I recently booked a stay for my parents at De Princess Hotel Udonthani, and they were impressed from the moment they arrived. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a modern minimalist style, blending luxury and warmth perfectly. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable with a soft bed. All the necessary amenities are provided, including a TV, work desk, refrigerator, hairdryer, and a very clean bathroom with a safe. The water pressure is great, and everything you need is available. - The breakfast is also fantastic, offering a wide variety of both Thai and Western options, all of which tasted better than expected. - The staff is friendly, polite, and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. - The location is very convenient, being close to Central Udon, UD Town, and the airport, making it easy to eat, shop, and travel.

The hotel is a bit on the older side, and some areas could use a little refreshing. For instance, the carpets and some of the furniture in the common areas looked a bit worn out. Despite this, the overall comfort and service far outweighed these minor details.

Nice hotel in a quiet area. The room was quite big, comfortable and clean. The WIFI is working well as well as the air conditioning. The breakfast was good and sufficient. The possibility to park the car in the building opposite to the hotel was a good option.

We would have prefered to pay in THB directly at the reception of the hotel at our arrival whereas the price of the night was immediatly charged in THB by the hotel / booking.com from our credit card with additional costs from the banks, at the end it has costed us more than the price shown on booking.com

This was my first time going to Udon Thani and we picked this hotel behind their photos in bookings. It looks clean and comfy. When we arrived the room, everything looks exactly what I saw from bookings! I love the bed - very comfy. The room is clean and spacious. Bathroom was great with just right water pressure and water temperature. We got all facilities that we need. In summary, this hotel is great!

The only cons of this hotel would be a TV signal which was quite weak. Lots of channels are listed but in reality we couldn't watch all or sometime we were watching but suddenly the signal was lost. But the rest of services, all were amazing.

I can not imagine a better hotel for such reasonable price. Everything was far beyond expectations. I will look no further but stay in this hotel, when I visit Udon Thani next time. Room was big, clean, comfortable, well illuminated. The wifi signal was strong. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. The staff were kind and helpful. If you don't mind walking 15-20 minutes, UD Town, nightmarket, Nong Bua lake and Thai-Chinese Cultural Center are easily reachable on foot. I suggest Grab app. for visiting faraway tourist attractions.

There is not much to do or see in the vicinity of the hotel.

You are going to want to book a mid level hotel in udon thani but I think you should spend a couple of extra bucks and treat yourself to Deprincess. It was LUXURY. The bed and bedding was incredibly soft. I paid extra for a bathtub with no regrets. There were bathbombs for sale at reception. Every detail was carefully planned and I am so grateful for the kindness of the front desk staff. Breakfast buffet was huge with many options. Everything was clean and delicious and amazing. 10/10 worth every penny. I had been traveling for many months and this restored and renewed me in a way other hotels were not able to.

Super clean and lovely room. Comfortable, cool, nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and the laundry service outstanding - I asked for express service as I needed it back that day, but they still only charged normal rates. And I got an early check in at 6am for an additional 50%.

Maybe the only thing is the rooms are not particularly sound proof, there was some road and traffic noise.

Spacious room, great bed and bed linen. Hotel staff exceptional. The WiFi in my room didn't work. Within 15 mins someone came to investigate. It did take a few hours to resolve, but staff were most apologetic. I was the only person in the restaurant for dinner. Staff were attentive, the food very good.

The gym is very basic. The hotel is a bit far from anywhere interesting, especially if you're on foot. I couldn't find any interesting restaurants within walking distance. Perhaps the area is a bit iffy. A girl on a motorbike stopped and offered to drive me back to the hotel, concerned I was walking alone.

Udons best kept secret! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIP's. The lobby area was stunning with tasteful design and furnished with elegant features and furnishings. The option of a lift or staircase to all floors led to spa ious carpeted hallways to the bedrooms. The jaw-dropping rooms with extra wide king beds were complimented by luxury bedding and silk (yes silk!) Dressing gowns. Okay, the bathroom was a little on the small side, but it would be churlish to criticise this. The dining room which served both breakfast and dinner was well laid out and furnished and a nice coffee bar adjacent was the perfect pre- dinner space to enjoy a hot drink or alcoholic beverage! Okay, I have saved the best till last - no, not the fact there is also an air-conditioned gym and outdoor swimming pool (bit small to swim in but great for kids), but the price! I'm not going to tell you what I paid, you need to check that out yourself. All I can say is you will be extremely surprised.

The hotel is very beautiful. The reception staff are cheerful and helpful. There are porters who take good care of you. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Everything is like a 5-star hotel. They are very professional. I would like to say that this hotel is the best hotel in Udon Thani. I highly recommend it. If you come to Udon, you must not miss staying here.

Definitely a 4-Star Hotel. 5-Star Rating only limited by overall size of property, I expect. Food and Bev. Limited Selection, but what we both ordered were spot on. Room. Nice and Clean. So, being very very nitpicky. 1 overhead light fixture in bedroom area was loose or not completely sealed into the ceiling. Living space sofa had a small (very small light blue) stain. Living Room dinner table nicely set-up with I assume were gold plated utensils, utensils had dents from use.. Personally would of been better with simple utensils that were damage free. Bathroom a bit small, but very functional. * Again, just being nitpicky......for me.......that's what reviews are for!! By far, the best 4-Star+ hotel that I've stayed at in Udon Thani. Think, I only need to stay at the Grand Siam and VELA Dhi to complete my review of 4-Star+ hotels in Udon.
