We stayed in February during storms and rain. The Harbour Master Suite gave us plenty of room and natural sunlight through the extensive windows, bringing the outdoors in. The view of the harbour and surrounding mountains (when the fog lifted) was delightful. We enjoyed the fireplace as it made our room feel cosy when it was storming outside. You need to purchase fire logs, at $5 each, but they're worth it. Easy to use and no clean up. The Suite is only accessible by stairs, but we felt the elevated outlook was worth the effort

We were very surprised that the room didn't provide any crockery or cutlery (except for 2 coffee cups). On request, the staff were obliging to supply 2 wine glasses, 2 small plates with knives and a dish cloth. We didn't need to cook, but needed something to be able to enjoy nibbles and snacks. There is a guest kitchen on site, but it's very dated and uninviting. Be mindful, noise from adjacent rooms could be annoying. Thankfully, we only had noisy neighbours for one night (out of 4).

We enjoyed the calm and beautiful neighbourhood with a plenty of space for our dog to walk. There was everything we needed in the room and/or on the premises of the hotel. The common kitchen is very well equipped if you're planning to cook during your stay. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with questions. There are two large parking areas, so you can select the one which is closer to your building. The receptionist kindly offered a dog bed for our dog, which she liked a lot.

There were just minor issues in our room which didn't really affect our impression: the washroom door's lock didn't work, and there was a dog toy/treat laying on the floor of the room, which was probably left by the previous guests. Other than that, we would totally return to this lodge in the future for a longer stay.

We arrived a bit early and the staff went out of their way to get our room ready for us. The rooms were large and airy and the beds comfy. The bathroom was nice and well presented. The view over the harbour is delightful and the rooms have good ventilation and are quiet. Good wifi. Plenty of parking and an easy stroll to plenty of bars and restaurants.

Although the rooms were large they only had a fridge, no way of making any drinks or breakfast, there is a field kitchen in the compound but its a bit of a faf for some tea and toast.

I had a great experience here. Both ladies I spoke with at reception were cheerful and helpful, which is a nice way to start any vacation :) It's a nice historic building with all the creaks and quirks that come with it, but rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - mine even had a high cathedral ceiling and gorgeous view of the docks to wake up to. I also really appreciated the communal kitchen. It was quite large and well equipped with cooking utensils, a sink, large fridge and oven, making dinner time much easier and cheaper (plus, who doesn't want to cook while looking out the window at the harbour?). Location is also pretty unbeatable as it was right at the entrance to town and an easy walk to most places, all for a very affordable price.

Nothing, everything was great.

We like that the property was right in downtown you culet with a view of the marina and that I’ve had a communal kitchen. If you want to prepare some food, there was lots of places to walk right from the lodge and Shan was excellent at the front desk.

We had no complaints. Stay there for one night in an upgraded room clean beautiful bedding a fireplace and log to burn it a great ambience The only thing was the pillows were a bit too big and fluffy but who can complain about that

We stayed here on the off-season in late October. We have stayed in Ukee/Tofino about a dozen times at different places, from camping to airbnbs to local hotel chains and smaller local Inns. We quite enjoyed our stay at Princess Lodge. The front desk was friendly and professional. We received a complimentary upgrade to a loft room! It was greatly appreciated, so roomy and comfortable. Decent sheets and comfortable mattresses. The pillows did not have much support, but I brought my own memory support pillow. It's really nice shower pressure! Nicely renovated bathroom and room in general. The high-pitched wooden ceiling is beautiful The location is nice with a view of the marina and inlet. It has a communal kitchen but we didn't use it. I was very happy to see signs with strict quiet time rules starting at 10 pm. Although i could hear our neighbor snooring loudly Saturday morning, lol . Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it.

The reception staff were first class and very helpful. The location of the property is perfect, right on the harbour. There are laundry washer and dryer available on site with washing powder available in reception. There is a very good restaurant "Howlers" within a minute walk. Their seafood tsunami is a must!

The only negative for our stay was the room layout in as much as the wash hand basin is in the main room and not the bathroom. If anyone uses the bathroom during the night, they need to wash their hands, which involves making a noise and probably waking up your partner.

the view from the room was beautiful - the size of the room was great and extremely clean the shower was perfect too

there should be a towel bar near the sink to hold up a hand towel for washing hands rooms not very sound proof - could hear others having a large get together in another room, and small children running above us. These people were on vacation too - so not complaining about them, just a lack of sound proofing.

Great service, beds are so nice. They are working on upgrading a few things now so I'm sure it will be even better soon. They even have a large rice cooker in the community kitchen.

Little to not like. It's an older building so you can hear creaks as people step on stairs that connect to your wall but that's it

Central Location in Ucluelet. Clean Bright Room (two-story) with great view of Inner Harbour. Walking distance to most services and trails.

Elevator to transport luggage to second floor room. Hand Rails on both sides of steps (interior rooms and outer access stairs) for people with mobility issues ( i.e. arthritis of the knees ).
