Very friendly, welcoming and comfortable hotel. The quality of the breakfast menu was great. The room was excellent. The en suite was particularly good, as it had window (and therefore natural light) and also a bath in addition to the shower, which added a touch of luxury. The location was fantastic, being right in the centre of St Davids - great atmosphere, plus accessible to everything.

Although the breakfast quality was very good, on two of the four mornings of our stay it took a long time to arrive after we ordered - on one of the mornings, it took 40 minutes. Also, some items were missing from the breakfasts that we chose ie. an egg one day and a hash brown on another day....however, this was sorted quickly when we mentioned it to the staff. There was no decaf tea or coffee available in the bedroom - this should be on offer, as many people prefer decaf options these days.

Staff were excellent. Quality of the room was great and the breakfast superb. Location in the town centre was the biggest plus, right next to one of the best pubs in town, the 'Bishops'.

Unfortunately on our first morning we were woken up very early by noises in the room next to us, and then later turning the TV on loudly for the morning news. That evening we went back to our room to sleep but had to knock next door to ask them very politely to turn the TV down (different person/couple) who were more than willing to oblige. This was the only downside in that the sound insulation in room is not good enough.

Great location in the centre of St Davids and the hotel have their own car park. Hotel was lovely and clean, food was great and staff were so friendly and welcoming. They are dog friendly and staff really made a fuss of our dog. Bottles of water were provided in the room and they provide a fridge on the landing with fresh milk for people to use. They also provided a gift for the dog in our room which was a little of box of treats. It’s these extra touches that make such a difference. We will definitely be back!

The only downside was that you could hear some talking from the restaurant below at night but this wasn’t a massive issue at all. They tend to lock the doors at 10pm and we found that shortly after this we couldn’t hear anything.

Perfect location across from the center of town, lovely view. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed and great bathroom, beautifully modernised, Dinner in the pub across the street also owned by the hotel was terrific. The hotel was out of season and so did not have their usual restaurant or bar opened so was very quiet but everything was a few steps away. The staff were so nice, they really were lovely. Free Parking was a benefit so centrally as there generally isn't much in St Davids. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing really. Having a lamp on the dressing table would have helped with the light as it was either too bright, ceiling light or too dim with only lamp on one side of room, but its a minor thing, Wouldn't stop me staying again, I'd just find someone to ask for an extra lamp.

Nice cosy room in a central location, just a short walk to the Cathedral and amenities all close by inc. cafe, farm shop, pubs, gift shops and pharmacy. Parking available on site.

We stayed out of season so bar was closed and no cooked breakfast on offer in the morning (continental available through pre-booked). There was a cafe nearby that did an amazing breakfast though, so not a huge problem and also a couple of cosy pubs across the road to wine and dine in for the evenings. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

We stayed for 7 nights in room 9 which was a decent size especially as we had our dog with us. Beds were comfortable and room was spotless. The breakfast was lovely and food from the restaurant was always great. All of the staff were awesome they made us feel really welcome and always had time for us and our lovely Greyhound ! Brilliant team.

No blind or curtain on the bathroom window.

It’s normally closed in January and February but this year they have opened for bed and breakfast. Breakfast is good basic, cereal, fruit,cheese, toast, tiptree jams etc/. Receptionists wonderful. Rooms clean, comfy, bathrooms spotless. Fine sister pub across the way for good Welsh food. Convenient and pleasant , but the star is such nice, helpful people.

Nothing. It even has good off street parking. And the pub over the way does all the food/ drink you might expect to have found in house in the season.

We recommend booking this property directly with the property and NOT using Booking.com. We had amended our stay to shorten it by one night (days ahead of arrival), which was not a problem with the hotel, but Booking.com still charged us for the additional night. The hotel assured us that a refund would be forthcoming from Booking.com, but this was not the case. We've had to spend additional time jumping through hoops with Booking.com to get the second night refunded, despite the hotel only charging for the one night. Still waiting for the refund. Best to avoid Booking.com altogether!

The room was great & the food & good staff, location was great too , nearest Beach White sands, parking was a bit pricey, especially if you only went for 45 minutes, also most shops don't open till 10am but it was lovely will definitely go again

The only dislike was my food in the evening, ordered garlic sauce with my steak & they brought out peppercorn sauce I didn't realise till I ate it & the potatoes were hard. Also shame for the size of the room they didn't give us twin beds as my mom had the double & l had the camp bed & mattress too hard, especially when you have been driving over three & half hours & then the next day got to drive over four & half hours to your next destination

Location was great for exploring Pembrokeshire. Close to local beaches and attractions. Breakfast was really good quality, staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and with plenty of storage.

The hotel is above the pub/restaurant, and due to the age of the property noise does travel. Luckily all noise downstairs died down by 10/10:30 and I slept well. However noise started in the morning about 6:30 with people setting up breakfast others guests getting up ect. If your a very light sleeper might not be for you.
