The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. For an older premises the place was well maintained . The breakfast was fresh and hot. We were allowed to stay in the lounge to wait for our ferry. Very handy for the ferry. Tesco nearby .

The place smelt heavily of smoke when you go in the front door. However the room was fresh. I think they should get rid of the two notices outside the premises as they don’t give a good first impression and it is not what I encountered. It did make me anxious when I saw them first.

Maria at the reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. A very hard-working person. The single bed was comfortable with all the facilities I needed. Breakfast with gluten-free bread on request was good, plus continental included. Pool 🎱 table is a good option for the evening to spend. Location is also perfect, near the car park.

It's not that I didn't like it, but I lost a couple of times in a hotel corridor 😀

They were very accommodating to a delay that occurred. A standard hotel breakfast was of good quality, and promptly served. The room and shower had been newly refitted. The hotel has a unique history and place in the community of Goodwick, as well as serving travellers passing through.

Nothing could have been better, really. The Glendower is old-fashioned; it fits in; it provided a great service. It's a shame that the ferry passenger routes are so neglected.

This little hotel above a small pub is the perfect location for a stay in the Goodwick/Fishguard area. It is a short walk to either the train station or the ferry. The room was small but spotless clean and had everything you could need. Breakfast is included, you just need to book the time the night before. Hannah at the bar also serves as the front desk was so very nice, helpful with meal recommendations and such as well.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was everything I needed.

There were often people smoking outside the front door. The smell would linger on the landing and come into the bedrooms.

Staff were fab - really friendly and service was excellent. Breakfast very traditional and satisfying. Room was super clean with large bathroom and great shower. The only downside is the cost seems excessive for such a dated building - it’s a bit like going back to 1991 and the lock on our room door was flimsy. A bit worrying that the wrong key opened our door too. 😳

It was an economical room, breakfast included. I parked in the public car park across the road which was cheap and easy for the couple of days I was there.

All pretty good really, the bar wasn't really somewhere I wanted to hang around in, not too noisy though.

Breakfast was served plentiful and a good variety. Location was great, ideal for ferry although we visited for the triathlon and it was all within walking distance. They could not do enough and were very accommodating.

Sounds cliche but never - great value for money

The Glendower Hotel was an absolute experience! The room facilities were ideal and we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room itself had a wonderful, cozy retro vibe. The pub downstairs was basically the meeting place for the whole village. The host did his job with passion and with an incredible warmth. Despite significant language barriers, we quickly got into conversation with people. It was a lot of fun with you guys, thank you! - the german backpackers :)

Stayed a night here after a late ferry, great location right next to the ferry port. A good price for two single rooms. Carpark on the street below the hotel

Room on second floor was very hot although this was during a heatwave!
