The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Gmunden with easy access to all the interesting bits, the lake, the shops, the bars. It was also a comfortable walk to the Grunberg cable car. If you have a sweet tooth, you will enjoy the superb cakes and patisseries at both Grellinger and La Sonett. The apartment itself was well-equipped and I appreciated the air conditioning on hot days. For me, the location and the nice people at La Sonett made this a perfect stay for one person travelling alone with no car.

There wasn't a table and chair in my room, only stools and a slim desk, which were sufficient for doing a bit of work and for eating light snacks. Yes, there was some music coming from the bar next door at night, but I am a late sleeper so it didn't bother me. I had brought along earplugs but didn't feel I needed to use them.

We liked the accommodation very much. In my opinion the ratio of price and quality was adequate. The rooms were clean, modernly equipped. I appreciate the basic equipment of the kitchen, there was a fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine for capsules and other equipment. The TV in the room is large enough. On the first floor, a table and chairs were available in the room, on the second floor, due to the size of the room, only stools and a narrow shelf under the TV were available, which served as a storage counter, which was still enough if we had breakfast in the morning. The air conditioning came in handy too. Also I appreciate plenty of hangers in the closet ;) Other note: You will receive a code for the room on the day of arrival (well in advance), which is also used to unlock the main entrance that leads to the pastry shop. Parking is possible anywhere in the parking lots in Gmunden for a favorable price. Everything is close from the accommodation, e.g. supermarket, restaurant, bakery, square, post office, public transport stop and others.

Terrible noise every evening until about 2:00 and until 4:00 in the morning, which probably came from the bar right next to the accommodation. But since the rooms are well laid out, it was enough to close all the windows and run the air conditioner so that we were not hot. In one room, there were not enough coffee capsules.

The position in Gmunden was perfect and the staff were attentive and friendly. The apartment had recently been renovated to a good standard. The lift made life a lot easier

I would have loved a chair to sit in as only stools were provided. I am old now and having no back support is difficult. It would not be a problem for a younger more active group.

Great easy spot very central with nice pizza place across the road. Our room was not made up so we were upgraded immediately to a larger room and were very happy with it. Great service.

Lack of parking did make it a bit stressful with bags but we managed.

This place is perfect. People are kind, rooms are fully renovated and spacious and of course you have a perfect breakfadt option at the first floor. Absolutely loved it.

It is not cheap. In the sense that it's not a deal. The quality-price ratio is at the lower end of what I would qualify as "fair."

The kitchen was a very helpful addition to the room. The spacing was geat.

The curtains did not block the sunlight so we got up much earlier than we wanted. The bathroom door was amazingly heavy so we left it open all the time...

Great location in the middle of Gmunden. The viennoiseries are excellent. The chef is talented. I've had the opportunity to talk a bit with him, he's very friendly. We were 4, and the room was still big, like a flat. Modern, very clean, and all the necessary equipment.

Perfect, recently renovated and opened, location in city center with walking distance or easy access to main attractions. Friendly stuff and amazing options in café (must try)! In the morning you can smell freshly beaked bread and croissants :)

If your stay/journey is a bit longer it may be difficult to do some washing/clothes refreshing.

Very nice looking room. Unique style. The bathroom was in an old bank vault.

The terrace door was missing it’s lock. There where a few rubber wedges to close it shut.

Perfect location, right behind the pier. Very clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. You can event cook your own meal. Easy check in with code.

If you drive, you would need to park in a parking garage with a fee. But I guess this is not avoidable since the hotel is located very central.
