The resort is a perfect stay because it is located on the lagoon, which means it is safe to swim, snorkel and Kayak in calmer waters. All of the equipment is free to use and located on the beach, along with sun beds and towels. The resort is located to a food night market which is great to try the local food, the bus stop is at the top of the road and is frequent and easy to catch around the island. The staff were very friendly and on hand to help when needed. We also booked spa treatments, facial and massage, both were amazing and definitely recommend.

Just spent an amazing week at Pacific Resort, I can't fault one thing, our Garden Suite was spacious and comfortable close to beach & restaurant, the lush tropical grounds are beautiful and the beach front lagoon is the best spot on the whole island to enjoy snorkeling and kayaking. All of the equipment is free to use and was top quality, with plenty available. The staff are amazing and very helpful, the provided tropical breakfast, is more than substantial, even for my Coeliac husband, he just had to request what he needed for breakfast and everyday from then on he received two slices of toasted gluten free bread brought to our table. There are a number of items on the lunch & dinner menu that are gluten free, especially the Ika Mata and Prawns in paw paw were divine. Happy hour is not to be missed, all their cocktails are delicious, their frozen Pina Colada & Pineapple Mojito were the best. Near the resort are many other restaurants to try and the Te Vara Nui Village Night show is practically next door. I highly recommend staying here.

The beachfront suite was comfortable, spacious with a good view Resturant had a good selection, the chiefs special sizzling fish was delicious

The Resturant was really good and most staff were fabulous, however we had one staff member who started cleaning around us before we had even finished our meal. I understand that if it is not busy that they want to clean up and close And if areas of the Resturant are empty then cleaning there is not really a problem. But it was only 8pm and she cleaned up around us even brushing under my chair!, banging into me, as I said we hadn’t even finished eating and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Loved the view from the bed, loved the cleanliness of the facilities, even smelt clean! Loved how the beach was right there, use of kayaks a bonus swimming right outside, free wifi which is fantastic! Love how you could wash your feet in a bowl outside before transferring sand inside. Really loved our stay here. We will be back

Didn't like the cleaners coming in at 9.30.. I know it was a 10am departure but felt rushed out. Also, the light on outside the room all night was shining through into the room, we love a dark room to sleep, apart from that, cannot fault the stay. It really was beautiful and felt very spoilt. Thanks again

Location and facilities were great. Most of the staff were exceptional, friendly and willing to help. The food menu and selection was ok but did not change during our stay and we chose to have most meals offsite as there are many other choices close by.

We had a garden suite and found there was very little private area for that room. Also, the room was only accessible on one side so you had to walk the long way around to get to restaurant and bar areas. One of the supervisors also didn’t appear to like it when some staff engaged and had fun with the guests which changed the tone when the supervisor was around.

Would have been great to have a bigger room for us as a family, also outdoor patio area wasn't a nice area to sit and relax. out the front of the unit was fine though. What really annoyed us is that our friends first were staying in Muri around the same time as us in a holiday home, and then they walked in to the Pacific resort to ask the rate as they weren't happy with their holiday home, and got a rate of $500 per night for the same room (premium family), 2 adults and 2 kids. We paid $700 a night, so that was a bit of a kick in the guts to be honest. We just feel ripped off paying an extra $200 per night.

Having a beachfront bungalow was amazing. The view was incredible across the lagoon.

The Continental Breakfast included in our stay was very limited. We weren't able to be fitted into the normal restaurant area when we arrived for breakfast on our first morning so we were placed in another area along way from the food. For the price you pay at the Resort it would be great to include a hot breakfast. On the morning we checked out to catch our plane - the breakfast area didn't open until 7.30am - so we grabbed breakfast elsewhere.

Beautiful spot to stay - great facilities - loved our beachfront room. Free snorkels, Paddleboards and kayaks . Muri lagoon is beautiful so it’s better to stay on that side of the island. Resort is very close to a 24/7 convenience store and the muri markets. Staff are really helpful with information about the island/good spots/things to do. Resort was also really helpful when letting you use facilities whilst waiting for transfers/ flights which was helpful. Overall great experience. Would stay again.

The Pacific resort is definitely a step above lesser priced resorts, so you won't be disappointed by the price paid, but there are no beach or lagoon views from the rooms, restaurants or pool area. The pool is in a beautiful, sheltered setting, however, so a great place to relax on windy days when the beach isn't calling. The restaurant is a little pricey, but there are other options in the village for variety. The complimentary breakfast has a good range of food choices.

The room, the garden setting, the beach right in front of my veranda, the location near shops, museum and AVIS car rental, and the delicious dinners and friendly service at Sandals restaurant.

The buffet breakfast was poor. Cereals were poor and no high fibre cereals like All Bran. The first day they had my preferred camomile tea, but not on the other days. I had to buy and bring my own. The muffins were not very good. There were no other pastries. The fruit tended to be overripe and soggy. The cold cuts where awful (perhaps canned meat?). The cheese slices were cheap. There were a variety of square toast breads but no raisin bread. Basically it was not a pleasure.
