Grove Park was easily located just off the coast path and not out of our way. The annex was well equipped with all the modern facilities comfy seating and coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge. The shower room was excellent and very powerful. The breakfast box was dropped off at an agreed time and was full of very nice delicious treats along with some gluten free [coeliac] options which were very well appreciated. Isobel also offered some extra drying facilities for wet boots and clothes which we were very grateful for.

Nothing everything was good

We came here with little expectation having booked it as part of our coastal path walk as a break from camping along the trail. The photographs although lovely don't do justice to the lovely detail that has been spent on thinking about the use of the space. The bed was deliciously comfortable - the shower pressure was divine and the products and fluffy towels were wonderful. There is everything you need and everything in the room feels carefully selected with taste. Welsh cakes with fresh butter on arrival with fresh milk and selection of teas / coffee were such a touch. The breakfast was generous, fresh and such a lovely thing to wake to. We felt so looked after and paired with a dinner at Llys Meddyg up the road made for such a memorable experience. We found many BNBs and hotels to be quite unapologetically lacking on our trip and this one seemed to show real care for what it means to have a lovely relaxing stay in a place.

Nothing - it was divine

This place is very comfortable and the hostess is very attentive , breakfast was different , everything you could want for a healthy hearty breakfast lots of fruit n yoghurt , fresh baked breads with jams , lovely , your a stones throw from Nevern Estury where you can walk along to the coast , the golden lion is a few minutes away , one thing missing was it would have been nice to have some bottled water to drink , as I forgot to bring some , bed was comfy too

Not having water

We stayed here for one night before getting the ferry the next day. It was fabulous. Accommodation was beautiful, full of little touches like welch cakes, herbal teas, books. The most outstanding part though was our host. She was amazing. Our 5 year old was sick. At 9.30pm. we walked from the local restaurant with clothes and shoes covered as a result of this illness. She washed them for us. The following morning our delicious breakfast arrived at the door along with our clothes and shoes which were cleaner than ever before. She really went above and beyond. I couldn't recommend this place enough. I would happily stay here again anytime

Nothing. It was perfect

Our second stay here and the standard has been maintained. Excellent location, quiet, in a charming village with plenty of individual shops and places to eat. Parking is just a few steps away from the property in their own allocated space. Lovely host and great breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, cereals, warm croissants and fresh-baked baguette. Good choice of tea and coffee in the room, with the welcome bonus of fresh milk in the fridge, and Welsh cakes in the room on arrival.

I have never been in such a good accommodation and I travel quite a lot. We will definitely be coming back, if possible! Once you enter the room a pleasant smell that is all around the room will hit you. Exceptional shower, the most cozy and romantic place I have ever visited. Teas, coffee, milk and sugar are provided to make one whenever you fancy. Many books to choose from to read during your free time or you can watch TV. The bed is lovely, a private garden bit... but the best part is the host. Isobel is lovely, always making sure we have everything we need. The most wonderful breakfast is provided that can meet your dietary requirements as well. I am allergic to gluten and Isobel made sure to bring me GF bread and there was even GF cake waiting for us upon arrival! I have honestly nothing to complain about. I was left absolutely amazed. Thank you!

N/A, everything absolutely perfect.

Although the accommodation was compact (as expected) everything was to a high standard: very comfy beds, good linen and towels, well equipped shower room, and lots of thoughtful touches, like a wide selection of teas/coffees and fresh Welsh cakes and butter awaiting us on our arrival. The fresh breakfast, delivered at a time we had chosen, was excellent: choice of yoghurts, big bowl of fresh fruit, granola/muesli, warm French bread, fresh croissants and selection of jams. Isobel was lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Central location, within walking distance to everything in town; just minutes from great hiking locations and outdoor activities. Our host, Isobel, was amazing: timely, responsive, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend the nearby hike at Dinas Head (including the sailor’s safety pub near the trailhead) and the multiple trails just down the street.

It's a stunning property and finished to a really high standard. Loved the decor, the feel and the outside seating area too. Isobel was lovely and so accommodating to dietary requirements. Breakfast delivered each morning, including freshly baked goods, fruit, cereal and yogurt. We really loved the location and free parking right by the property. Lovely and peaceful and comfortable. Will definitely return and recommend for a lovely place to stay in Newport!

We arrived to a fridge with a full carton of plant-based milk and a full carton of cow's milk - a large selection of teas/coffees - plenty of cups/glasses - welshcakes and butter - and a beautifully made up room. The bed was super comfortable and the radiators kept the temperature lovely and cozy. Isobel was so lovely and bought us a huge box of goodies for breakfast including a warm baguette & croissants, museli, bananas, yoghurts and a huge fruit salad - gutted we couldn't eat it all but so appreciated after a night out at the local hotel. We all thought it was such good value for money and will be recommending her place to our friends and family.

Nothing not to like - just a shame we couldn't stay longer.
