Great pet friendly accommodation. Nice outlook with pool & and nicely manicured gardens. Lovely garden & cleaning staff, very accommodating. Gating in room is provided between pet & human areas. Pets on tiles, humans on carpet & shared tile bathroom/rear entrance area. Good air flow options with top & floor sliding windows. Fan. Security screens on windows. Secure rooms with front & Rear access. Own carport. Indoor & outdoor seating. Great pillow options. Comfy beds, firmish. Clean linen & bathrooms. Ample towelling. Pet cleaning products, bathroom & dishwashing products provided. Fridge, microwave, jug, toaster. Cutlery, plates, tea & coffee, milk & water. Secluded beach across street, wonderful sea views from room. Recommend room 2. Friendly, accommodating staff. Digital TV options; Netflix, Disney & many others, using own accounts. Spacious, clean!, good-sized room. Smallish pet area, but enough - as there is plenty of outdoor space to run big dog, including fully fenced, secure & enclosed dog garden/run with seating for owners. Information Centre next door. Fresh fish shop quick drive away. Ample space for big trucks to park, with turning bay and parking options both in grounds and also across the street.

No shops that are a convenient walk away but quick 8 min drive to cafes, supermarket, coffee shop. Be aware, no Uber eats options as no drivers available. 😀

Extremely friendly staff very helpful and went over and beyond my expectations thank you and property was better than I expected for the price. The pool was delightful and clean and surrounding area safe. The off leash pet area was enjoyed by my 2 pups. Both my pups were welcomed with no hesitation this is definitely a fantastic pet friendly accommodation where I will definitely stay again. I just wish I hadn't kept driving past over the last 6 years and more. The grounds are lovely and plenty of land to take the dogs for a walk. Being next to the Big Mango was great as I was able to walk and get a sorbet highly recommended.

There was nothing not to like about the property.

It was out of the way. It was economical, it had a kitchen and the split system was working. It is spring in Queensland, I still feel the cold and I appreciated the service.

It had no wifi. No reception. I had no phone so a kind neighbour helped me out when I arrived. The property should promote it has self contained unit services, I discovered a petrol station 100 metres when the rain eased up. But it was too late by then, upon arrival, the owner recommended a bistro up the road that was also good. I had to wait until it opened, so it was a late breakfast.

Always stay here on the way up north - very dog friendly and typical old school motel set up. Beds comfortable and rooms are clean. Fridge and aircon cold and ready for you when you arrive

Was charged more than the booking.com price but didn’t take issue as the owner was very accommodating in having us arrive late the night before. Its a bit dated but well kept

Motel was nice enough, everything we needed and staff were friendly. Bed was super comfy.

Room needed a bit of updating, fan blades was bent and peeling, needs replacing. Some repair to wall in toilet needed. location was a little further out of town than I realised, but thats not a negative.

Arrived in the late evening Upon waking up in this pet friendly Accommodation the day was amazing as well as the views looking across the ocean from Bowen Magnificent 👍👍💪💪 I’ll be back if pass through again Made my trip even more special Andrew

That I couldn’t stay another night. There was nothing that I didn’t like.

All ground floor. Carpark outside the door. Soundproof room. Wall is well painted makes the room feel clean. Power points next to beds. The milk is fresh milk. Microwave in room. Liquid detergent to wash cups and spoons is provided.

Shower head and taps may need an upgrade.

Location, lovely view, swimming pool for the kids to take a dip, beautiful gardens.

It was great for a quick overnight stop to rest our heads. If there was anything we couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower but it was a hot time of year so we really didn’t mind a cold shower to be honest.

Comfortable beds, outside seating, pretty view, clean bathroom and floors, drive up to room parking. Genuine travellers motel to refresh. Mango sorbet at Visitor Info Centre next door. Sunrise over water.

On highway but traffic noise was not really a problem.

The bed was very comfortable. Good size fridge. Uber eats delivers - south side of Bowen. The view is fantastic. You actually get an ocean view from your bed Great airflow

A bit of traffic noise. No privacy when showering - only because of the bathroom layout.
