We had a truly wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel nestled in the picturesque town of St Davids. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist who gave us a tour of the hotel and personally showed us to our room. The room itself was beautiful - thoughtfully designed, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom exceeded all expectations: a large walk-in shower that could easily accommodate three people, and a deep bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak. The interior decor was tasteful and unique, with original artwork by Welsh artists adding a lovely local touch. One of the real highlights was the coastal view from our room - it was simply breathtaking and made our stay feel even more special. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat on the Welsh coast.

Room was perfect, really well designed and every littl e detail thought through.

We ate dinner the first night, the food was fine but pretty expensive and the service was little too quick, no time to take anything in and we felt a bit rushed. The opposite was true of the breakfast service - slow and felt a bit forgotten at times as we were in the dog friendly room, which was great, but maybe out of site of the too thin on the ground staff. Staff were lovely and very apologetic but they needed more of them, they were just too stretched.

Superb breakfast in lovely restaurant. Evening meal also excellent! Beautiful building, very nicely furnished and decorated, lots of interesting artwork in public spaces and also bedrooms. Very handily placed for easy access to St.David's itself, and to a beach. Room with its own terrace overlooked a horse field, the sea, and distant Skomer Island. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff in Reception and in the restaurant.

It would be difficult to think of any negative aspects.

Breakfast was good although my nieces gluten free toast was soggy .

The breakfast room was very dark not a good start to the morning when it was sunny outside . The atmosphere was very “ corporate “ with dark colours and subdued piped music . I was expecting something more light and airy given the location. No where to have a drink outside and not obvious where the outside was!! Room was stuffy at night and being on ground floor with open access to car park didn’t like to open window.

We were upgraded to a first floor studio for a 3 night stay. The room was indeed special, as were all the staff without exception. We had dinner in the highly rated restaurant and it was indeed really special. Breakfasts were generous, always kept freshly stocked and the cooked breakfasts were very good indeed. Easy to walk into St Davids and it has a large car park.

It is crying out for a spa and swimming pool as the rest of the accommodation and service level is so worth going for. It would encourage longer stays, as St Davids is not a big city (!) and sometimes it rains in Wales and the sea is cold (or tide out...).

Great location - good parking - excellent room. Good service from the welcome offered at reception to the breakfast restaurant. Room was spacious -light &comfortable. Offered a relaxing break whilst visiting family from NZ; our trip was overall to spend time with our sister/inlaw, with terminal cancer, rather than holiday. So an anxious time but also some time out to see a couple places whilst she underwent weekly treatment. Thank you for the unexpected upgrade -it helped make our time 'special'. Having worked in medical recruitment in nz for 25+ years, very aware of 'good hosting' requirements and a pleasure to have stayed with you.thankyou again .

Coffee pods were debatable. Plastic ones worked better but the paper ones not so good. Personal taste - but Brian would have preferred some 'keg' beer options.

Beautiful building, nice view, attractive garden, excellent bathroom with both deep bath and spacious shower. Comfy beds. Location great. Staff lovely. Walls adorned with some very nice art and the breakfast was tasty. Would happily stay again next time I visit Tyddewi.

Didn’t really dislike anything. My travel companion found the lift a bit unnerving because you can see it moving between floors through the translucent inner door but I thought it was cool for the same reason. “Bug or feature? You decide!”

Staff was welcoming and accommodating for every single request made pre and during the travel. There was a bar at the property and the cocktails were really made with care too. Room amenities were excellent and the breakfast was great too! Gotta say the croissants they served were flaky and buttery that I haven’t had in a long time. The hotel is a quick stroll away from the beach, coastal path and the high street of St. Davids The biggest surprise was that there was even some complimentary EV chargers on the site too which made our day trips less of a hassle. Would totally recommend to anyone this place and will certainly be back!

Rooms exceptionally well appointed, fixtures and fittings of an excellent standard, staff particularly amiable and very helpful, dealing with all requests immediately and helpful in every respect. Front desk staff always greeted us with a kind word and a smile, could not be more helpful. The food in Blas Restaurant is of an exceptionally high standard and the waiting staff are terrific. Breakfast is very good and the cooked breakfast is cooked to order, always a bonus in my opinion. Overall Twr y Felin is a fantastic hotel in an excellent location for exploring the gorgeous Pembrokeshire Coast and it’s interesting and scenic towns and villages.

Very little, if indeed, anything. The overall experience was one of total satisfaction. We just loved our visit to Pembrokeshire and staying at Twr y Felin was the best decision we made. It’s proximity to St David’s Cathedral and historic sites is also a huge bonus.

The food and service for Breakfast was excellent but the dining room was so dark - we needed to be in a brighter room Our bedroom was good - plenty of room and the ensuite was well appointed with plenty of hot water Liked the art work on the walls and thought the works going on in the garden/car park area will good when finished.

We felt the hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere - possible because it was early in the season and not many guests staying. Disappointed not to be able to go up to the observatory room due to building works. Thought the wine we bought in the bar was very overpriced.
