One of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have stayed in. The space in the very comfortable rooms was well above average. The welcome and friendliness of the host, and the excellent breakfasts were superb, and in addition to filling our flask with tea each day Paula sent us off with pastries or cake.
Our only slight reservation was the bath. One of us finds sitting in a bath difficult, and it was difficult to use the shower head without getting water on the floor. The other one of us prefers a bath, but found getting in and out of this particular bath, even with the adjacent pole, rather difficult, and once in the bath, it was impossible to reach the (very nice) soap, shampoo,&c on the nearby table. A bath rack would have been very helpful! But this was a minor niggle and we would recommend Ty Llwyd without hesitation.

You know you come across GEMS of places. Quaint, home from home feeling, hosts that make you feel so welcome that you wished you could stay for longer.. Yep..that kind of place! Ty Llwyd, by far, has been the best boutique guest house that we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Both bedrooms were divine - beds comfy, home-made biscuits, overall attention to detail..Exceeded our expectations! The Hosts, Paula and Tina, helped me celebrate my Daddy's 85th Birthday making the whole 2 days such a treat! And don't even get me started with the Breakfast. Every single B&B, Guest House, Hotels need to take a look at what Ty Llwyd provide for their breakfast spread. Homemade croissants, homemade jam.. the list is endless. St David's City is about 15 minute drive, the Old Farmhouse Brewery less than 6mins drive (a must visit). We cannot wait to return! We will be back. Diolch o Awstralia .. with thanks from Australia
What we didn't like was having to leave this incredible place!

We were warmly welcomed by Paula the host. The room was lovely, the bed was so comfy, wonderful homely annd comfortable room. The bathroom was huge with lovely handwash, shampoo annd conditioner annd towels, and there were even home made biscuits waiting! The breakfast in the morning was absolutely fabulous, homemade croissants, bread, granola and jam. It was alll fresh and nothing too much trouble. Really enjoyed our stay in a very peaceful part of west wales
The bathroom was lovely - it would be great if there was a hook for the shower in the bathroom. But this is not something we didn’t like - it’s just a suggestion!

The location was perfect, super quiet, in the middle of the gorgeous countryside. Just short 10 or 15min drives to St Davids, Solva, Abereiddi, Porthgain etc. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfasts were beautiful, lovely fresh food, loads of choice with homemade pastries, granola, bread and preserves. We never went hungry! Our host Paula was friendly, kind and helpful. Loved our stay.

Paula our host was delightful; friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional; the best we have ever had in a B&B . The bedding was very high quality and the bed extremely comfortable . The bathroom was luxurious. The farmhouse is a 10 minute drive to Porthgain with 2 places to eat dinner . Great access to the beautiful coastline too.

Paula was a very attentive host ensuring we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. She gave us great suggestions for local dining, walks and places to visit. Breakfast options were fabulous - with lots of homemade goodies on offer. We also took the opportunity to have dinner (a yummy platter) in the conservatory on our last night. (Thank you Tina x) Our room was large and the bed was very comfy. Loved soaking in the beautiful bath. We can recommend eating at The Shed in Porthgain, Grain in St David’s and coffee at the little kiosk at Porth Clais.
Only suggestion I could make would be for people coming to stay you need to be aware that the roads leading to the BnB are quite small. From Haverfordwest the GPS directed us on a ‘B’ road … although this technically may have been the quickest route I would suggest coming via the 487 towards St David’s and turning off at Croesgoch - you’ll see the signs to the BnB that way

A very warm and genuine welcome from our hostess, Paula. She looked after us beautifully. There was a substantial, tasty, wholesome breakfast. Fresh coffee and tea with homemade cake on arrival. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and beautiful toiletries. The guesthouse was tastefully furnished and there was lots of space to relax and read, there was also an "honesty bar" and fridge we could use. We were shown the large outhouse were we could store our bicycles and nothing was too much trouble. Plentiful parking space and a peaceful location looking out over open fields tucked away from the city of St Davids.

We loved being in the middle of Pembrokeshire with cows grazing peacefully in the field next door and in a beautifully furnished house of very high quality. All rooms were tastefully decorated and the bathroom was extremely well equipped with luxurious ‘green’ toiletries. Although in a small hamlet it did not take us long to visit places of interest and Paula was extremely welcoming and helpful in contacting restaurants near by to make reservations for us. We would never have found the excellent restaurant ´The Shed’ in its amazing old port side location without her recommendation. Breakfasts were delicious and had we realised we could have ordered sharing platters and soup for the evening we would have done so. We loved the experience of being at Ty Lloyd, and recommend staying there without hesitation.
Our room was on the ‘cosy’ side with no comfortable chairs. There was however a very comfortable lounge that we could use with an honesty bar. Our private bathroom was immediately opposite our room but was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and with a great shower.

Paula was a fantastic hostess she took such great care of us - breakfast was amazing - such wonderful choices, and nothing was too much trouble. Also, her care and help with day trips were so wonderful - we really did get the local insider knowledge on the very best places to see. The bath was also such a delight, as was the fire in the lounge area. A real delightful stay.
