Good location just outside the complicated roads of old town Chartres so easy to find. Parking on site was simple and convenient. Easy walk uphill to the cathedral and restaurants of the old town. Room was big enough with a lovely view of the cathedral through a velux window. Bed comfortable and in room facilities in good order. Shower room was a good size and shower was excellent.

Like all B&B hotels the furnishings are basic but functional. The bath towels were as thin as they could be and still be called a towel! The breakfast looked like it was the usual overpriced hotel breakfast so didn't take this and unfortunately there wasn't an alternative breakfast cafe anywhere nearby.

Hotel is an ideal starting point for exploration of Chartres. While easily reached by car, the rooms are quiet and look into greenery. Professional staff. Parking is possible in the yard or on a parking space immediately in front of the building (which we used because of height restrictions for the passage into the yard).

Room was not large, which could be an issue for a longer stay. We travelled with a group of 6 and used the hotel as a stopover on our way to the Bretagne, and it was perfectly fine for that purpose.

Location: easy to find, virtually town centre - could see Chartres Cathedral from our window. Parking (paid) a little tight, but very secure. Greeting on arrival was very good, rooms clean and in good order. We dined out locally, many restaurants in the area, no booking needed, and stayed out late to see the illuminations. On return to hotel, our host made us fresh coffee, gratis. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of choice. Happily recommend for a short stay, and would willingly return ourselves.

As someone passing through and just needing an overnight stop, this hotel was almost perfect. It’s in a perfect location to explore Chartres after a short uphill walk, there’s secure parking the staff are informative and helpful, it’s clean and good value for money.

The room was a little cramped, I’ve stayed before and the room was much better, but for one or two nights, it’s fine. Unfortunately the hotel had ‘temporarily’ lost its license to serve alcohol so a quiet drink after a long days driving wasn’t an option.

Room clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was varied and accommodating of different food options, good location only a short walk to the cathedral and centre. The underground secure overnight parking was a bonus as I could leave more or less everything valuable in my car

Access to the parking was via a code available at the reception but I wasn't given the code or instructions on how to access the car park once I was through the security gate. I worked it out eventually and once in the car park quickly found a space. The parking bays vary in width and some so narrow I wouldn't have been able to get out of the car once parked!

I enjoyed the breakfast, comfortable bed, sizeable tv, washroom facilities, friendly evening staff especially. Very handy for daily running along the river and moreso for the Cathedral, the reson for my visit. A relaxing introduction to my six weeks in France for athletics. Enjoyed the swifts circling the property. Loved the bar football game.

The floor in the room is unattractive. The lift whistled and wheezed at times. Paying for car parking is not great. Traffic going by is busy but calm in the evening. Those wasters hanging outside at times.

Location was perfect, great secure parking. We were able to have our breakfast on the terrace as the weather was so nice, this over looks the park with a river running through it. Breakfast was good and liked the coffee from the self serve machine. Just wished we'd upgraded to a better room although ours was quite adequate. Safe were helpful and very pleasant.

Room was of a reasonable size but in the roof area, small velux window. Room was quite warm and the air conditioning wasn't great. Wish we had upgraded, will do next time.

Room was comfortable with air conditioning, comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast was worth the 10euros with a wide choice including eggs and bacon as well as usual continental rolls etc. Friendly staff. Parking garage onsite. Within 10 minutes walk (uphill) of the cathedral at the centre of the city where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Also the Irish pub across the square sold good food.

If you're not a fit person, walking uphill into the centre of the city was a bit of a slog but doable.

I love this hotel. I've been a few times now. Beds are comfy, rooms clean, bathroom great. Everything runs like clockwork.

Since the last time I went, there seems to be no alcohol licence. Meaning, I didn't get my glass of wine sat on the terrace, overlooking the river, after dinner. Disappointed, but won't affect me staying again. I'll just buy one in! 😀🥂 BTW, Coca Zero on the terrace isn't the same!

The room was adequate sized (had a twin room) and the location was great. We didn't get the breakfast there so can't comment on that. They do have onsite private parking for a fee, but we opted to just park in the open lot across the street overnight and then had to purchase a ticket at 8am for the length of time we needed.

Our room lost electricity about an hour before we were about to leave so we couldn't finish our hair, but it wasn't the whole hotel, just a couple rooms. We notified them but as I mentioned we were checking out.
