Usually, when a reviews say a hotel is in the renovation process, it means the rooms have been painted a new color and maybe given a new mattress. But this hotel took renovation seriously. The king room we stayed in was large, and the big surprise was the kitchenette which had a two burner electric stove, a small apartment sized refrigerator with a freezer, and all the cooking materials needed to make easy meals. But the true star was the renovated bathroom. The walk-in shower was generously sized and had both a rain, head showerhead, and a handheld. Normally in a hotel when you are given towels, they are at best. “large”. The towels here are actual bedsheets that you can wrap nearly twice around yourself. I must admit when we first drove up, because they are in the middle of renovating the outside, I wondered if we had made a good choice. But after three perfect nights of sleep, we knew we had made the right choice. For people who are traveling with pets, Memorial Park is right across the street, and you have access to numerous recreational opportunities for both you and your pet. This will be a true gem inside and out when the renovation is completed.

My only suggestion would be perhaps another chair in the large room in addition to the one at the desk. Or perhaps a small table since guests can cook in the room.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Hope We had a fantastic stay at the Windsor Hotel! Bed: Super comfortable with soft, fresh-smelling white linens and plenty of pillows — perfect for a good night’s sleep. Room: Spacious, clean, and newly renovated. There was lots of room for our suitcases, plus great amenities like a large coffee machine, new fridge, microwave, and convenient USB plugs. Bathroom: Modern and spotless with a beautiful mirror offering different lighting settings, and a relaxing rain shower. Tip: Ask for a second-floor room with a park view — the balcony is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the scenery, and you can also keep an eye on your vehicle. Location: Right in the heart of downtown, directly across from the park and close to coffee shops and other amenities — everything was within walking distance. Staff: Exceptionally sweet, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel genuinely welcome. Value: Excellent value for the price. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already decided to book again for our next visit to Hope. Highly recommended!

Not sure if there was an ice machine

They have done some amazing renovations and feels modern. The showers are fantastic with the cool lighted mirror that has a defogger function. Beds are comfortable, and overall, we had a wonderful stay. I'm definitely going back. I love Hope, and I stay there often for my getaways. I've stayed at the Windsor over the years and am happy to see all the upgrades. The Motels in Hope have been in need of upgrades and happy to see Windsor, and Alpine Motel is sitting at the top of my go-to's for my weekend escapes. All I ask is that you keep your rates competitive as that plays a role in my selection, and I enjoy staying at the Windsor for its history, location, and wonderful hospitality. Our suite was a kitchenette and had plates and cutlery, etc. When going to clean dishes before departure we noticed there wasn't any dish soap or clothes so we had to go to the desk and ask. Be careful because you will be charged a cleaning fee if you leave dirty dishes behind. It's likely just a small oversight

Hotel location, room was clean, staff were so nice, check in was easy, views were nice. Very basic motel well worth the price. Kitchenette. Off street parking. Very quiet. I think the motel was close to full and we didn't hear any other guests unless we were in the hallway at the same time. The clean laundry smelled great. Hot water as soon as you turn it on. Good water pressure. Regular drip coffee pot. Non stick mat for shower.

Our air conditioner had a hard time keeping up and cooling the room. The shower is mounted very low, I'm 5 foot 5 and it was at my shoulders. The kitchenette doesn't have much for dishes so if you plan to cook bring your own stuff. One pot, one pan, setting for 2 people and one stir spoon. I was equipped so it didn't bother me.

Exceptional modern spotless rooms. Due to ongoing construction parking wasn't the best, but later, after the workmen left, we were able to park in the lot behind the motel. Friendly service. The new shower with rainfall shower head was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The heated mirror in the bathroom worked great and provided a night light.

Street parking and no direct access to room from parking like in most motels. Other than that I would highly recommend.

Basically everything! I just spent a night there and the bed was comfy. Balcony with good view. Parking at the door.

I didn't find elevator to the second floor, where my room was (maybe it was there). Also - I don't like any additional noises in my room - so I switched off the fridge, which I didn't need. I do that everywhere. And I found a puddle of water in the morning around the fridge - had to remove it. Luckily, non of my stuff was around. Just be aware of that

Room was recently renovated and very cozy. Location excellent, in town centre with several very good restaurants within a city block. In coming months the rest of the motel will all be renewed and will be a good choice for a stay in Hope, BC.

Minor problem, they could not supply a tea bag so we could make tea in the room in the evening, but regardless, we enjoyed a 4 block walk to Tim Hortons for tea. Walk was good after driving all day.

Room was freshly modernized, excellent washroom and shower with new low step shower pan, very comfortable kingbed with lots of space overall in room. Quiet building with restaurants nearby and directly across the street from park. Easy parking on street or behind. Checkin very quick & easy. Arbaaz (gentleman who assisted with checkin) was very accommodating, welcoming and pleasant.

Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and also had a little deck out front with a table and chairs. A decent sized room for the price. There is open parking on the street, as well as in the back.

The motel is across the street from a park, which is where teens gather to socialize when it is late. The street was noisier than the motel. The shower head is suitable for people under 5'6". I'm 5'10", and the shower head was only neck high on me.

This was one of the best motels or even hotels that we have stayed in! The price was so affordable but the quality was easily as good as many much more expensive hotels. Super comfortable bed, amazing bedding and the bathroom was so gorgeous including a relaxing rain shower. Cooking facilities were also outstanding. I would not stay anywhere else in Hope.
