Location amazing literally on the beach. We had a fab view from our room of the beach & pool area. We had an apartment which slept 5, though we only booked a double apartment. It was over 2 floors, with a balcony & terrace both over looking the beach. Great kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, & toaster. Close to shops & restaurants. Everything you need on your doorstep. Hotel has a bar on the beach too. Very good price for apartment. We had a problem with the heating, but the manager quickly gave us 3 heaters to plug in so we were lovely & warm on chilly nights. The manager was very helpful. Shower was great & really hot.

Only suggestion is that as the sound of sea is lovely, maybe don't have the pool jets on till 10pm as it drowns out the sounds of the sea. We visited mid Feb and the pool was too cold to use, but we did get in the cold sea, which is just in front of hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We messaged ahead of our visit and they let us check in early on the day of our arrival. The rooms were spotless and we were lucky enough to have a view of the sea. The swimming pool was open but due to the weather it was far too cold to use (I did manage a few minutes before getting out). The staff were very friendly and they booked us taxis whenever we needed to go anywhere. It also has a bar joined onto the hotel which is reasonably priced. Would defos recommend this place. Location, on the beautiful, long sandy beach, you can walk for hours, only 35 minutes drive from Alicante airport, quiet hotel, great staff, close to restaurants, bars, food shop. We had an apartment in the middle at the back with view over the pool and the ocean. I will book the second floor apartment at the sea front the next time we go there. There were 1 small double bed, 1 soda bed sleeping 2 and 1 single bed on the second floor. Loved the roof terrace. Great sized apartment with stairs up to the second floor.

Missing freezer door in fridge, no kettle but pots to boil water in, mattress was a bit firm but that seems to be common. Sunbeds pretty worn out and needs to be replaced.

Muchas Gracias to Andres on reception, an efficient, welcoming and charming host, he went out of his way to explain the routes to the nearest shops, best places to visit and the busiest bakery in town! He cheerfully organised taxis and allowed us to store our suitcases after check out. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, good wifi. The sea view (roof terrace a real bonus!!) and the proximity to the beautiful La Mata beach is splendid, the pool sparkling.

What is advertised as direct access via 2 gates to the beach from the pool area is currently shut and overlooking a building site, it looks like they could be extending the promenade between the hotel and the beach. The view from the room balconies was marred by said building site. The hotel needs attention, very shabby paintwork, ugly rusty spiral stairs between room balconies, piled up patio chairs next to the stairs leading to the rooms... The adjacent beach bar and restaurant I saw online is closed (seasonal?).

Location .. central to my needs. Close to family and friends. Bars and restaurants in abundance. Plus it is on top of the beach. The cleaners came every day with fresh towels and cleaned our room top to bottom.

The lights outside entrance to our room didn’t work for 6 out of the 7 nights.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location, very clean... i also loved the sound of ocean and the sunny terace.

A house is a bit old and could use some renovation. It is great in warm whether, but a bit chilly ona windy rainly day. That being said there are realy not many days like this in La Mata.

Location is excellent! Clean and well-kept facilities are appreciated.

We booked for a group of 5 people but only 1 large and 2 small towels were provided the night of our arrival. In the morning when the cleaning staff was there, we got more towels. It is not the easiest access to the bedroom area downstairs, as it is a narrow and steep staircase to descend. Only slim, able-bodied people can fit and climb it. Ceiling fans are a good idea because without windows, the air circulation was not good.

It was a restful place to stay. Near to restaurants. Tha balcony overlooking the sea was great. Easy to walk on the beach there was nothing we disliked

There was nothing we disliked. It was a self catering suite and filled just what we needed.It was close to shops , bank and on the doorstep of the weekly market. Would recommend.

The staff are the best, everyone from reception to cleaning staff, all friendly with a smile and a chat. We loved the solarium, we had sun all day. The location is perfect. Good value for the location. We did not have a direct sea view but had a partial view and we were happy. The bed was not like our own but was comfortable enough. Yes, the decor is tired but it is very clean. We didn't eat in due to the choice of great value restaurants nearby, some really great food which we loved.

The sun beds need replacing. Otherwise, we got what we paid for and expected, we would visit again.

We absolutely love coming to stay here! Andreas is such an amazing man and has always gone the extra mile for us when we visit which makes us want to keep returning! Housekeeping staff are also very friendly and respectful. All round a lovely place to stay! Thank you andreas and team, we shall see you again soon 😊
