A very spacious room with a sofa and TV area — super clean and well organised. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel offers easy access with convenient parking. Just a few minutes’ walk away is a great local brewery that stays open late, unlike many other places in Hope. This is an excellent stopover to unwind after trips from the Rockies, or when heading onward to Vancouver or the ferries to Vancouver Island. We only stayed one night, but Hope itself seemed mostly made up of motels, gas stations, and takeaways.

I’ve never stayed anywhere with so many signs and instructions. Rules were everywhere, from strict instructions not to wear shoes in your room to wipes in the bathroom with notes to use for make-up removal. Another first for me was breakfast: it was served at a single sitting at 8:00 a.m., with a note stating that if you weren’t there by 8:15 a.m., the food would be cleared away.

We stayed a single night in the Evergreen B&B on our trip from the Rockies to Vancouver and would absolutely recommend this stay if you‘re on a similar trip! The house is beautifully located, decorated and (self) check in is easy if you check your emails regularly 😉 What we loved the most was the love for detail that was put into everything: Breakfast, Tourist Information, etc. Christian was also a great person to speak to during breakfast and he even kept track of our time to leave so we would not miss out on our ferry time. Hope itself seems to be nice for a short stay, we can especially recommend the Moose Cafe in the „city“ centre and the Brewery next door. Till next time!

Breakfast was very good - granola, fresh fruit, croissants, yogurt. It was the cleanest B&B I've ever stayed in and extremely convenient. Fantastic assortment of extras such as iron and ironing board, downstairs leisure room with extra supplies games etc. Very thoughtful.

It was absolutely contactless. We never met the host or family. We were only able to contact them by text. It took a while for the house to receive our text as he was out of the country. We were concerned that if we accidentally got locked out it would take a while to get help. The family lived in the same building and I suppose we could have knocked on their door.

Hope was a pleasant interlude on our way back to Vancouver from the Rockies. Evergreen is a lovely place. It is very quiet and very comfortable. Our room was exceptionally large and well appointed. We found dinner just 100 meters away at the Mountain View brewery. The check in procedure with a door code went smoothly. Our breakfast companions were gregarious, as was our host who gave us our food. He spoke about his family, life in Hope, floods, fire etc. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike.

Absolutely everything. From check in to check out Christian was a FANTASTIC host. We were made very welcome on arrival. Very helpful advice on where to go for dinner, local site seeing spots, onward travel recommendations and MUCH,MUCH more. Our room, Serenity Suite was beautiful with every ammenity you could think of. Extremely spacious, very comfortable bed and sofa and LOTS of everything that you would need. Breakfast was delicious. VERY highly recommended if you are visiting the town of Hope. You would be foolish to miss this GEM of accommodation. Many thanks again for a FANTASTIC stay.🙂

Absolutely nothing at all.

It was a quiet place and beautifully decorated. Very well thought out and exceptionally well organized. The owner was wonderful, very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was to order and very good. I had the best cappuccino I’ve had in ages. I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area

I liked everything about the place but I didn’t like the repeated emails before our arrival. really annoying and unnecessary

Christian (host) has posted a sign in the room regarding breakfast, how to be on time at the table so the food is nice and hot. Because this is a boutique hotel, meeting the other guests at breakfast time was a pleasant way to start the day in the common room. I very much liked the "Japanese feel" such as removing one's shoes before entering a room. The glass sliding door to the balcony opens easily. At night, there is little traffic and the sliding door can be left open as desired. During the day, the door creates a most excellent sound barrier. The bed is very comfortable and the bed linens are top notch. Overall, the Evergreen is very comfortable, affordable and very unique. Highly recommended.

there are stairs to negotiate from the street level up to the entrance. But the steps are wide and there are railings to use.

The 2 of us stayed in a super comfortable bed, surrounded by everything you need. Black-out curtains, coffee, and tea in the room. There is plenty of space for luggage. Large mirrors and a few extras in the bathroom like q-tips and make-up remover wipes. A beautiful fireplace or AC is also a plus!. Breakfast was a nice choice of waffles or a traditional breakfast of toast and scramble eggs, with plenty of fancy coffees , tea, and juice. The self check in was a breeze, and Christian, the owner, was super friendly! I highly recommend this place !

Breakfast was very good. There was a choice of two breakfasts, We filled out a menu card the evening before. Inviting breakfast room. Breakfast came with lots of fruit, toast, scrambled eggs , blueberry jam, coffee and orange juice.

Wasn't keen on reading so many rules and regulations, but I can understand why they were necessary as there is no concierge, no at the desk when you check in. Also didn't care for all the things you need to do to book the room and obtain the combination to open the door on arrival.

Nestled in a grove of trees, private balcony to sit outside, just off main hwy but not noisy at all. Lovely fully equipped suite! Amazing host Chris cooked our breakfast and offered 3 choices of super food, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, blueberries and waffles. Expressing coffee maker, visited with fellow travers before leaving and had supper at a brewery right next door!
