I can't recommend this property enough! It is private, calm, clean, conveniently located to the beach/ Malecón. They've thought of everything- beach bag and towels for guests, a drinking fountain with potable water. The communication with staff was friendly and detailed. It is obvious that all the staff love their job. The attached restaurant was an unexpected bonus! All guests get free coffee, orange juice, toast and fruit each morning. You can order more for additional cost. The restaurant is also open for delicious lunch options. We got birria tacos delivered poolside. ¡Rico y barato!

Location: Somehow manages to be close to all the restaurants, shops, and nightlife you could want… while also being incredibly quiet and tucked away from the chaos. People: All the staff were so friendly. We absolutely loved our trip recommendations from Eva at the bar, who helped us set up 2 boat tours very quickly and easily! Vibes: Casa Maria provides a great, welcoming atmosphere that’s easy to relax in. Almost every day my friend and I would show up at the bar for happy hour and have a great time chatting with the other guests and staff. It was such happy energy. The arrival and departure traditions at Casa Maria (I won’t spoil the surprise) are unexpected fun too!

Beautiful, colorful property. Comfortable clean rooms with excellent, friendly. maid service. A lovely pool area with a bar and the friendliest, most welcoming bartender :-). A/C worked great during hot PV afternoon. Location was fantastic, right in the middle of Zona Romantica, around the corner from fun bars & restaurants and just a few mins to the beach! I appreciated that the hotel provided a little beach basket along with the towels for my use!

Quality of food at breakfast was meh, and didn't care for the taste of the coffee. A little improvement here could go a long way!

Great location and attentive, friendly staff. It has a very welcoming and warm atmosphere and is small, unlike a big, impersonal hotel. Guests were also friendly and loved the decor.

Our room was a good location (near the pool) and the glass sliders were our “door” but even though they were one way mirror, you really had to close the blinds for privacy. Also the sound carried from the next door room and we could hear entire conversations at 7:30 am. Better sound insolation would really help.

After staying at numerous other properties in Puerto Vallarta, my husband and I wanted a low key quiet, relaxing vacation. This hotel delivered. Adults only. NO kids screaming in the pool. With only 20 rooms, no hassle to get a chaise lounge. Days went by where my husband and I had the pool to ourselves! Cute little bar on the premise. Super quiet rooms. Beds were great. Had an assortment of pillow types to choose from - which I appreciate. Bathroom was a great size. The colors of this hotel are inspiring, fun, tropical and make you feel you're on vacation. AND they make pastries for breakfast. What a suburb artist is their baker. Rivals Rome Italy pastries.

The only bad point for me, was the loud mini-split that was for air conditioning. It didn't bother my husband at all. We did have a ceiling fan we used instead most of the time. It wasn't really that hot. They have film on the windows that reflect the sun's heat.

I had booked a different hotel for this visit, who cancelled the booking and found me this place. I was disappointed, until i got here. The online pictures can make it look a bit busy, but in actuality it is a little haven right downtown. It was pride week, and I expected it to be noisy, but it wasn’t at all. It is a few blocks from the park. From my room i could see paragliders sailing above the hotels. The pool area was lovely, and the hostel is small enough to have a family feel.The bartender knew everyone by name and their preferred drinks.

Casa Maria is a perfect place to stay! It's conveniently located near excellent restaurants, massage services, and the beach, we stayed here for 3 nights. It's close to everything, yet very quiet at night. The general manager, Jaime, was extremely approachable and accommodating. The bartender, Eva, makes the best drinks—I especially love her passionfruit margarita. They have traditional activities and wall art thats super cool and colorful !Breakfast was great, too. All of the staff are very friendly.

We stayed for a work-vacation week. Location is unbeatable, in the heart of Romantica but without suffering the late-night music from the clubs. The staff is incredibly nice, especially every morning during the included breakfast (you'll love their homemade pastries) and at the adults-only pool. The room is spacious, clean, and modern, and drinking water is included. We had an issue with the wifi at first, but they immediately helped out and remedied the situation. Overall a fantastic, clean, boutique hotel that we are excited to return to in the future.

The employees who worked here were the best. The location was perfect for doing things in Puerto Vallarta. I also liked the colorful paintings, decorations, and atmosphere.

The only thing that could be improved is the air flow from the air conditioning unit. It comes straight down onto one of the beds. We wanted the air to come out and go across the room. The A/C was very cold and strong and we wanted to lower the speed of the air flow but would have to turn the unit off when it got too cold.

1. The cafe next door for coffee/pastry in morning 2. LOCATION, perfect location for our time. We never had to walk more than 3 blocks! 3. The styling of the property (all the colors, words of affirmation, and the lock you are given to place upon your departure) make for a wonderful "uniqueness" 4. The bartender, she is wonderful! And front desk staff in their friendliness and wanting to be of assistance.

1. I understand it may not be possible, BUT PLEASE HEAT THE POOL!!! It sounds odd for a location like PV but even when it is 85, having a pool that is 70 degrees makes for very cold swim. Even this far south the Pacific Ocean is still cool (until Aug-Oct but then it's rainy season).... Given the pictures shown of property the beautiful (and it is very pretty, crystal clear water in pool) it is too cold to swim in! I would have LOVED to had it warmer to be able to swim in and then lounge. 2. Minor but please add at least one more roll of toilet paper to rooms so there is always an extra one on hand. Perhaps another blanket as well, with only the sheet and one blanket, it sounds funny but my husband and I were often cold many nights (since A/C does not have a button for above 21 C)
