Excellent location for the ferry port. Highlight for us was how dog friendly the team were. A well appointed room, with everything we needed. Heating was on for our arrival, very much needed as it was -2° outside! Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, a great menu with locally sourced ingredients and a creative flair. Restaurant was also dog friendly and our whippet was spoilt with some chicken cooked by the very kind chefs :) A shortage of taxis in the town (snow!) led to Dan (Owner) generously offering to take us to the port at the crack of dawn, extremely grateful.

Location was perfect, centre of town with restaurants, hotels, Coop and shops, all within easy walking distance. Breakfast and meals were available at bar downstairs if required but on Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant is closed so we were unable to try the food but all indicators pointed to it being good. We ate out across the road at a good hotel one night and a close by restaurant the other night, also good. Our hotel was very quiet, comfortable & clean and we were able to use their laundry service which proved a bonus. We met the owner, the manager and most staff, all very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Nothing not to like, everything was just just fine although the WIFI and TV reception was a little dicey at times! But we were on holidays and this did not disturb us greatly. Overall we enjoyed our stay here immensely!!

Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice and good sized portions. Staff very friendly and attentive. Easy to top up supplies of tea, milk and sugars for the room. The bedroom was clean, bright and airy and the bathroom had a large shower which was ideal for me as I am a larger lady who needs the extra space! 🙂

Given the age of the hotel, it would have been interesting to have a little potted history of it in the guest folder. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. A couple of minor issues in the bathroom which didn't inconvenience me, but I reported them to reception to make them aware.

Being an apartment it allowed us to save on eating out every night. Beds were comfortable

Could have done with some blackout blinds in the bedrooms as the light from the street lamps shone directly through the windows. Some curtains in the living/kitchen would have been nice as again being able to shield some of the direct sunlight would have been nice. Only other thing would have been a few more kitchen utensils would have been useful. In the bathroom you had to be careful with the bath screen as it made contact with the ceiling!

Everything! We had the apartment. We had a double room each . A large kitchen living room area and large bathroom. There was a sofa in my bedroom. The place was spotless . When we went to check in the apartment wasn't quite ready and we were offered coffee and cake while we waited. .. our breakfast was beautiful and cooked fresh in front of us. The chef knew what he was doing.. food was excellent and very good value for money. The girl who served us was so pleasant and helpful . We visit Fishguard a lot and we will not hesitate to return here.

Room was great. The owners were helpful and charming. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious.

I have heard it described as a restaurant with rooms. Check in procedure had the feel of a B&B rather than a hotel; reception was unmanned. Noone answers the main hotel landline number; this made it awkward for the luggage transfer service to delver my unaccompanied luggage.

Very helpful staff Incredibly good breakfast in a gorgeous dining area We got in late from the ferry so they made sure someone was there to let us in...really helpful young man who also helped with cases and parking. In the morning when we requested vegan options for my son and my mum the owner/chef offered to go out and get ingredients for our request of vegan pancakes. He made fantastic pancakes. But everything on our plates was above expectation. He's an excellent cook.

The beds were comfy and a great shower. The location was perfect in the centre of Fishguard. We had dinner there, which was amazing! The best meal we had of our entire trip. .

As reception is not manned all the time. it did feel a little inpersonal No parking on site, but the public car park was close. . My husband thought the room was a bit warm, but it was ok for me.

Breakfast was exceptional value for money - we did try a local cafe one morning but the hotel was much better . Location was very easy to find, and although no parking, this was so convenient just across the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and were very efficient at their jobs.

There was dust on the skirting boards in the bedroom, and rusty metal shelf in the shower cubicle. However, these were minimal faults to the overall experience of the stay.

The food was phenomenal! We ate there three evenings and it was always delicious. The staff were both friendly and helpful and efficient. Thank you all.

Our apartment was not very good as it was furnished with very worn out furniture. It needed blackout curtains and bed heads and maybe some chairs since the sofa was truly "sat out"! But it was very clean and the bathroom was good. And some lampshades and better bedside lights would have been nice. But still we enjoyed it.....
