Loved the art, the design, the decore. Stunning property and views.

The front desk staff seemed annoyed and irritable. (Perhaps being overwhelmed? As guests were really loud in the lobby) Check-in was very short and un -welcoming and she did not describe anything available on the property, where the tasting room was, pool hours, how to book in the restaurant- nothing but our room number and check-out time.The same experience was had while booking at the restaurant they seemed annoyed I asked for a reservation and if it was a particularly busy Monday. The exact same warmth was felt in the tasting room. Our server was short and annoyed and did not seem happy to be there. It was our anniversary and staff did not make any mention or make us feel special. *The chambermaids were really kind though and left a special note and bottle in our room.

We will definitely be back! We had an outstanding experience at Allegretto! We can tell the people who work there love it because everyone was so kind and helpful. Michelle at the pool was EXCEPTIONAL! We were going to go wine tasting, but because Michelle was so bubbly, kind, and accommodating, we stayed at the pool and enjoyed lunch and one too many Aperol spritzers 😂 Scott at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. We came back from the fair hungry and thirsty and instead of saying sorry nothing is open he gave us a solution: we sell wine and you can order Uber eats. We did both and warmed up by the fire. We felt very grateful to be in a beautiful place with beautiful people. The grounds are stunning and we kept discovering new gems while exploring. The chapel and the ping pong table were some highlights. Ya’ll just need a pickleball courts! We will recommend Allegretto to ALL our friends.

The property is gorgeous and the restaurant and bar are excellent.

The swimming pool was full of rowdy kids. If they had a separate pool for adults, it would have been perfect.

The gardens and pool were beautiful The wine tasting was excellent all credit to the team doing this

Unfortunately the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was not to the standard I would expect especially for the price It’s a shame the hotel does not offer a shuttle into Paso Robles to do more wine tasting at the many places on offer This means I’m sure a lot of people drink and drive It also was not apparent what else was available to do at the hotel We found out more from talking to the team doing the wine tasting than the reception or concierge

A beautiful resort with extremely spacious bedrooms. The bathroom featured a huge shower and his and her sinks, which we loved. The attention to detail in this resort is second to none, beautiful places to relax with a glass of wine both inside and outside, as well as fun games options spread across the property. The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty, if a little on the expensive side.

We were expecting more from the wine tasting experience. Good wine, great tour of the vineyard with a guide who was knowledgeable of the process, but the tasting itself was disappointing with no information about the wine, such as tasting notes, pairings or history of the grape / wine, provided or talked through.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. The room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. The entire interior is tastefully furnished and decorated, creating a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. Staff were both friendly and professional, always making us feel welcome. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, and a real highlight for our granddaughters was getting to feed the alpacas and sheep—such a unique and charming experience! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked inviting and well-maintained. We’d love to come back and make the most of it next time!

Very nice rooms. Clean and beautifully designed. We stayed on the first floor with doors opening to the backyard of the hotel. Lots of things to do around. You can walk around the hotel which is full of statues and artifacts. You can feed the alpacas and goats. There were two fireplaces and sitting areas around the lobby which was great. Restaurant food was great though a bit pricey. We ended up going to the city for breakfast. Drinks, especially lattes, cappuccinos at the bar was amazingly done.

The bed was a bit too soft for me. Had some aches and pains in n the morning but it’s okay. We asked for a microwave and kettle which was provided quickly. Refrigerator and keurig machine didn’t work but were quickly replaced. Crib was wooden around the edges and a bit uncomfortable for our 2 year old. But we found ways to soften the edges.

A lovely and unique hotel and event venue - we enjoyed the grounds, the restaurant and the wine tasting room. Our room was large and clean. Unfortunately our room’s bathroom had a strong sewage smell but the hotel moved us to a new room which was perfect. On the morning we departed, we found we had a flat tire on our rental car which required a tow to a tire shop that was open on a Sunday. The bell and engineering staff was so helpful - we really appreciated their concern and we were able to get a tow and a patch, and made it to the airport on time!

See above - may have some plumbing issues to resolve but then again, it may have been a one-time thing?

Love the rooms on the first floor facing into the court yard, the patio of the room was magnificent. Fire pits a few steps away with a glass of wine. The art on the property was beautiful, well selected and in harmony with the design of the property. The restaurant could have been exceptional as well. The flavor of the chicken carbonara was a 10, the preparation of the chicken prior to cooking lacked attention to detail. Can’t wait for my next trip to Allegretto, one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at!!

We loved our stay at Allegretto. It has so much to offer that you would never need to leave. The restaurant was fantastic, the outdoor wine tasting super enjoyable. Our room was lovely and the beds super comfortable. We walked around the property and up to the top of the vineyard, came down and played a bit of ping pong. So much to do there. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Paso Robles.

The sliding barn door on the bathroom doesn't allow for privacy and you can see the person on the toilet through the crack as well as hear every noise. If the door were to overlapped the opening more, it would solve the visual privacy problem.
