We arrived by train and easily walked to the hotel with large wheeled bags. The lobby and staff were welcoming. We had a standard triple room, that was clean, comfortable, and had an exceptional bathroom. The view of the Himeji Castle from the 13th floor was breathtaking. It was nice to have a small banquette and table in the room. The area around the hotel was inviting and walkable, and it is adjacent to a shopping street. We chose to include the breakfast buffet and it was well worth it. There were many options and the even though it was busy, the food was well stocked and there were enough stations it was never too crowded. They stowed our luggage after checkout, and it was a lovely walk from the hotel to the castle The lobby was a nice rest stop after visiting the castle and before heading to the train station with our luggage.

The cost was a bit high, but it was a premium location for convenience.

Wonderful room, great location, friendly staff, very clean!, many amenities, and breakfast is AMAZING! It has everything you need. I would stay here again!

The only drawback is the bed is rock hard. I actually checked to see if the mattress was a boxspring or not. I've heard people say in various reviews for hotels that they have found a mattress to be too firm and Ive ignored those complaints and found the beds to be comfortable, but this one is truly ROCK hard. My ribs felt bruised from sleeping on it unfortunately (I'm a side sleeper). As odd as it sounds though, everything else was so amazing that I would actually stay here again!

Clean with a convenient location. Ability to see when washers were available on the TV and when your load was finished. Conveniently located breakfast buffet with western and asian dishes. Great housekeeping protocols and service.

No English language stations on the in room TV. The entire month of November was excluded from their rewards program as they transfer to a new program. It would have been nice to get credit for our two week stay and have the points rolled over to the new program.

The hotel’s proximity to the station and its location within the pedestrian area were fantastic. It’s easily accessible with a stroll through covered shopping streets, and just a short walk to Himeji Castle, one of the city’s main attraction. Perfect for those traveling by train who want to fully enjoy their visit. The room was average in size but had an excellent layout that made good use of space. The staff was very professional and attentive to every need.

The breakfast buffet was not as varied as one might expect from a hotel in this category, but overall ok.

+We got the top floor and great views of the castle at day and at night. Which was beyond nice. +Great staff, smooth check in. +Central location and it is easy to walk to the castle. That's why you come here, isn't it? Train is close by, shopping is close by, it's all good...

-...except that all isn't good. The mattress is hard and it is matched with a soft pillow that turns into a chip/crisp under the lightest of weights, which brutalizes the physique of any side-sleeper. You can't have it all, can you?

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's on the north side of the train station making it an easy walk to the castle. I had read that it was the only hotel north of the train station, but I saw others. There's a lot of shopping nearby and a supermarket where you could buy groceries. I really enjoyed the deep soaking tub. It made for a very relaxing bathing experience. There was a kettle in the room with instant tea. It would have been nice to have some tea bags or some instant or ground coffee.

I'm not sure if I really like the check in and check out from a kiosk. I know that it's efficient but I feel disconnected from staff, making the entire stay seem a bit cold. I'm sure the staff is very nice, but you really wouldn't know it because you have very little interaction with them. The room got very warm inside and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature. But maybe that's on me because I can't read or speak Japanese.

We just loved our stay. The hotel appears relatively new. Clean, bright bedrooms. Very quiet overnight. Spacious by Japanese standards. The front desk staff are exceptionally helpful, going out of their way to assist on a couple of occasions. Excellent location about 7 minutes flat walk to the railway station and 15 minutes to the castle and gardens. Bed a little on the firm side for us but otherwise definitely no complaints. Highly recommended.

This hotel was so fabulous we were disappointed that we were only staying one night! Our room on the 13th Floor, was huge and very comfortable, with a fabulous view towards Himeji Castle. The bathroom was large, exceptionally clean and well equipped with an excellent shower. We had a breakfast buffet included which we'd forgotten about so that was a nice surprise.

We loved that a breakfast buffet was included, however we felt there were too few Western breakfast options offered, e.g. only one type of cereal. Otherwise it was very good.

I had never stayed at a hotel from this chain and was surprised by the very high level it delivered for the cost. The room was relatively spacious (especially the bathroom) with a clear view of the Himeji castle. The hotel itself is beautiful and is located perfectly between the train station and the castle, allowing for easy access to both. The staff were very professional and courteous.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

Most everything was wonderful— the staff, the beautiful castle view from the room, the location. The room was spacious and well-kept.

Like I said, this could have been an easy 10/10 review if it wasn’t for the board-hard beds. We typically like a firm mattress, but this felt like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Still, a mostly wonderful stay!
