Loved the art, the design, the decore. Stunning property and views.

The front desk staff seemed annoyed and irritable. (Perhaps being overwhelmed? As guests were really loud in the lobby) Check-in was very short and un -welcoming and she did not describe anything available on the property, where the tasting room was, pool hours, how to book in the restaurant- nothing but our room number and check-out time.The same experience was had while booking at the restaurant they seemed annoyed I asked for a reservation and if it was a particularly busy Monday. The exact same warmth was felt in the tasting room. Our server was short and annoyed and did not seem happy to be there. It was our anniversary and staff did not make any mention or make us feel special. *The chambermaids were really kind though and left a special note and bottle in our room.

The property is gorgeous and the restaurant and bar are excellent.

The swimming pool was full of rowdy kids. If they had a separate pool for adults, it would have been perfect.

A beautiful resort with extremely spacious bedrooms. The bathroom featured a huge shower and his and her sinks, which we loved. The attention to detail in this resort is second to none, beautiful places to relax with a glass of wine both inside and outside, as well as fun games options spread across the property. The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty, if a little on the expensive side.

We were expecting more from the wine tasting experience. Good wine, great tour of the vineyard with a guide who was knowledgeable of the process, but the tasting itself was disappointing with no information about the wine, such as tasting notes, pairings or history of the grape / wine, provided or talked through.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. The room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. The entire interior is tastefully furnished and decorated, creating a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. Staff were both friendly and professional, always making us feel welcome. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, and a real highlight for our granddaughters was getting to feed the alpacas and sheep—such a unique and charming experience! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked inviting and well-maintained. We’d love to come back and make the most of it next time!

Very nice rooms. Clean and beautifully designed. We stayed on the first floor with doors opening to the backyard of the hotel. Lots of things to do around. You can walk around the hotel which is full of statues and artifacts. You can feed the alpacas and goats. There were two fireplaces and sitting areas around the lobby which was great. Restaurant food was great though a bit pricey. We ended up going to the city for breakfast. Drinks, especially lattes, cappuccinos at the bar was amazingly done.

The bed was a bit too soft for me. Had some aches and pains in n the morning but it’s okay. We asked for a microwave and kettle which was provided quickly. Refrigerator and keurig machine didn’t work but were quickly replaced. Crib was wooden around the edges and a bit uncomfortable for our 2 year old. But we found ways to soften the edges.

A lovely and unique hotel and event venue - we enjoyed the grounds, the restaurant and the wine tasting room. Our room was large and clean. Unfortunately our room’s bathroom had a strong sewage smell but the hotel moved us to a new room which was perfect. On the morning we departed, we found we had a flat tire on our rental car which required a tow to a tire shop that was open on a Sunday. The bell and engineering staff was so helpful - we really appreciated their concern and we were able to get a tow and a patch, and made it to the airport on time!

See above - may have some plumbing issues to resolve but then again, it may have been a one-time thing?

We loved our stay at Allegretto. It has so much to offer that you would never need to leave. The restaurant was fantastic, the outdoor wine tasting super enjoyable. Our room was lovely and the beds super comfortable. We walked around the property and up to the top of the vineyard, came down and played a bit of ping pong. So much to do there. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Paso Robles.

The sliding barn door on the bathroom doesn't allow for privacy and you can see the person on the toilet through the crack as well as hear every noise. If the door were to overlapped the opening more, it would solve the visual privacy problem.

This is a beautiful property with a meditation garden, nice pool and beautiful art pieces throughout. The staff members were nice, professional and helpful.

Two small things: 1) we booked a cabana for one morning and were placed next to another group that was quite large and loud. Meanwhile, all the other cabanas were empty. Spacing out rented cabanas to solve for quiet and privacy would make more sense; 2) We had no hot water one early evening as we were getting ready to head out to dinner. At the end our stay, I received a phone message offering to compensate us for the inconvenience. I followed up twice and never received a call back. If they had never contacted me, it would have been a better experience than extending the offer and not following through.

The property is stunning. One delight after another as we roamed the halls and then the outdoor spaces. Every element is thoughtfully curated. The terrazzo room is spacious and relaxing. The bed… the mattress is a dream. It’s one of those that doesn’t move when the other person turns over. Fantastic. I loved sitting on my terrazzo for morning coffee, walking into the vineyard to watch the sunrise, and sitting in the piazza with a glass of wine in the evening. I also loved the secrets of the chapel and olive grove, the rooster from the neighboring farm, and the cats who moved like sleek shadows amongst the vines.

I can’t think of anything other than the highway being close, but honestly, once on the property, I never thought once about the highway. It was actually quite convenient to be able to easily drive to other places.

The property itself is just beautiful with a fantastic pool area. We booked the wine tasting which was enjoyable and the rooms were pleasant. There was a restaurant on site as well as a gym and spa.

Three things that could have been improved: the air con in the room was set at a temperature and we couldn't put it down any more. We were hot. Although tea and coffee plus mineral water were supplied, we struggled to make use of the coffee and tea as only two pods of coffee mate were left. As English people we like milk in our drinks and coffee mate just doesn't go with tea. The food in the restaurant was nothing special and super expensive. There was no free breakfast.
