The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Clean bathroom and towels. Hot water arrived immediately and there was good water pressure. Coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator in the room. The front desk staff were very polite Korean people. I set the AC to 22 for the noise, but not too cold, and the baseboard heaters to 19 and the room was very comfortable. I liked the location 2 blocks off the highway. No traffic noise at all.

It's a popular place, so many of the rooms full. When I arrived I was a little intimidated by the number of vehicles in the parking lot. You park right outside your room, old school style. But it was safe and everything was fine. Once inside my room with the AC on, I didn't hear anything and the other guests kept to themselves.

Room was bright and VERY clean. Newly installed hard surfaces. Nice size mini fridge/freezer. A/C worked well and was quite compared to other hotels we stayed at on this trip.

Day of check in we were called and told the King room was no longer available and we would have to take a queen room. Bath towel had tears and holes. Soft surfaces looked like circa 1970's

We stayed here on our last night of a 3 week road trip around Canada before heading back to Vancouver Airport. The reason I say that is because it was by far above the rest of our stats for best value for money. It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. It was very quiet and felt really secure. Highly recommended 👍

We were headed east and we knew we wanted a stop in Hope. It was easy in, easy out, the trees are beautiful. It was very quiet I slept soundly. We had a fantastic Japanese dinner very near by and a scrumptious breakfast on our way ut of town. People in town were very friendly.

It is a motel not a hotel but it served us very well.

The family suite was a huge room, with a separate bedroom off to the side, two beds in the main room, and one bathroom to share. The main room also had a table with 6 chairs and a small kitchen. This worked well for 2 couples traveling together, but would also be great for a family of 6. The beds were very comfortable. The motel is just a couple of blocks from downtown, which we explored in the morning. The area is beautiful, especially the canyon between Hope and Lillooet.

The sign in the kitchen saying that use of it would include extra charges was inhospitable. Why should there be extra charges for part of the space we already paid for, especially if the kitchen is left clean? Some of our towels were very frayed and needed to be replaced. It would be helpful to have ice in the kitchen's freezer. The side bedroom got very warm at night.

I did not like the fact that there was an extra charge for use of the kitchen. That should have been included in the cost of the room. Also I object to the excessive pet charge. The charge is to cover the cost of any extra cleaning so the charge should be X amount of dollars PER STAY since the extra cleaning is only done at the end of the stay. The Skagit charged per dog, per night which really mounts up over a two or three day stay and far exceeds the actual cost of the one time cleaning. A bit of a rip off in my view. We travel extensively to competitions with our two dogs and they are never left in the room, they don’t bark and sleep in their crates. Most hotels only charge per dog per stay with is much more fair

Recently renovated room with bathtub, fridge, and coffee machine. They even provided extra pillows 😊. The room also had a corner with a sofa and desk for relaxing in the evening. The hotel is directly in Hope, you can walk everywhere 🚶‍♀️. Your car is parked directly in front of the room, which I like 🚗. The staff was really friendly 🙂. Excellent view, too 🌲!

Nice location, old style court yard with cars at the door, not accessible for theft of catalytic conv.. Very quiet, large trees, fenced yard ,nice landscaping on the edge of family neighborhood. Everything new inside 1 story units, no upstairs to be noisy! Air conditioning but windows that are screened and will open, can be locked in position, quieter and just as cool by late evening because of lake and mountains. Lots of info available about where to go out to eat.

Towels were a little small and thin, there wasn't a heat lamp but was an electric heater in bathroom . Floors are cool. No kuerig but coffee maker and mugs. Plastic cups in the bathroom. Very little not to like . Motel is old but in good repair and it is rather nostalgic reminiscent of the early 50,'s.

Being an Inn or Motel the room was very spacious and clean. Beautiful mountains behind the property. Great location. Very clean. Basic amenities but very adequate for a short stay.

There was nothing to complain about. Well no tea in the room but coffee was provided

We were travelling in sub-zero temperatures with icy roads. Although the motel was an older property, we were very pleased to find the room was very warm and comfortable. It had been recently renovated and everything was brand new, including the mattress and bedding.
