The location of The Nags Head is superb. It's in an idyllic spot on the edge of a river with loads of scenery & nature surrounding it. You can walk to numerous places to take in further views over the valleys or view the waterfalls or you can just sit & enjoy the river running past as you have a drink. The food at The Nags is exceptional & we always try to eat here several times during our stay. There is always something else on the menu that you want to explore, but there just isn't enough time or room in your stomach! Zoe & the team are fantastic hosts & nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here numerous times in the past & always recommend it to our family & friends who might be in the area. We will be back!

Nothing. We can't think of anything that they could do except to open 7 days rather than the 5 days, but then the staff wouldn't get the rest that they need. It really isn't an issue!

The food is excellent and the service prompt and friendly. The hostess was very hospitable but I never exchanged so much as a glance with the host during three days. The locals were up for a chat and helpful - made for a welcoming feel. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for my requirements. Lovely snug around a wood fire but taken over for two of my three nights by boozers and the landlord. Landlady was helpful with tips for driving to local beauty spots and there was a generous collection of literature available for guests. Parking was superb.

A desk in the room would have been ideal for my typing. I also missed electric charging, although this lack is standard in West Wales. The hotel would do themselves a favor by installing some charging points - there is plenty of space. The noisy drinkers in the snug. Otherwise I would have spent my evenings in the bar instead of in my room

The staff were very attentive. Zoe in particular stood out as a very committed and hard working member of the team as she was there at breakfast right through to when the pub closed in the evening. The breakfast was very good with a great selection to cater for all tastes. The location was great with plenty of outside seating overlooking the river and old welsh stone bridge. The food was excellent as always as we've eaten here on many occasions. The outside seating area is very dog friendly with good undercover tables and benches.

I loved this cosy country inn next to the river. From the moment I arrived, i was greeted with a friendly smile. From Zoe, such a pleasant, lovely woman. She showed us to our rooms very nice quiet and the shower was lovely. The food in the restaurant in the evening was freshly prepared and delicious. And the breakfast was freshly prepared and we were well looked after though out our stay I want to say thank you to Zoe and all the team for a positive wonderful stay i would highly recommend booking the Nags heard inn I look forward to hopefully staying again in the future warm wishes

The Nags Head Inn is a great traditional Inn. The location is pretty isolated but all the more appealing for it. A stream runs right passed the beer garden under a stone bridge. Picture postcard. The food is excellent and portions sizes are generous. Choice of beers is reasonable. Most produce is locally sourced and all the better for it. Staff are friendly and you're shown to your room. It's also very clean.

The bedrooms are adequately sized but the bed was a standard double i.e. not that large.

What a little gem! We booked our one-night stay at the Nag’s Head at the last minute and quite randomly, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the location peaceful, and the staff (Zoey in particular) were incredibly kind and helpful. We also really enjoyed a delicious dinner in the pub. The place totally exceeded our expectations, with amazing value for money and thoughtful touches like excellent shower products. Highly recommended!

Staff very welcoming, and ensured a personal stay. Room was comfortable, having a small table would be a bonus but space probably limited that. Bedroom window a bit difficult to open but staff were happy to help. Had evening meal both nights at the Nags Head, both extremely good. Breakfast perfectly cooked, hot, and tasty! Overall a very comfortable place to stay for a short break. And appreciated that they have bilingual staff.

The Nags Head Inn is in a great location with a large beer gatrden overlooking a river . The rooms were well appointed and very clean . We had two great traditional breakfasts there and ate in the restaurant each evening . The food was amazing ! Zoe our host gave us a great welcome and was so helpful during our stay too . Would definitely come back to stay next year !

We stayed for just two nights and wish we had booked a longer stay !

All good. Lovely country gastro pub. Room was quality with excellent bed and shower. The place is spotless. The restaurant was suitably atmospheric and the food a cut above normal pub fodder. Pricing was fine and some interesting drink choices. Plenty for Veggies and they even have a separate Vegan menu if that's your bag. The breakfast was a tad functional, but fine... and the location is idyllic. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

No hassle for us, but the stairs to the room were a little steep. Breakfast was fine, with a Veggie option, but a choice of fresh fruit and yogurt would have been welcome.

The Nags Head Inn is located in a very quaint area, very pretty by the river. I went for a lovely woodland walk. Zoe the housekeeper is very kind, very obliging to my needs. Breakfast was good, options were given as I am on a diet. I would have liked to stay longer. If I come back to the area I will stay in the Nags Head Inn again.

The only thing I can think of is the chlorinated tap water. I was offered bottled water and one or two of the bottles were strongly chlorinated.
