower and hair washing kit provided. Soft towels. There is a bath where you can pour hot water with foam and relax after a walk in the mountains. The sink is located low enough, just right for children, but for an adult above 168 cm it is a bit low. A teeth cleaning kit is also provided. The rooms also have bathrobes. Breakfast: large and varied. Fresh. Delicious. It’s worth taking if you want to refresh yourself in the morning and be satisfied. Coffee, pastries, greens, salads, snacks, soups, rice, meat, fish, eggs, yoghurts, juices, water, etc.

We chose it for the location, right at the park entrance which was convenient. We were upgraded to a room with balcony & mountain view. It was clean with large bathroom and TV. The decor was very over the top and being British really quite amusing. Very comfy.

We ate at the hotel which was a 2 course meal, very tasty and good value. However all our food was brought out pretty much together. So we had soup, bread, salad & a pasta dish which was odd. None of the other tables seemed to have the same problem. Air conditioning wasn't very cool

As you’d expect from a quality franchise like this, this hotel was excellent and provided a very comfortable and memorable stay. The location - a few minutes walk from the entrance to the national park- was unbeatable and I was very glad I was able to retreat back here each day after the gruelling hikes in Seoraksan!!

The rooms perhaps are showing their age a bit and are probably due a bit of a refresh, but this did not detract from my very satisfying experience of staying here.

Everything was excellent, the rooms are amazing, comfy and cosy, we even got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The interior of the entire hotel is stunning, lobby, halls, rooms, restaurant, etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious and priced well.

The only thing we were a tad disappointed was when we came back from the park hiking all wet from the rain to change after the check-out they did not want to provide a shower. After a strict “no” they did not know how to communicate in english where we can change outfits.

A traditional English dame of a hotel. Memorabilia is spectacular. Location perfect for exploring and long days of hiking. Wonderful hotel. Tip: book the cook your own bbq dinner pack in advance. Best cafe located in park just after Buddha.
