Perfect location, very close to the beach and a short walk to good dinner places. Aircon and fan worked well. Space to dry clothes inside and two stools outside. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got to keep our towels after checkout so we could use their outdoor shower later in the day before we left. They provided scooter rental, 400 pesos a day. The scooter worked well. They also looked out for our luggage before checking and after checkout.

There was no shower curtain so the bathroom got very wet. Also no way to regulate temperature in the shower, only sun-heated water. The beach was nice but be aware of the tides. Low tide in the morning, so difficult to swim, but you can still cool down in the water. No sun beds but clean and white sand.

I stayed in one of the garden rooms at the back on the road side, the wifi was very hit and miss, but the staff were all FANTASTIC, super helpful, friendly and informative. The location is great, right next to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again. Perfect for couples or solo traveler’s.

WiFi was unstable for me to work remotely, which wasn’t the end of the world, it just meant I had to go to a cafe… of which there is a lovely one right next door!

We stayed at 2 other hotels in Siquijor and came back here- we had a great stay however it depends on the room. We stayed in 3 different room types here and each was different and had its benefits and negatives. 2x double bed- spacious, our favorite room, clean quiet, ac was louder and drained the noise which was a big plus 1 double bed- basic but all you need, ac was louder and drained out the local noise Kitchen room- very spacious, newer feeling, good shower head, having the kitchen to prepare food was good with badic supplies Overall great location, helpful staff and great location. Water provided- some of our best sleeps in the Philippines

The pictures showing its by the water are incorrect- we originally booked cause we thought it was right on the water. Its across the street from the water but you have access to the beach through seaside hotel! The larger kitchen room had a new ac unit which was quiet so noise wasnt drowned out. Theres also some kind of bar next door that plays music until 9pm with loud dogs Beds were a bit firm for my liking but depends on how hard you like beds..

Golden sunset inn is in a beautiful central location of San Juan. It is an excellent budget accommodation, great price and exceptional staff. I cannot stress enough how friendly and accommodating the staff were during our stay. This accommodation appears to be renovated more and more. It is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for basic room in a central location with access to the pool. We rented bikes from the hotel too which was really good to access the beautiful nearby beaches

It is basic - but brilliant value for money and very clean

The sunset is just infront of our balcony. The staff is very accommodating especially when we want to upgrade our room. The room is very new, spacious with a good water pressure and hot shower. Netflix is a plus, we enjoy it a lot. Restaurants are near by, you can just walk around. Across the road has a good breakfast cafe restaurant.

Adding a coffee, bottle of water and basic toiletries aside from toilet paper would be nice for its price. Wifi password too, since we havent got any wifi access for our whole stay. But would love to recommend this place. Will come back for sure.

Nice room. There is a small swimming pool that you can jump in. Nice location too. There are eateries just outside or within short distance. There is kitchen in room too. The person at reception was nice and sweet. Drinking water is available from the reception.

The shape of room is such that it was blocking the air conditioning air. Had to ask for fan which was high speed fortunately and helped manage the situation.

Upon check in the staff were friendly & accommodating. She gave helpful tips & instructions. The room is clean & spacious for a couple to have a good rest after a day full of adventure in this beautiful island. But what I liked the most was their readily available generator that automatically turns ON when the electricity goes out. The temperature in the island is soaring & the importance of continuous AC &/or electric fan is huge. We will surely recommend this place to our friends & family for future trips here in this amazing island. Thank you.

Deluxe Triple Room with Seaview. Perfect location, right in the beach & close to restaurants and bars. Make sure you book a Seaview rooms as the other half of the rooms are across the road from the beach. Perfect beach for swimming and watching the sunset. Seaview rooms are large with good aircon. Staff are super helpful with transfers and bike rental.

The front desk clerk, Ronnie, was very helpful in assisting us throughout our stay. From providing us info about the tours, pick up from port, accommodation, to the day during check out. If you are looking for ideal location at an affordable price, this one is recommended. You dont need to find the best spot for sunset view. Just book a beach front view at Golden Sunset Inn and you wont be disappointed..

I stayed here for just 1 night since I decided last minute that I wanted to extend my stay in Siquijor for 1 more day and boy was I so happy to find this. Very clean, location was good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth staying compared to the hotel I previously booked the days prior which was too expensive and only focused on the aesthetics and forgot about customer service and regular cleaning of the room. 10/10 would recommend.
