Everything was provided as explained by the owner. Coffee, and conversation. The owner has always been polite and friendly this is my third stay.

For the needs i had, everything was fine. A place to sleep, bathroom, warm, and very clean. Lot of reviewers are critical of this place because it is aged a bit. Everything works, and it is clean. Stayed in a lot of brand new places that were crap, age of a facility does not reflect on its character or cleanliness.

The room was clean, very clean, and when arriving was carefully explained the parking situation, the desk hours, and how to contact the desk if necessary. In some other reviews, I see criticism of the management and attitude issues. After my stay, i pretty much feel those cases were probably self induced. The location is downtown, small town America, and does not have the major chain features that perhaps some folks desire, perhaps then they should just use the major chain of their choice. It was clean, warm and comfortable. exceptionally clean considering the price point. Coffee is offered. At the rate, breakfast was not expected.

Retro vibe but a GREAT value for the rate. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless, the bed and sheets comfortable, and the location put activities at my fingertips. I’ll definitely stay there again on my next visit.

It would be great to have a deadbolt that I could lock from the outside. I felt insecure about leaving my valuables in the room while I was away.

Very nostalgic feel to the entire place, very clean with a circa 1970 decor, which I love! The location was ideal for just walking around Main Street. Basic accommodations which was great value for we needed. I would return! The included parking was a true plus.

The lobby area was not air conditioned and of course it was 93 degrees outside which is kind of unusual for this area.

The room was very clean and the owner was friendly and accommodating. the location was great - right on the main street of Eagle River. There are not a lot of extras, but we knew that when the room was booked.

Our room was right by the back door, and it was a bit noisy as people were coming and going in the evenings and mornings.

Location was perfect, parking was easy. Check-in and out was very simple, and the owner/manager was very pleasant to deal with. Rooms were a bit dated, but very clean.

Would have been better to have had toiletries in the bathroom (they provided hand soap, but dispensers for shampoo/conditioner/body wash would have been ideal)

Quaint fifties vibe. Very comfortable, clean and easygoing. Manager friendly with dry humor. Location excellent, right in the middle of town.

WiFi weak in the room but fine in the corridor and coffee area. Complimentary cookies would have been nice!

Smaller, cozy place. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Owners were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Had a small refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to shopping area. We would definitely stay again.

Parking lot is small. No breakfast but close enough to restaurants.

Great location. Very clean. Accessible. Good value for a reasonable price. Good choice for anyone who just needs a place to lay their head & doesn't need a lot of extras. This is an old, downtown "motel" style place - very old "up north". We'll stay again.

It's old, so of course there aren't enough electric outlets. Bedding was skimpy. I think we may have had a twin blanket on a queen bed, and mattress too hard for me - husband slept like a rock.

Owner was super nice and walked us around and showed us where everything was and where we could park our motorcycles. We requested 2 extra pillows that evening and he immediately went to get us pillows. All the decor was right out of 70s/80s and everything seemed well taken care of. Very cute place. Would stay again!

Bed was a little hard but I'm used to a soft bed so thats on me. It was clean and that's what matters.
