Theros is a beautiful hotel at a great location. It is very close to the beach, and beach bars whilst the main clubs are also within a stones throw distance. You will find a great lounging area by the pool, great food within the restaurant and the rooms are well put together with lovely designs. At checkout, there was a polite gesture where we were given a nice olive oil pot with olive oil and it serves as a nice reminder of our first time in Kos and staying at Theros. I will be returning to this hotel for sure!

What a unique, rustic and immaculate place. I liked everything from naturally designed rooms, the integration of nature into the concept of the hotel, the little gardens and the design of the place. It is truly a reflection of the quiet and meditative style of re-energising and getting your focus back. A huge thanks to Ece, Panos and Erika who were truly very accommodating, helpful, kind, understanding and fun!

Beautiful property with a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was incredible and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They even came to our room on my partner’s birthday so sing to him and give him a cake which was such a lovely unexpected surprise! Cleaning staff were also lovely! Only a 20min walk to Kos town but bikes or scooters are readily available. Beach was quiet and relaxing with, again, very lovely and attentive staff down there. Would definitely stay again.

Clutching at straws to think of a negative but they have a playlist that is only 1-2 hrs long at both restaurants/pools - it’s actually great chilled soul/blues music (Teskey Brothers, Chris Stapleton etc.) but it can get a bit repetitive after a week. By no means did this affect our enjoyment of our stay in any way, but just a thought to increase the length of playlists and/or the amount of playlists you have on loop :)

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel in Kos! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. The setting felt luxurious without being over the top. Every detail was well thought out, from the stylish decor to the comfortable loungers by the pool. We especially appreciated the personal approach and how much everyone went above and beyond to help us celebrate our engagement and my (early) birthday. The food and drinks were excellent. The location is also ideal – tucked away enough to feel peaceful, yet still close to beaches and local spots when you want to explore. Thank you for making our stay so special, we cannot wait to come back!

I have stayed in some of the world’s most renowned hotels, from Marina Bay Sands in Singapore to the Park Hyatt in Tokyo and the Ritz-Carlton in Honolulu, along with many others of similar caliber. Each was impressive in its own way, but a few months later none truly stayed in my memory. Until Theros! I came here last October, planning to stay just a couple of days. The hotel looked beautiful in photos, but these days everything is enhanced by Photoshop and AI, so I thought “Looks good, probably not as good in reality, but fine for a short stay.” I was so wrong. I ended up staying for one month, until they closed for the season in November. This place is *by far* the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The architecture, landscaping, atmosphere, and attention to detail in everything are hard to put into words, and photos simply do not do it justice. You have to see and feel this place in person to truly understand. And all of this would mean nothing without the wonderfully friendly people who run the place and make the magic work so well. It’s not just a five star hotel, It is in a category of its own, a place you will never want to leave!

Can’t be more perfect than this!

A Perfect Escape on Kos Thank you for an unforgettable stay at your stunning hotel on the island of Kos. Architecturally exquisite and tastefully designed, the hotel radiates elegance, peace, and thoughtful luxury in every detail. A true sanctuary – refined, serene, and full of soul. A family-run hotel where you can feel the personal touch in every detail. A heartfelt thank-you to Cali, the heart and spirit of this place. She has a natural gift for hospitality — warm, attentive, and always with a genuine smile. Her presence truly elevated our experience and made it deeply personal and memorable. We leave with full hearts and lasting memories. Until next time. Warmest regards, Ana & Ivan

The rooms, restaurant, and pool were very nice and comfortable.

The seaside was within walking distance but not right in front of the hotel. There was no bar or a dedicated waiter constantly available by the seaside; the waiters had to come from the hotel to take orders. Also I had mentioned in a message to the hotel that it was our wedding anniversary, but nothing special was done. Although I saw availability for a pool share room on Booking, I was told there was no availability when I asked for an upgrade, and we were instead offered an upgrade to a higher-priced private premium room.

Overall the hotel was incredible, one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was brilliant with a wide range to choose from. The two pools were both great and really relaxing during the day. The location was ideal with only a 15 minute walk into the town but far out enough for it to feel more relaxed and peaceful. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

These are only small points and just reflective of paying a higher price point: Although there is a glass bottle of water in the fridge, it would be nice to have additional bottles or cans, the fridge also didn’t really ever get up to temp for us. During busy periods the sun beds were constantly full with people reserving early in the morning. Adding umbrellas to the additional sun beds would be good, but there just weren’t enough for everyone when the hotel was particularly busy. The bar prices were extremely high, especially in comparison to prices in Kos in general. I know it’s a pricier/luxury hotel but it felt off putting. As an additional suggestion having the option to rent or use bikes from the hotel might be a nice touch!

I stayed with my partner for five nights to celebrate my birthday. Overall we loved our stay! The hotel is really beautiful and well equipped - with many pools, a small gym, spa and lots of comfortable seating areas. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful, they provided such a warm welcome on arrival and special touches for a celebration - we were upgraded to a room with a garden and given prosecco and cake to celebrate my birthday. Breakfast was good and varied (particularly the à la carte menu) and the bar had a great range of cocktails and mocktails. I also loved the small hotel store and merch!

We loved our stay. To make it even better, we personally would have preferred more bar service whilst sunbathing by the pool (we often had to go inside to order a drink). We also were underwhelmed by the beach area and did not use this as planned.

The property is incredibly well designed. It maximises comfort, open plan design and combines the inside and outside beautifully. There is extreme attention to detail and lots of thoughtful touches throughout the property. The staff all work incredibly hard to ensure that you are always comfortable, but service is never intrusive. The common areas are of a very high standard and the suites feel very private and insulated from any neighbouring noise. Staying at Theros felt like staying at your very rich and glamorous friend’s house. Although the hotel has grown, it retains a bespoke and boutique vibe without ever feeling pretentious. I have already recommended it to friends and family as an ideal relaxing getaway.
