The room was exceptionally clean. I liked have a small fridge in the room. Everything was 5-15mins walk including the beach so amenities close by. A few minutes walk to the main bus stop. I would stay there again. I also liked the opportunity of paying to keep the room until 8pm. I chose this as my flight was at night so was perfect.

I would have liked the bar to have been open (being a solo female traveller) to have a drink where I was staying but that could have been that it wasn't peak season. Also to advertise on the website that WIFI is only on in the communal areas.

Great location and fantastic balcony for late afternoon sun

Area surrounding the hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

A lovely unique almost boutique hotel. Clean rooms. The pool area. The layout. Comfy beds. The staff, especially Sonya.

Brown tap water means you need to run the tap for 10 minutes to clear the sand that's in the tank. You can then use the tap water, but only use bottled water to brush your teeth. The sun terrace is abandoned. The bath wasn't clean and had bits of black mould along the edges and in the edges of the tiles. It wasn't that bad, but along with the slightly outdated bathroom, we would never use the bath, but the rest of the bathroom was ok.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was a major factor,especially Sonia who made sure she was there to greet me even though my arrival was late in the evening. She then showed me around the hotel and to my room. I have never had this courtesy shown in higher starred hotels-it was an unexpected but much appreciated gesture. My room was a good size and bed comfortable, with a big balcony which caught the sun for most of the day. Breakfast was outstanding and catered for all tastes. I especially liked the cakes and croissants which tasted as if they were homemade? Although I did not make use of the pool it was a surprising, but welcome addition for a 2 star hotel. Overall very impressed with the hotel and would definitely go back.

The only thing that could be improved was the fan in the room. It worked perfectly well but the position in which it was placed meant you could not feel the effects quite so well. Other than that small gripe all was great.

A great little B&B in a fabulous central location. All the staff were so lovely, always taking a moment to smile and say good morning. The place was spotlessly clean, lovely white sheets and towels. You can choose to have your room cleaned every day if you wish by placing a card on the door. Towels changed every 3 days but more often if required. The room had a small terrace, a fridge and a kettle which was great (provide your own tea & coffee etc) There is access to a free safe in the room which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. A choice of hot eggs, beans, and either bacon or sausage. Fresh pieces of fruit, yoghurts, cereal, cheese, ham, and tomatoes. Also, croissants, biscuits, and the most delicious homemade cake, a couple of different flavours each day. I knew reception was not open when I arrived, so I was given instructions on how to access my room key from a key box. I sent a query re the location for my airport drop-off, which was responded to quickly. The bus station is just a few minutes across the road to travel to other destinations (when I go again I will just use the airport bus as its so close) 7-8 mins walk down to the sea front to watch the most amazing sunrises. Bars and restaurants are all just 5 min walk away. It's all pretty flat. There are 3 floors and no lift, but this is made clear in the description. There's a small pool and terrace with a few sunbeds, tables and chairs. WiFi works best from communal areas and can be a bit patchy in the bedroom. All in all, it is definitely value for money, and I would return,.

As a solo traveller, I was disappointed that the restaurant was (temporarily) closed when I was there. The bar only opens 10-2. This was a shame as I'd have liked to have a drink when I returned to the hotel. My only minor complaint would be that the shower head definitely needs to be replaced in room 6. The bath was water stained, which was a bit off-putting, but I must stress it was clean and had a new shower curtain. I sometimes struggled to get hot water early in the morning. A glass in the room might be helpful, though I asked at the bar and they were happy to give me one to use.

We loved our stay here. Location: in a quiet street, but right next to the main street for shops, restaurants and bars. Also very close to bus station for airport bus (only €1.45 each way). Hotel: small, attractive building with open staircases. Pool area with small swimming pool and seats and sunbeds, never busy when we were there. Reception with lounge area but only open until 2pm most days. Free beach towels from reception. Room: (Rm14): spotlessly clean large room with double bed, sofa, chair, TV (local channels), wardrobe with adequate storage, and plenty of (tiled) floor space. Fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Big bathroom with bath/good shower. Very large roof terrace with sofa, table, 2 sunbeds, clothes dryer, and plenty of space. Breakfast: simple but good continental and hot selection, plus cereals, yoghurt, juices, bread, spreads, fresh fruit, cakes and pastries. Small selection but fresh and constantly replenished. Staff: extremely friendly and helpful reception staff, friendly and efficient breakfast staff, housekeeping staff had the room spotless by the time we came back from breakfast each morning. Overall a great value hotel!

We're nitpicking here, because we loved the hotel, but: No lift, and quite a lot of stairs (2 flights down to reception then 1 or 2 flights to the rooms), so not suitable for people with mobility problems. Reception not staffed after 2pm and no bar service after then. No restaurant or bar in the evening (but plenty nearby!)

The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice and I looked forward to it every morning. The location of the hotel is perfect for me-very close to the bus station and the shops. I love that it is a small hotel. I felt safe there. I loved Friday evenings when there is music, drinks and delicious food. The Paella was wonderful!

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like

Lovely little hotel. For 2* the rooms were well maintained and not outdated like some of similar standard. Excellent shower pressure, a bit fiddly getting it to the right heat. Fridge in room. Nice sized balcony. The pool area was really nice. Yes it’s a tiny pool but more than enough to cool down. In February it certainly cools you down, understandably it was freezing. Well maintained. Nice relaxing music played throughout the day. If you’re wanting a budget hotel this is a lot better than many. Down a residential street but a couple minutes walk and you’re beside all the bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes max walk from the beach. Location is 10/10.

No change of towels in five nights was a little disappointing but hardly a big deal. No bin in the room was unusual (tiny one in bathroom). One flat pillow each although did ask for another two and got them straight away.

Fantastic location, and the breakfast was great. Such a lovely setting. Other guests were very polite and there was more than enough space to spread out. Camilla at reception was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. I rang her before we flew to obtain check in details and we spoke in English (I needn’t have worried).

Slightly noisy. Can hear other guests slipping into their rooms, and taps running, but for the price we paid it’s not a big deal. The water stains in the bath were a bit unattractive but that’s the pipes - everything was clean and the beds were comfortable

I liked everything. Warm friendly welcome and hospitality throughout. Communication pre holiday was great you are kept informed and given clear instructions how to enter if reception closed. Very important if alone and first time in resort, as I was. Lovely place, breakfast very good just what you want. Clean throughout and warm shower at anytime of day. Little touches stood out like not charging for wifi and safe which other places do, also fan, shower gel, soap, hairdryer all there and I feel anything else you wanted would be available if asked. Just a great place to stay i would certainly stay again. It’s not 5 star but then you not paying for 5 star.

If I could say anything at all, the pillows and the mattress on the bed were a little hard for me but thats only my preference. I didn't raise this but I feel sure if i did they would have been changed then
