Very convenient if traveling by train (right in front of the station) while also very close from the old town. Reception was helpful guiding me to get to a nice place to eat and drink for the evening.

Nothing except indication for the parking (which is actually a public parking with a special arrangement for the hotel) should be given prior to our arrival so we could get there straight upon our arrival instead of trying to find a parking to get to the front office to be told how to get to the parking. Minor details, but something easy to rectify with directions given via the Booking messenger system.

A traditional style old hotel with some lovely features. Very easy check in and friendly, helpful staff, there is a lift which helps and reception is on the first floor. We arrived a little early but they had a locked room so we could leave our luggage whilst we went out until check in time. Rooms are lovely and clean, warm and with comfortable beds and toiletries included in the en-suite, kettle etc in room but being a Brit not enough Tea but they gladly gave more on request! Great location immediately opposite the railway station & bus terminal but it was really quiet in our room despite outside being a hub of activity, great for people watching! There are bars, restaurants and shops within easy, flat walking distance. A lovely city. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

After a long day driving from London to Belgium, followed immediately by a work meeting, I was very tired upon arrival but instantly cheered up by the greeting from Kevin, who was so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a retro charm and glamour to it, and the rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, and the towels and bedding had been washed using a detergent with a lovely, fresh smell. I slept very well, which is rare for me when travelling! The breakfast was a nice buffet, with hot food, pastries, cereal and fruit.

Very generous breakfast although not quite as tasty as the one I had the following day at a hotel I was not otherwise very satisfied with. Otherwise,being a train traveller the position right opposite the train (and bus) Station was most welcome as it rained a little and I got across the road without even a rain coat or umbrella. Very comfortable night's stay in excellent bed and everywhere spotless. Friendly proprietor and staff generally could not be faulted,.

Virtually nothing - my Wife wouldn't have been able to stay as all accomodation is on 1st floor or above (she would not have been able to climb so many stairs nor due to claustrophobia use the small lift. -when I mentioned this, the possibility of accessible rooms on the ground flor is being considered, I was told.

Room was very clean. Toilet was separate from bathroom. Staff was very attentive to one’s needs. Breakfast buffet was quite varied. (Coffee was a bit weak.) The location right across from railway station and close to city centre was excellent for anyone travelling by train.

Coffee was a little too weak, but you could tweak it by combining espresso with milk coffee. The soundproofing might be a problem for some guests. I could clearly follow the conversation conducted in another room (which I found a pleasant distraction as I was travelling solo).

The hotel is located in front of railway station. However, no noise from the city if the room has a window from the yard side. Nearby are a good selection of cafes, restaurants, shops. The staff is very friendly and qualified. The room has normal size. The shower room is big and clean. Powerful refrigerator (bar) and teapot are in the room. The breakfast is modest but sufficient.

The bed linen is clean, but could use some updating.

I'd stayed here before - albeit several years ago - so I knew what to expect. It's a really nice hotel in a great location right opposite the rail and bus stations. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel still retains some of the elegance of former years.

The WiFi isn't very good -it kept dropping out and requiring me to log back in.

Location in the Train station square. 10 minutes to the center. The room was remodeled and very good space. Breakfast in the coffee shop, very good. We had 3 windows and a balcony viewing the square. Bus station in front of us, if you want to visit near cities

This hotel is far above the accepted standards of Belgium, and however at a reasonable price. I would like to point out the kindness of staff, the excellent breakfast (buffet), coffee and tea facilities in the room (which is hardly to be found elsewhere in Belgium), the lift. The rooms are comfy and very quiet although the building is located just opposite to the station. They have a bagage room which is also very convenient.

Very close to the train station, located in an old and nice building. Kind staff,. Good value for money.

The bed isn't that comfortable. Also the toilet is separated from the bathroom, so quite annoying to have to cross the room the other way to wash your hands in the middle of the night.
