Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to stay at the main house , Christine kindly offered us the self contained cottage at no extra charge, we were so pleased with the upgrade , the cottage was perfect. Clean , comfortable and once the log fire was at full tilt was cosy and warm 🥰

Only slight negative was the very low water pressure so the shower was a trickle and we would have loved a bath but the water wasn’t hot enough nor fast enough to fill the bath , maybe have the settings on the boiler adjusted for more heat although I am aware there is a set temperature for rentals and such like , maybe a water pump to boost the flow?

A lovely setting, peaceful, good facilities, ample space for parking. The bathroom seemed relatively new, roomy with especially a good shower. A lounge with very comfy chairs was provided for guest. The bedroom looked over a pebbled ‘courtyard’, with woodland behind the self-catering stone built cottages that surrounded the ‘courtyard’. The bedroom was spacious, with amenities for Wi-Fi, drinks and Tv.. The bed was very good in terms of being comfy and supportive without it being too firm. The room was big enough to fit a larger bed, say a King-size, which would be far more appealing. The breakfasts were superb! The host was most pleasant, open to sharing in good conversation.

The room and its en-suite bathroom were both excellent, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, television and a mini fridge, and the bathroom has both a shower and a tub bath. The breakfasts were delicious, including eggs from the owner's hens and lovely home-made bread. Christine was very warm and welcoming. We would recommend Troedyrhiw unreservedly to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced and very comfortable B & B in a beautiful rural location.

We couldn't see any way that it could have been improved

Beautiful and peaceful. Amazing cooked breakfast and toast with fruit, yoghurt, fresh fruit and as much tea and coffee as you could drink. Lovely bathroom with a rain fall shower. Stunningly clean. The area around the B&B was breathtaking and real calm and tranquil place. So so quiet with a lovely walk around the area that was perfect for our puppy.. So much he woundnt get in the car many mornings.. A short drive to many attractions.. 10 mins the beach and town, 20 to new quay where we saw dolphins.

Would be nice to have a little table and chairs outside as the outside space was so beautiful. Bed slightly too hard for me, but that's more a preference.

Breakfast, vegetarian, was enquired about by Christine beforehand and was presented as requested. Guests lounge was very comfortable and had been prepared with a fire already going before arrival. 'Meeting and greeting' was appreciated and the host, Christine, explained all that was necessary to explain without spending too much time on it. I felt that if I needed more info about the local area then Christine would have been happy to help.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Christine could not do enough for you and she was very pleasant. Homemade bread was gorgeous, and eggs fresh from the chickens in the gardens. If you want a relaxing time in beautiful surroundings then this is the place for you.

We had to come home.

Off the main routes makes it very quiet, perfect for what we required. On suite very large bathroom with option of both a bath and a separate shower. Friendly dog to fuss, horse, pony and pig in the adjacent field adds to the Country feel.

The room had a comfortable bed but was a standard 4’6” double, if you’re used to a king size or a super king you may find your partner closer than normal. The TV is fully functional, could do with being a little larger in today’s super size TV’s.

It was out of the way, secluded in the lovely countryside alongside a stream. The room was spacious and the ensuite more than adequate. The host was pleasant and helpful.

The bed was a little small, my other half is 6ft3, we managed but a longer double bed would be more ideal. Breakfast was delicious but had to ask for extras like baked beans to accompany the rest of the cooked breakfast and black pudding was a no go because the host didn't like it.

It is in a very remote location, has nice breakfasts, and has free parking. The rooms are spacey and clean, with nice interiors and settlements. Very nice host.

The double bed could be wider. I booked a room with a private bathroom; indeed, we had one, but it was located outside of the room, which is not so "private" anymore as you need to dress to get there and not offend other guests that may appear in the shared corridor.

Comfortable farm house feel. Nice sized room, lots of natural light, excellent breakfast, attentive, informative host. Well paved road with good directions for finding it. Off the beaten track but still convenient for walks and town nearby (car essential). Pigs, chickens, sheep and a horse in the fields nearby. Quiet.

Once I had found the farm, it was difficult to work out which house was the owners, especially as the place was deserted of people, but numerous cars evident (arriving at 7pm in the summer). I almost forgot to pay, as prepayment was secured on the credit card, but payment in full was taken on departure. This may be less of a problem for those staying longer than one night (recommended due to location).
