First we were greeted by the property cat Lucky which sent this stay to the next level. He walked around with us everywhere we went. They have a beautiful lawn area with picnic tables that allow you to smoke. The beds were quite comfortable and it was clean. Updated and very comfortable. Would stay there again!

Even tho there is a kitchenette it’s tiny and not sure how one would cook or clean dishes but we didn’t need that anyways. Nothing to complain about just something I noticed.

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. We had a lovely morning giving Lucky the motel cat scritches. The kids loved the funky LED colour change lights beside the bed. Fantastic for a short term stay for a family of four. Would be a good long term rental for one or two people max.

The stove in the kitchenette was way too big for the room, I think a hot plate would be a better choice in this small space. I would also recommend dusting behind the bedside tables. I am sure I’m not the only one who would look back there for a plug in!

for such a tiny space it was very well appointed - even a mini sized kitchen complete with microwave, apartment sized refrigerator, and stove/oven, table and chairs! The bed and pillows were super comfy. After a long day's drive, that was most appreciated. Our room was located on the end, up the side of the complex - just far enough away from the main highway that traffic noise was minimal. In the washroom, there was a tray of toiletries laid out including extra toothbrushes and toothpaste. So thoughtful. We even discovered a couple of pairs of house slippers to use. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.

We are especially careful with being as scent-free as possible, mainly due to lung issues. Because of that, we had to remove the wall sconce air freshener from the room. The laundry fabric softener used was also quite overpowering.

The motel was clean and had many amenities and extras for a motel which is so reasonable in price.. The motel even provided an extra large fluffy dog bed with a fitted sheet to cover. I’m really impressed with the new appliances. I travel with my small dog and a young lady with Down syndrome and I must say we really enjoy this motel( we have stayed at others in Hope but we choose this place due to the cleanliness, small extras like the toiletries, location is walkable to get food and a gas station. The motel has adequate wifi and the tv has ports to be able to use our Roku stick- the lady I look after needs her on the road). I would suggest bringing an extension cord if you need multiple outlets.

Could use an extension cord for the room in the event more outlets required(or offer one)

Loved that they called to make sure we were coming as we were late. Asked if we wanted the ac on for when we showed up 💚 Love that you park right outside your room. Bed was very comfortable, pillows also almost wanted to take one home lol LARGE tv but didn't get to use as we got there very late In the morning my truck wouldn't start and the fella working was quick to lend us a set of booster cables

Hot and cold in the show not consistent. Would go ice cold to boiling hot in seconds

Many new appliances and fixtures. The staff were exceptional. We were shown to our room. That was something we did not expect, a service that used to be many years ago, and nice to see again.

There are ashtrays and chairs outside each room. While noone was smoking while we were there, if they were, that would be a negative for sure as smoke would make it's way into the nearby rooms. If smoking was allowed, it should be far away from the buildings in an open gazebo near the highway.

Everything about this motel is fantastic. We discovered it earlier this year when we were traveling back from Vancouver. First of all, there are two separate rooms which are super convenient when it comes to staying with someone else then your spouse or partner. The rooms are very clean. There is a kitchenette with a full size fridge and a regular stove. Beds are comfortable. We've stayed in different motels and hotels and Mountain View Hope Motel beats them all by far.

This motel is on the road that goes through the lovely town of Hope. A few dozen steps along to the left is a fantastic brewery with gorgeous home brews, lovely staff and great food. Walking distance to the shopping streets and post office, also I easily found the riverside walk where you can see information boards and chainsaw carved sculptures. The views from there are lovely. The motel itself is set back from the road with ample parking and some picnic benches on the grass. I had a lovely welcome. My room had two beds, the room I used was further away from the front and there was a door which I shut overnight. I slept really well. The owner/manager asked people to keep the noise down outside when it was only about 7pm! So the guests having a peaceful experience is important to him. My room was clean and bright and I loved the decor with red satin cushions and extras like a touch control bedside lamp. The TV was enormous! There was a well equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, fridge and decent coffee machine. In the bathroom there was a cute basket including toothpaste and a tiny pack with cotton buds and an emery board. I loved Hope and I really liked this motel.

We were thrilled with the full sized fridge and freezer and the kettle was an unusual and much appreciated addition. Stylish furniture and very comfortable bed.

The only thing that might have been better was the water temperature in the shower- which fluctuated quite a bit from hot to cold in the earlier morning hours. Still very nice and I'm sure we will be staying here again en route from the Interior to Vancouver Island.

The room was very clean, some updating in the room, loved the many “surprise bonuses” (slippers provided, bathroom basket had toothbrushes/paste, comb, razor and much more, very nice/new tea kettle, very new/modern alarm clock/ph charger, stainless steel apt size fridge, satin pillowcases and more! Check in was quick and simple, very congenial and accommodating staff.

Bit of traffic noise (which should be expected given the location)-but no reflection on the motel itself
