Charming! Location was good. What a wonderful change from the average traveler motel. The room was lovely but small and VERY clean. The kids loved bed quilts and wood walls. We chose the location because of its proximity to the river so the kids and dog could get out some wiggles. The outdoor patio tables were an added bonus.

The room was a bit tight for a family of 4, but not a problem for one night.

The room was adorable, cozy, and perfect for my wife and I. The grounds were nice, with lots of shoreline & a few piers to walk out on. It was quiet there too, considering Hwy 70 was right up on the other side of the Inn. The decor was nice too, with the traditional chalet look, along with all the flowers & lights.

Not a deal breaker, but a continental breakfast of some kind would have been fun.

We liked the rustic cabin, camping atmosphere of the Edgewater. The location is great as it is right on Eagle River and is also not far to town. If you are looking for a fancy place with pools and saunas, this isn't it. It was a quiet, relaxing place.

Very clean and quiet! First facility, we've stayed in years where the bathroom exhaust actually worked! Although our air-conditioning was a window air conditioner, it did keep the room cool.

Just note that it's an old Motel that needs some upkeep on the outside of the building.

Location was great! Room was very clean and had nice soaps and shampoo. Stocked nicely with towels and washcloths. Had water bottles on table for us. The parking lot was very nice too.

A very small room but okay for one night. The shower was a bit small for my husband because he is very tall. The window would not open so we could get some outside air in the room.

No breakfast but owner shared his favorite spots in the area and he was not wrong. Great food and service at Lief's Cafe'. We could fish off of two piers in the back.

Being picky here...softer beds. Only thing.

The room was very small. We were traveling with a cooler and food bin, besides suitcases, so it was hard to fit everything in the room.

quaint, cute, on the river, offered canoe, close to town, good local coffee in room, locally made soap for use. Very clean. loved the furniture-new rustic.

The property appeared clean and well cared for. The Edgewater was very convenient to the town of Eagle River. Fritz was helpful in his recommendations.

Very convenient location. Old school rustic charm with great site on river. Friendly owner. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Wall air conditioner and box fans. Screen porch.

Excellent experience; just comments for awareness. Noise from road, but river view and proximity are worth it. Small efficient kitchen with very basic equipment. Small bathroom and shower, but good water pressure.
